My husband and I enjoyed our stay at this home. I would stay here again. I think it was a great value in comparison to other homes on the island. My only suggestion for improvement would be better bathroom lighting.

Perfect cozy little getaway in the Bahamas.

Cozy little two bedroom that was perfect for my family and friends. The owners were very accommodating and a lovely family that live on the property who took care of our every need! Will be back! Missing this place already!!

This establishment is wonderful and in a cozy part of Harbour Island. The accommodations were very nice and clean and our host was polite, respectful, down-to-earth, and professional. I highly recommend this establishment. (The Bahamian Naturalist)

Could of been better

Gotta be honest. Lost AC and WiFi 2 days into trip. No communication except WiFi was fixed saw a handy man working on AC. Never got fixed and never heard from anyone again. Place is clean and things can be a struggle in Briland but a fan would have been nice. The pack of dogs that stay on each side of the house are deafening 24 hours a day. I know that’s not the rental’s fault but if multiple barking dogs outside your windows bothers you. Stay somewhere else or bring earplugs.

We LOVED Malda House!!

The place was clean and comfortable, and Jocondamae was responsive and gracious. The air conditioning was wonderful. The beds were comfortable, although we found the pillows to be overstuffed and hard. There were nice towels, but not enough for each of us to have our own beach towel. We truly enjoyed our stay, but I’ll share a couple of items that could have made it even better. The other things we would have appreciated are potholders for baking, and we were disappointed that there was no outdoor seating, nowhere for us to lounge outside at the property. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us, and allowing us to be so close to my uncle for our visit that was way too short to your beautiful island. We hope to stay with you again!!

Family Beach Trip

This is our second time to Harbour Island and our first stay at Malda House. From the point of reserving to checking out, the hosts were welcoming and helpful. We had an issue with our golf cart rental and Jamal helped us contact the rental company and fix the cart. The apartment was perfect for our family of four. The property is exactly as it is described. We often stay in vrbo rentals and so we were prepared to bring/purchase all the things outside the starters provided (toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap). We also travel with a cooler of food from home to have on hand. The home is located in a neighborhood amongst other vacation homes and is easy to reach by golf cart. Book your golf cart early to make sure you have one to get around the island. We would definitely stay at Malda House again!

A fantastic property, great stay!

My family stayed at Malda House for two nights during our visit to Harbour Island. It was a delightful experience! First, the property is described as an “apartment”- technically true because there are two adjoining properties, but Malda House is in fact a beautiful home on one level. The property is clean, comfortable, safe and literally 2 streets over from the south end of Pink Sands beach. Check in and communications the host were pretty seamless. Be advised that you should probably get a golf cart to get around (we did) if you plan to go to the north parts of the island. Walking is possible, but walking with luggage can be a drag! The only pieces of advice I have for the host are to stock up with paper towels (or a mop cloth) if possible so that one can clean up mud tracked in from the yard off the beautiful tile floors and to provide bath soaps. An update to the shower/tub combo to avoid water dripping out is also desirable, but definitely not a problem. Thank you for sharing this home with us- great memories and the kids absolutely LOVED it!

Beautiful

Beautiful rental, friendly helpful locals, super host! The only thing I would say is there is a little concrete pad out front it would be nice to have outdoor furniture to sit on outside.

Clean. Friendly managers on site. Easy in and out. Harbour Island has no street addresses which made it difficult to find but manager, JoJo, was very patient.

Quite a d clean location

Overall, the house was clean and cool as the ACs were fantastic. A minor issue with water pumping into the shower and wifi (as per host, island issue - low water pressure). The host was very understanding and accommodate us by switched different room. I would go back if water and wifi issues are fix.

Excellent newly renovated minutes walk to Pink Sands Beach

Newly renovated with impeccably clean, uncluttered interiors and you can walk to Pink Sands Beach in the time you can eat a bag of chips! Large spacious bedrooms and living room. Well maintained lawn:garden and size of apartment was fine for family with kids. Lovely family hosts. Note there is only one bathroom which is very spacious and new. There is an outdoor shower which we used instead of the bathroom as who doesn’t love an outdoor shower after a day at the beach?

Harbor island getaway

We had been in rock sound for a week and decided to go to harbor island for few days. The house was so clean. It had everything we needed. It even had washer dryer as well. The beds were comfy. It was perfect for our family of 4. We took tour with exotic excursions with Sheldon. While there we saw the Turtles. The pigs and snorkeled with him on the trip. He was so nice. If anyone goes use him. The island was small but we enjoyed the pink sand beaches and eating and valentines resort. We also enjoyed the piggly wiggly and Arthur’s bakery. The house host J was so attentive and helped us get golf cart for use while on the island. The house is attached to his house on behind. The house we stayed in was on the front. It was perfect. If we come back we will stay again. The bedrooms were air conditioned which was a definite plus for sleeping at night. Thanks again great place
