Original 60’s beach shack with 2 bedrooms, funky kitchen and large covered outdoor area.
Easy, flat stroll to local cafes, good coffee, yummy restaurants and the beach!

The space
Neat and tidy beach shack decked out with new and modern furniture to make your stay comfortable, including air con and Nespresso machine!
Only 800m to the main st, the beach and coles - all flat walk!
Linen all provided including bath and beach towels.
Bring your friends, family or pets!!
Please note it is a general house rule that dogs/pets must generally remain outside, including overnight. If you wish to request otherwise please do so by contacting me prior to booking.

Guest access
The entire home is accessible to you. The shed out the back is locked for our private use.

Other things to note
You are required to use a few stairs at both the front and rear of the home. Two stairs to the front door, then the laundry/bathroom is down three stairs from the main living/kitchen area (same level as the back patio).

The whole experience was great, close to shops and beach made it great as well as having such a well fenced yard for our dog.The house was exceptional clean and well stocked with everything you could need and more. The little extras were really appreciated, we will be back :)

Nice location, 12-15 minute walk to shops, cafes and beach, great dog beach a further 10 or 15 minute walk. Very peaceful house, a lot of privacy in the back garden. This is our 2nd stay and will return. Thanks Coby.

What a great little beach shack we throughly enjoyed our stay there. It’s old but that gives it character and hosts have made it so homely and lovely inside with lots of beautiful touches. It’s in the perfect location you can walk to the shops and beaches. All the headlands are amazing and the Noosa national park walk is breathtaking

Dog friendly retro little beach shack

Awesome little beach shack, only a short walk to central Coolum beach shops and restaurants. Dog friendly backyard and Coolum Beach is very dog friendly. Enjoyed our stay.

Lovely stay, good location

Had a lovely stay, good location, 900m to cafes and dog beach. Place was clean and had everything we needed. Accurately advertised, host was very responsive and friendly. It was great to be able to bring our pups with us, they love the beach!

Relaxed Family Getaway

Our family had a wonderful stay at the Beach Shack. The relaxed and comfortable atmosphere made for a great getaway. We enjoyed how conveniently close it was to the beach, shops, and restaurants—just an easy 10-minute walk. Communication with our host was always prompt and clear, and the thoughtful little touches made us feel welcomed. It felt like we were staying at a friend’s home! While adding fly screens to the windows would be a nice improvement, the air conditioning and fans kept the space cool and quiet, making our stay even more enjoyable.

Great getaway

Had a lovely two nights here. The house is well described as a beach shack. It has a great retro vibe. It was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The host was wonderful to deal with, answered my queries quickly and was very obliging. Would definitely recommend the beach shack.

Coolum Beach Shack

This place has a fantastic backyard and is a two minute drive to Coolum shops and beach. It’s an easy 20 minute drive from Noosa. There’s a great dog friendly beach nearby called Stumers Creek. We enjoyed our stay here. It’s comfortable and close to everything.

Great weekend getaway

Great little spot with everything you need. We didn’t cook but cupboards have all the essentials cookware. Nice outdoor area and large backyard. Comfy beds plus beach and shower towels provided. Walking distance to beach front, restaurants and cafes or 5minute drive.

Delightful beach shack minutes from the beach

The first impression is of how clean and well set up the property is. We had everything we needed and some extras we didn't anticipate like a top of the range Weber, high quality towels and linen, beach towels and good quality toiletries. The garden is lovely with soft grass for kids and dogs to play on. We loved this house and recommend it for a relaxing holiday in Coolum.

We had a lovely stay. Beach is a short, enjoyable walk (no hills). Our dog loved the big backyard - big enough to play a game of cricket. Loved all the little details - coffee, chocolates and milk in the fridge. We would definitely stay again.

Very comfortable Shack at Coolum

The accommodation was exactly what we needed. Our toy poodle, 'Toya', was very happy and made herself at home there. Thankyou Cody for being so accomadating to all our needs and going the extre mile. We will definately return.

Little house close to the beach

This little house was close to the beach, shops and cafes. Had all you needed in the surrounding areas. The outside was well maintained, but the inside definitely needs work. Sheets and towels were spotless but there was dust everywhere as well as mould in the aircon, in water jugs and on curtains. There were ants in the shower and no fly screens on the windows meant they had to remain shut. Air-con was nice and cold but the mold visible from the outside was concerning and the tower fans were helpful for the areas the aircon didn't reach. Although the kitchen did have some items in it we found ourselves having to purchase basic items such as paper towel, cling wrap, baking paper and sugar. Laundry and bathroom were well stocked.

Enjoyable stay

Our stay was comfortable. Rooms were neat and tidy. Bedding was clean. Kitchen was ok but cooktop and oven took a long time to heat up, most likely due to age. We brought our airfryer so that helped. Cookware eg. Pots & pans were disorganised in under bench space. Bowls and glassware needed a wash before use. 1 glass had a crack and we avoided use. 1 mug also had a crack and stains and wasn't suitable. There was no additional bin bags supplied, had to buy our own along with paper towels. Would've been nice to have this on hand. Laundry was well stocked. Vacuum cleaner was old and was left without emptying out. But just suitable enough to pick up floor dirt once I swept with broom. Overall the house is ok but curtains need replacing. They were aged by sun and broken in places, making place look unkept. We stayed during xmas and new yr which turned out the hottest week in years. AC managed to keep house just cool enough. Floor fans were useful aswell. Location is great and central.
