Welcome to Sunny Poipu Beach! This upgraded Kiahuna Plantation leaves nothing to be desired! This second floor unit overlooks the lawn with tropical plants and complete privacy. This is unit # 411 in building 41. GREAT LOCATION! Relax out on the lanai and enjoy views of the luscious, tropical garden. BBQ's are close by for your use. Poipu Shopping Center is just across the street with fun shops and restaurants. Relax on your private lanai overlooking the garden while being steps to the sand. Surf spots, long walks and lifeguarded beach are at your fingertips. Fast 200mgb Wifi, fully stocked kitchen, free parking, 24 hour no hassle check in with key-card, king size bed, full bathroom and oversized lanai with dining table and lounge chairs on the lanai too.

The Bedroom has a comfortable King size bed to ensure a comfortable night's rest. Don't forget about the coveted AC to keep you cool on a hot Kauai day! The living room is complete with a queen size sleeper sofa to accommodate 2 extra guests (4 total), cable TV and dining for 4. We loved this unit! My boyfriend and I stayed here at the end of August for 6 nights and had a great time. The unit was spacious, clean, and comfortable. We loved being on the 2nd level. It was private. The bed and couch were comfy. Loved having AC in the place! Loved having the outdoor grills right outside our unit which we used everyday. Bonus, the grills were cleaned EVERY MORNING by the groundskeepers, so awesome. The unit is next to the road and we didn’t hear any traffic noise at all. It was very peaceful. The unit is quite a walk away from the though, however we didn’t mind, we loved having our morning walks. We enjoyed using the athletic grounds for the pool/jacuzzi and pickleball too! Only downside is that the pool closed at 7, but not the unit’s fault. We would definitely stay here again the next time we are back in Poipu :)

Kauai Vacation

The VRBO had everything we needed for cooking at home. The location was great for easy access to the beach as well as shops and restaurants. The beach chairs and additional supplies were also very handy and made the experience more enjoyable. We would certainly stay here again.

Overall disappointed

Part of a nice resort. Shower and bathroom had a musty smell and property was very loud with construction. Internet did not work and there was no cable in the bedroom. Overall a little disappointed with the price.

Good accommodations

Nice condo with good upgrades. I’m the back of the property but we spent more time at the athletic club then on the beach and it’s right across the street. Wish it had an umbrella, chairs and a cooler as I bet everyone that comes would use those items. I had to buy them at Costco unfortunately. Otherwise, great place, super accommodating to meet me and drop off unit keys and responded right away to phone calls. Thanks for the great stay!

Very clean property!

Short walk to the beach was very convenient. Actually preferred this property after staying there. The parking gets crowded the closer to the beach you get. Easier to park in this area. And can walk across the street to the cafe and athletic club. Very clean home and very spacious for at most 4 people. Thank you!

Perfect vacation spot!

Poipu is the best spot on the island. It is easy to get around from this location. The beach is nice and accessible. The condo has everything you need and is very clean. Parking was easy. The host was very helpful and responsive and even gave us some pointers which added to some of our daily adventures. When we left we said we would definitely rent this unit again!

Such a perfect location in the Poipu beach area. Very central to the beach, shopping, and restaurants without feeling overly crowded. Super comfortable place to stay with everything you need. Private feeling making it perfect for a honeymoon.

Not as advertised

Very disappointed. The condo is tired and worn and even a bit smelly. I payed on the floor to do my Physical Therapy exercises and the carpet smelled so bad I almost gagged. There were only minimal supplies in the kitchen, not even plastic wrap or foil. No beach gear whatsoever. No beach chairs, toys, or towels. It is located in the farthest building from the beach and across a busy road to the pool. The pool is very small, especially for the number of people using it. The water was a bit murky.the only thing good about this condo was that it is in Hawaii.

Great condo for a Kauai getaway

This condo was a great spot for our Hawaiian getaway. The unit was super clean and our neighbors were not too loud. The building is right next to Poipu Rd and I thought it would be super noisy but it wasn’t too bad. There is no glass in the windows in the bedroom or bathroom so you can hear the roosters in the AM very clearly and conversations of people passing by. The kitchen was functional and had plenty of plates, cups, silverware and pots and pans. The lanai was relaxing as it overlooks a grassy area. We had lots of bird visitors. There is a table and two loungers so it was a great spot to eat breakfast or take a nap after a day on the beach. There was always parking available close to the building. I would recommend staying here! It was close to Poipu beach (lots of turtles on the beach there). It’s a little bit of a walk to the beach on the resort but not unmanageable.

Careful Review Required:

The property was not as expected. The unit is as far away from the beach as possible, actually, outside the shaded area on your website that shows the location.. To access the pool you have to cross a busy road walk up a hill. Unit had the basics, but no more. There is a safe which I consider very important; however, the connection to the building is very poor. I suspect I could tear it out with bare hands. The access stair to the beach has collapsed and been repaired. The repairs appear to have been done by a person with no skill. Pitiful. The condition did not change in 2 weeks. All disappointing.

Nice place and location

We enjoyed our stay. Good location about a 3-4 minute walk to the beach. Central location for touring and the shopping area close by. I would stay here again.

Loved it!

We loved our stay at Svetlana's place! Our family of four ( 2 children 5&7) had plenty of space and the beds were comfortable. The walk to the beach was about 5-10 minutes (depending on how slow our 5 year old walked). You can walk from the beach in front of the resort down to Poipu beach where we saw Hawaiian Monk seals and sea turtles sunning themselves and playing in the water every day! You can check out towels from the resort beach hut for free and they have other beach items you can rent (snorkles and such). The Poipu Athletic Club is right across the street and has a great pool with a water slide and a sandy shallow end for small children. They also have a gym which you can use for free!! The Poipu shopping center is also right across the street and has a general store for anything items you might need, the BEST Gelato shop, and lots of other restaurants and shops! So happy with our choice to stay at Svetlana's, we would book with her again. Best vacation!

Nice Condo ... Owner Accomodating

We enjoyed our stay here. The owner, Svetlana, is VERY Responsive and VERY accommodating. We were provided late checkout privileges until 8:00 pm as our flight was at 10:00 pm. The condo is very nice and is spacious. There are some minor updates needed but no big deal. Noise from the road not a big concern as it is eliminated at night once windows are closed. Wake-up calls from roosters in the early morning. These helped us make use of our days. No AC was needed as the fans were sufficient. The beach the property is on is very nice with good service from the beach hut. The grounds are nice. A couple of minor issues with property management. These were resolved with help from Owner. Enjoyed our overall stay. Strongly recommend the property.

Very nice and comfortable.

Our condo was nicely furnished. Bed was comfortable. It was wonderful having the tradwinds blowing through the condo. Balcony is spacious, we grilled one evening and ate outdoors. Five minute walk to the beach, towels, chairs and umbrella’s available. Only slight criticism is the bathtub/shower is very tired looking and needs updating. We would stay here again !

Excellent location and customer service!

Overall my wife and I loved this place! The only reason I would drop one star is the shower (which we were told was being replaced after we left). Otherwise, this is an excellent place in a great location. The owner was easy to reach and very accommodating. We would love to go back, the island is a dream!

We loved our stay at the Kiahuna Plantation.

The grounds are so beautiful and it is the perfect beach. Wish we could have stayed longer. The owners were very helpful. Absolutely loved having cleaning service a few times during the week built into our stay.
