Little to No Hot Water, Parking Issues
Parking is an issue here. When we arrived at the property, we found an official sign at the front of the house listing a maximum of 3 parked cars despite the listing showing 4 and us reserving it for 4 vehicles. The driveway was completely cleared of snow, but it could hold no more than 2 cars (even small ones). There was dirt to the side of the driveway covered in snow and a portion of the yard to the left of the driveway partially covered in 4-6 ft of snow due to the street snow plow that we eventually had to use to park. When we called, we were told multiple incorrect things about where we could park on the property (it seemed no one even knew the layout) yet no one would come out to look at it or help shovel any of the large pile of snow. Thankfully, a friend had a large, 4 wheel drive, truck because that is the only way someone would be able to park there. Even then, I was afraid of being ticketed due to what the sign says, so I sent pictures of the parking arrangement and requested they confirm by email that we would not be ticketed. On top of the parking situation, no one in our group had a hot shower the entire weekend except for one who showered late at night. Otherwise, the water was lukewarm at best even with just one person using it. Other than that, the property was as described. I would not recommend this property and I would prefer not to rent from Big Bear Vacations again after this experience.
