Great Location

This was located in a great area. Walking distance to the beach, food and shops. The condo was cute with everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again.

Typical condo complex, but this one close enough so you can walk to the beach. That's a plus .Main street shopping also walkable ,so plenty of options there.

Excellent Property!

We were very happy with the property. We've stayed at Maui Vista previously - although a different unit, and have enjoyed our stays. We were even provided with two brand new beach chairs - still in plastic - very nice.

Aloha... Mahalo for allowing us to stay at your Island home. It was centrally located for the activities we had planned. Beautiful complex with friendly residents. We look forward to our next visit. Mahalo again for an amazing time...

LOVED the location. Central. Beaches, shops, restaurants all nearby.3 pools to choose from. Unit was clean, kitchen fully equipped, ocean facing for small ocean view. Would def stay there again! (The small extras sure made a difference and were appreciated).

Maui Vista retreat

Condo was beautiful and appreciated the amenities of a full kitchen and washer and dryer. The property was well maintained. Liked the convenience of the trash chutes on each floor. Good location near shops and restaurants. However, condo was not very clean. Areas were dusty, sand near dryer lint screen, bedding was dingy, and towels did not appear clean so we bought beach towels to use after showering. Appreciated the air conditioner; however, it was so noisy that it was difficult to hear the television.

Wonderful Stay Perfect for My Needs

This unit was exactly as described. It was clean, had all amenities listed, the bed was very comfortable and complex was close to beach, food, dining etc. It was perfect for my needs as I wanted to stay in same complex and building as my cousin and her family. Property manager was effecient in getting me info I needed on time, check in was easy as I arrived very late and she also helped me with my car rental @ Kihea Rentals. If I was to return to Maui I would have no problem staying in this unit or complex. I had no issues but I am sure if I did the property manager, Paradise Vacations would have handled it right away.

Awesome for everything except working remotely

Beautiful property with LOVELY little touches everywhere. Lots of basic things you may need like dishwasher soap, dish soap, some laundry pods, trash bags, etc.. They also have beach chairs and towels and fins. The location was amazing, across the street from cove beach and charley young beach. Walking distance from restaurants. The balcony area was wonderful too. And the bed was comfortable. The only issue is that the internet needs to be upgraded, it was challenging to work remotely there and it doesn’t work well in the bedroom. That and the room to sleep in would get pretty hot in July, even with fans. But I could see this only being a summer issue. Overall, we loved it! And would stay again.

Decent place to stay, but nothing fancy!

The property was well maintained and the unit is at the back, away from the traffic noise on S. Kihei Road. It is close to Kam 1 beach and a short walk to lots of amenities. It is had what we needed including dishwasher and laundry tabs, as well as a decent amount of toilet paper, but NO Kleenex. The pools and pool areas are VERY small. So don't plan on hanging out there with a large group or several kids. The condo had what we needed including 3 beach chairs and 2 umbrellas, plus a cooler for beach lunches. They also had a good amount of towels and linens for 2 people.The AC unit was easy to use. Our only 3 minor issues were-One with the Lanai screen door. I don't know what the deal is in Maui, but everywhere I stay the patio screen door is CRAP!! This one would not stay on its track and was a pain in the ass to open and close. The biggest issues were with cleanliness and pillows. All the light switches and door handle areas were covered with dirty fingerprints and had not been cleaned in a long time. It makes you weary of what else has been missed.The pillows were large!! So large we could not use them. Thankfully they had some smaller ones in the closet. The bed was soft, so having that with large fluffy pillows created a problem. Lastly, the head board on the bed was not attached so it rattled around whenever we moved in the bed.....not a good thing! LOL!All in all we would stay here again, but would ask for a better cleaning job.Mahalo.Jason

Affordable, Outdated Condo in Great Location

My partner & I stayed 9 nights at the Maui Vista condo, Bldg 3, 2nd floor with partial ocean view. POSITIVES: Affordable, great location, beaches, restaurants, shopping within walking distance. Condo complex has ample, free parking, beautiful landscaping. Washer & dryer worked great and we appreciated the provided laundry detergent. Kitchen is well stocked. Balcony is pleasant for eating and relaxing. Enjoyed using the provided beach chairs, umbrellas, and pool noodles. Loved the pool! Great concierge service with Dona G. NEGATIVES: Condo unit is outdated & sad looking. Kitchen tile floor has gouges. Bedding for queen bed in bedroom is low quality (thin sheets and not wide enough for 2 adults); pillows uncomfortable. Carpeting in bedroom is disgusting. Dishwasher soap tablets did not dissolve so dishes not cleaned thoroughly. An appropriate number of bar soaps for bathroom not provided, given our 10-day stay for 2 adults. Only 2 small, round bar soaps, barely larger than a U.S. half-dollar coin were provided and we used up the shower supply in 5 days. We bought 2 bars of soap for $7.49 and asked to be reimbursed by management company, but were denied. No hand soap provided for kitchen. Killed 2 cockroaches in the kitchen the first few nights, but the cockroach I saw on the last night of our stay escaped my chase. Also saw red ants the last few nights. If you're looking for a higher quality condo, this isn't the unit for you.

Bra läge.

Bostaden ligger i ett turistområde med nära till stranden, restauranger och andra turistattraktioner. Bostaden är lagom stor för 2-3 personer. Börjar bli lite sliten, men allt fungerade som det skulle.

Très belle propriété, toutes les commodités.

Le seul problème fut qu'il n'y avait pas de wifi. Aucune connection pendant tout notre séjour. Cela a pris plusieurs communications avec le gestionnaire avant qu'il nous confirme le tout mais nous avons convenu d'une entente.

Unit not ready …

We were told our room would be ready by 2:00 PM. After a long day of travel we arrived at 5:00 PM only to find the room nowhere near ready for us. Several minutes were spent on the phone trying to connect with someone who could help. Finally we made a connection with the person who would clean our room, but it would take her 45 minutes to drive to the room and another 30-45 minutes to get it cleaned and ready. Also, she had no record of someone checking in to the room that we had booked. Finally everything was settled and we got into our room at 7:30 PM. The week went great after this beginning.

The property was very nice. The internet however was non-existent. TV directions need to be rewritten as no mention of "Unknown source" in them. The bedroom was hot, and could not open window because screen was broken at bottom. Other the that we enjoyed ourselves.

Lights did not work in the bedroom. Had to use lamp, internet is extremely slow. No laundry detergent, not many garbage bags or cutting board. Nice AC unit, fan, and balcony

Quaint flat in the heart of Kihei

We had no issues whatsoever during our stay. There were quite a few amenities present including beach chairs, kitchen stocked with tools and basic stocks like salt/pepper/vinegar… washing machine in flat with a few detergents to use. We got a note from security once because we accidentally left a towel on the balcony rail. This also shows they take care of the complex and are always around to secure safety and wells-being of residents. Lots of bedding equipment, towels etc was also there. The couch is a basic pull-put to sleep on. We added a bit of padding, as these tend to be not the most comfy in any place but that was to be expected. It is fully functional and does the job well. We didn’t have to use the aircon at all - open doors and quiet ceiling fans did their job really well. Would definitely stay there again. Value for money ok, given the extreme high prices on Maui in general.

faults of the property

Washing machine was broken until second to last day. They were very accommodating during the replacement but I went a week without the use of it. Major construction was going on at the adjacent property. Very noise with heavy equipment and back up beepers. That should have been communicated prior to booking and should be discounted for that
