The Space:

Step up onto the front porch and into the home via the keyless electronic lock and be greeted with vast high ceilings and generous sized rooms that have been designed and styled with your comfort in mind.



LIVING AREA

The living area is filled with a generous plush lounge that surrounds the large wall mounted TV with access to all your favorite streaming apps - the perfect cozy place for a movie night. Retire to the quiet library where you can catch up on any work or study at the presidential desk by the windows or just sit quietly by the decorative fireplace and get lost in one of the many books on offer.



KITCHEN & DINING

Cook up breakfast, lunch and dinner in the fully equipped eat-in kitchen with all the gadgets, trays, dishes and utensils you would expect to find in a family home. There is a full size fridge/freezer, a freestanding oven and gas cooktop, a microwave, coffee maker and a washing machine to take care of all the cleaning up.



Serve up your meals at the kitchen table or gather everyone into the elegant dining room for dinner with a table set for six and a highchair available for the little ones.



BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS

There are three bedrooms within the spacious home. Each bed is topped with soft, quality linen and bedding along with plenty of storage for you to unpack and make yourself at home.



The master bedroom offers a luxuriously large king bed with an attached full ensuite bathroom and a pack n’ play cot if needed.



The top floor also has a second bedroom with a queen bed and a beautiful pocket door that closed off the adjoining third bedroom with two twin beds. Perfect for families who want to stay together.



There is a full bathroom on the top floor which offers a relaxing full bath with an overhead shower and a vanity stocked with all the essentials.



Head downstairs to the basement where you’ll find a fourth sleeping area with a sofa bed, floor lamp, and nearby TV. It’s open to the family room, which has space to relax, play games, or watch movies.



Also in the basement level is the laundry room with a washing machine and dryer along with complimentary washing powder so you don’t have to bring a thing.

ABODEbucks loves hosting guests of all creeds, races, and nationalities. This said, to protect neighborhoods and properties from parties, reservation inquiries from local guests with few or no reviews will likely be denied.



PRIVACY-SAFE NOISE MONITORING

This home is equipped with NoiseAware monitoring devices that alert us if noise levels increase over reasonable levels. This allows us to reach out and request that levels are reduced to reasonable levels. To protect your privacy, the monitors do not record audio.



GUEST VERIFICATION

SafelyStay, Inc., verifies the identity of guests, and checks criminal databases in order to confirm reservations.



TRUST & SAFETY

The SafelyStay, Inc. Trust and Safety Fee includes up to $10,000 of accidental coverage for contents damage and up to $100,000 coverage for accidental property damage and bodily injury.



The Trust & Safety Fee allows the security deposit to be waived, while protecting you, your group, and the property should an accident happen. The $78 fee is collected at the time of payment and may be labeled as “Trust & Safety Fee” or “Management Fee”.

✔ This home has been carefully designed and outfitted for the comfort of vacationers and business travelers. Please do not inquire if the following items don't work with your plans.

✔ Primary renter must be 25+ years old

✔ Pets are not permitted on the property

✔ No smoking inside the home

✔ No additional guests - If more guests are expected, please add them to the reservation

✔ No Parties - If the guests exceed the number stated in your reservation, it will be considered a party

✔ Quiet time is 10pm - 9am (including weekends). The neighbors are proud of their quiet, peaceful neighborhood and we ask our guests to be respectful. Please keep voices and music down during quiet hours.

✔ Outdoor areas off-limits after 10pm

✔ Nothing can be taped, pinned, or attached to walls, ceilings or hung from the lighting fixtures. Absolutely no glitter or confetti.

The house was clean and homey. It was in a great location. We were dissapointed with a few things. There was no running water to the sink in the 1/2 bath on the main level, which was reported, but no action was taken. The home was advertised as 6 beds. The white twin was not in the basement. The futon was small and hard and not great for sleeping.

Other than a few very minor issues (which are always expected), our stay was very enjoyable. Owners were very quick to respond to communications. Nice and clean.

Convenient location inthe Grove

Beautiful two story house with old world charm. Located very close to Forest Park and the hospital. Loved the historic pocket doors! Great place to stay with family for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Nice house

We really liked the house and the accommodations. Great location and quiet. We had everything we needed. Only complaint was that we found that the floors were not well cleaned or mopped and the downstairs bathroom smelled like urine.

Great stay in St Louis

The host was great, very responsive, and friendly. When we arrived the house, check-in was very easy, was so clean and smelled really good. The house is older, and had some very pretty wood work and hardwood floors. It had a nice decour. Lots of great records and books in the "library". With an older house comes some older house issues, the bedroom doors didn't latch and shut all the way, and there was not a microwave in the kitchen, which would have come in handy. None of us were very good with technology, and the TV was kind of hard to figure out, so maybe have some instructions or even a channel guide would be nice. There was ample street parking and even when we came home late at night, we could still find a spot. The neighborhood was great, lots of restaurants and coffee shops that I wish we had time to explore. It was a very easy drive downtown as well. We would stay there again for sure!

Great Stay

The house had a great layout for our family to hang out in, with the kitchen and living room being one open room. Unfortunately the bedroom layouts were lacking for our 4 adult couples and the picture descriptions were a little misleading. One of the five “bedrooms” had two twin beds, which were adequately described and that’s where we put our child. We thought the rest of the four rooms would have beds ranging from “full” to “king” as the picture descriptions show but one of those bedrooms only had a twin mattress and it was located in the main area of the basement, not necessarily a bedroom. We ended up borrowing an air mattress from local family and slept in the den, which does close off completely so it worked out okay. Otherwise, we had a great time staying in this lovely home.
