Located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, this home is tucked in among the towering pines on 1.5 acres. With 2300 sq ft, 4 bedrooms, & 3 full baths make this home perfect for individuals or multiple families alike. Whether you want to retreat and relax peacefully or entertain together in the common areas, this home is perfect for both. Additional perks include a large deck with outdoor grill, Jacuzzi suite off the master bedroom, a theater room, a large gourmet kitchen, & a spacious living room.

Bedroom 1 offers a king-size bed and a large walk-in closet. Just off the master bedroom is a beautiful nook with a roll-top desk, wireless printer, and sliding glass door to a large deck with beautiful scenery. The attached bathroom includes an en suite jetted spa bathtub along with separate shower including dual shower heads and dual vanities.

Bedroom 2 offers a queen-size bed along with a twin over a full size bunk-bed. There is a television with streaming services for individual entertainment and a walk-in closet.

Bedroom 3 offers a young girls' dream. It features a life-size doll house bed with a twin-size bed in the loft area and a full-size bed underneath. Child-size table and chairs, toys inside the wardrobe closet, books and a vintage school desk complete this room and ensures entertainment for hours for your little ones.

Bedroom 2 and 3 share a Jack-and-Jill bathroom complete with dual vanity sinks and separate bathtub with a shower.

Bedroom 4 offers two comfortable twin-size beds side by side. Simple, clean and just right.

The theater room has a high-definition projector, capable of displaying a vivid 120" picture onto the drop down movie screen. For your entertainment pleasure it is equipped with full surround sound and a large comfortable sectional. Pile on and enjoy a movie from most of your favorite streaming apps.

The main living space, just inside the entry, features a 65" flat screen TV with surround sound and most of your favorite streaming apps. Simple and comfortable seating in front of the TV and next to a warm, wood burning stove for those cold nights when needed.

Easy check in/check out process with the key-less keypad entry.

Crib available upon request.

Wireless internet is available throughout the house, and most cellular service providers are available.

House was perfect for our large family. Very well stocked, it had everything we needed. Host was friendly and very accommodating! We really enjoyed the neighborhood, it was nice and quiet and very scenic. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful place

This home was wonderful for our 7 adults and 2 toddlers! The host was quick to respond to all our questions, and the kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, small appliances, pots/pans, etc. Loved staying here!

A wonderful stay in a beautiful place

We greatly enjoyed this rental. The house was beautiful, the area very very nice, and the owner very good. He went out of his way to take care of us and we really enjoyed our time here. If you're anywhere in this area rent this house!

Cabin in the forest

This a very spacious and equipped property. It is in a very quiet location. There is very good access to both the Durango and Pagosa areas. The porch and outdoor grill are a plus.

Another great visit

This is our 3rd time here and we, again, loved it. The house is a great base of operations for running around the area and it's big enough to host a bit of a family reunion with fun had by all. The area is beautiful and peaceful. The host is wonderful and responsive if we do have a question.

Beautiful location, home, and memories

We had a fantastic time at this property. We were able to have a very small wedding on the property itself and it was a dream come true! We enjoyed how easy it was to check in, how communicative and supportive the host was, the location and of course- the house itself! Jason was an incredible host, he really went above and beyond to help make sure the wedding week went smoothly. Truly the best vacation ever all thanks to Jason and this property!

A great place for our family.

We really enjoyed this beautiful home in a quiet area! There were wild turkeys and deer to enjoy. We even had the experience of hand feeding some veggies to a local deer who decided to visit us each morning on the front deck. A short, scenic drive to Durango for us to hop the train and take an awesome rail ride down to Silverton. If you have a large group traveling together, this place can be perfect!

Lots of room to spread out

This property has tons of space and options for all age ranges! We got more than we expected between a very spacious kitchen, fantastic media room, and lots of sleeping options. We saw lots of wildlife - including deer and wild turkeys. The road getting up to the property is unpaved and very steep in places - fortunately our rental car was able to manage it. If we stay in the area again, we would absolutely book this property again.

Peace and quiet in the pines

This is a lovely property in a subdivision in the country. Surrounded by pine trees, it is private and quiet. We slept with the windows open every night, grilled and ate dinner on the deck, and enjoyed the deer that visited in the mornings. The house is well-stocked and clean, with comfortable beds and a great media room. Jason is a caring and attentive host. We definitely would stay here again.

Wonderful home away from home

This house was the best that I’ve stayed in. The accommodations were way over what was expected. There was q-tips, cotton balls, lotion, Kleenex and on & on for our use. Even a printer if we needed it. Lots of towels & wash cloths for us. The house was very roomy. We had deer that came to visit. The kids loved it. It was great!

This might be the best VRBO we've ever stayed at! It was as beautiful as a staged home, as comfy as being home, and better stocked than any hotel. We enjoyed everything about this place from the setting to the accommodations to the theater room. Our only regret is that we only stayed five days because we couldn't fit everything in. Close to outdoor adventures including horseback riding, quaint towns, historic sites, in a safe community with wildlife all around. Everything was clean, new, functional, well-stocked and comfortable. Never once did I think "I wish they had..." Instead, I wished I could have stayed forever. We had little contact with the owner but he was friendly and reached out to us to make sure everything was too our satisfaction - which it exceeded. We enjoyed family movies, family games, barbeque, great nights' sleep, animal watching and stargazing. We wish we'd had more time to enjoy it all and explore more of the trails around the neighborhood lake. I highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone!

If you like quiet times and Deer this place is for you

It is a nice place in a subdivision a few miles out of Bayfield. Quiet neighborhood. Deer, chipmunks and wild turkeys were our only visitors. There is a strip of lawn that the deer bed down on the afternoons. Pretty good entertainment area, too. If there is an off-season coming up this winter we would encourage Jason and a work crew to lay down new flooring in the kitchen, put in new pet and kids proof carpeting in the living room, too. Plus that roof lighting tube in the master closet needs big time cleaning out. Sharp kitchen knives for future visitors will be welcomed as well, I bet. Otherwise, he has a "winner".

Our New Year’s Vacation Getaway

We arrived to a beautiful, clean, spacious home and were welcomed by the scenic views of the previous day’s snow storm. We appreciated Jason having the driveway and walkway plowed and accessible, making our unpacking process go quickly. The home was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the game room, the large kitchen and the dining room was large enough to accommodate our large family for all meals. We kept all blinds open during our stay because the deer were in the area and we’re peaceful to watch. Due to the previous day’s snow storm the internet was unavailable, so we took that opportunity to enjoy an evening of board games, dominoes and cards. Basically, staying unplugged was nice for a change. Jason texted to check in on us regularly due to the inclement weather making us feel welcomed and like we had a friend in the area if we needed anything. We look forward to booking this home again in the future and Thank You again for making our New Year’s vacation getaway one to remember.

Had a great stay here--house is very spacious and comfortable, well stocked, with something for everyone. Location in secluded neighborhood in the woods was quiet and peaceful. Jason was very attentive and great to work with! Would love to stay again!

Great getaway spot

Our family really enjoyed staying at this lovely property. The house was roomy and very comfortable for the 6 of us--4 adults and two tweens. Bedroooms and bathrooms were great--the little girl's room was delightful and our 11 year old granddaughter was in heaven! The kids really enjoyed the large screen tv room and we watched family movies both nights we were there. The kitchen is large enough for several people to work in at a time and it is very well stocked with supplies and equipment. Jason, our host, was very responsive and gracious. He was able to fill a special request which really helped us out. Thanks for making our trip memorable.
