Coolum Escape - Your own piece of coastal cool
Created for beach living, this stylish two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment features a relaxed ‘beachy’, modern feel. Located at the quiet northern end of Coolum Beach village, you will love the easy 5-minute stroll to the beach, local shops and essential amenities. Come and live like a local and retreat each day to your own slice of 'coastal cool'.
ABOUT THE SPACE -
The whole apartment has been designed to make you feel right at home – light and airy, colourful and spacious. The ‘coast-meets-Scandi’ vibe, has been created to give a thoroughly relaxing space to unwind.
Your light-filled open plan living area extends on to a wrap-around, covered balcony overlooking a lush private garden courtyard. A modern kitchen with all the usual amenities integrates with the spacious dining area and a large L-shaped sofa is perfect for relaxing with a book. Floor to ceiling plantation shutters provide a laid-back tropical feel.
This is the perfect place for:

- Two couples
- Two single adults
- A couple, one single adult and a baby/toddler
- A couple and one child (or two children if they would share a bed)

The main/master bedroom features a king bed (from Koala) for a relaxing nights’ sleep. The ensuite bathroom includes towels and amenities, while a large walk in robe provides plenty of storage. Windows and balcony doors allow the cooling sea breeze to flow through. Fall asleep to the soothing sounds of the ocean each night.
The second bedroom features a queen bed, with side tables and reading lights. A substantial built in wardrobe provides loads of storage. A large window with plantation shutters and an overhead ceiling fan provides great airflow. The main bathroom is adjacent and includes towels and amenities. Both bedrooms include 100% cotton, hotel-quality linens. Beach towels are provided.
A NOTE ABOUT THE SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS -
The main bedroom has a KING bed, which can’t be split. There is room for a cot for little ones. We don’t have one, but guests are welcome to bring their own. The second bedroom has a QUEEN bed, which can’t be split, and there is no room for a roll-away/spare mattress in this room. Additionally, the sofa in the living room is not suitable for sleeping (apart from the occasional afternoon snooze). We like to make potential guests aware of this to help them decide whether our place is right for them.
There is an internal laundry with washer and dryer. Free, unlimited NBN Wi-Fi, a sleek smart-TV with soundbar plus a Bose Bluetooth speaker provide entertainment options.
The private garden courtyard allows external access to the path leading to the shared pool and on to the various access tracks through the sand dunes to the beach. Secured, covered parking is available for one car. Untimed street parking is also an easy option if you prefer or have more than one car.

We spend our time between the Sunshine Coast and Sydney throughout the year and created this space as our own getaway. As such, this is not your typical ‘holiday flat by the beach’. To be perfectly honest, we're not into 'high turnover' and 'wall-to-wall' bookings. In fact, we encourage much longer stays. A fortnight, a month - or more - and will adjust rates according to your requirements. If this is your scene - contact us and we can discuss.
Ultimately, our hope is that you'll enjoy all the little touches and creature comforts that make the place more a home-away-from-home.

In most circumstances, we prepare and ready the apartment ourselves, prior to your arrival. When we are not local, we work with a much trusted and highly experienced local host based just five minutes away in Mount Coolum. They are thoroughly familiar with the property and the local community. This gives peace of mind to have someone close by throughout your visit if we are not nearby. In saying that, we are always available via phone, SMS or email for the duration of your stay.
Ultimately, our hope is that you'll enjoy all the little touches and creature comforts that make the place more a home-away-from-home.
