Two king bedrooms — both of them — and a private lower-level rec room that changes how a beach week actually works. La Playita 7 is a Holmes Beach vacation rental two blocks from the Gulf where the layout is bigger than the bedroom count suggests and the heated pool is waiting when you come back from the sand.

The rec room is the practical differentiator. Beach gear lives down there — no sand tracked through the main living spaces, no tripping over chairs and wagons. It works as overflow space for larger groups, a quiet retreat when the main floor is busy, or simply the room that makes a week with kids genuinely manageable.

Two bedrooms, both with king beds — a configuration that works for two couples or any group where everyone wants a proper bed. The living room sleeper sofa handles the remaining guests, sleeping six total. Two full bathrooms. The updated kitchen has modern appliances and everything needed for full meals at home. In-unit washer and dryer. High-speed WiFi.

The beach is two blocks away. Publix, dining, bars, and ice cream shops are within easy walking distance. The free Anna Maria Island trolley stops nearby for exploring the full island without moving your car. Guests who find La Playita 7 tend to come back — some for multiple stays running.

La Playita 7 requires a one-week minimum stay. Not pet-friendly.

Perfect location, clean unit!

We enjoyed our stay at La Playita. It is a two minute walk to public beach, Publix a block away to stock up and restaurants galore. We had quite an age and ability range and all had fun. Would highly recommend!

Great location

Near beach, restaurants and grocery store. We enjoyed walks on the beach, sunset cruise and friendly neighborhoods. The unit does have tall stairs so make sure you are capable of carrying your suitcase and climbing stairs. There is also a great pool.

This was an overall decent place to stay. A couple of bugs in the house early on, but no more after that. The lower level is not accessible from inside the upper main level. Not a big deal, just a surprise. We picked this location due to it's proximity to other family staying in a place very close by.The beach was a short walk and the restaurants and shopping were also super close. We would stay here again in the future.

It's so easy to walk everywhere and then catch the trolley for longer distances. The condo was very clean, and we had no issues. The basement room is super nice and offers a third full bathroom and huge TV. I would definitely stay here again, and I thought Island Vacation Properties did a great job. They are friendly and very helpful.

Amazing place to stay!

We stayed in this unit for our 2 week vacation and it was incredible. We didn’t want to leave. We would definitely stay in this unit again. It was clean, cozy, inviting, and nice. The pool was amazing - right outside the door and we were the only ones using it the entire 2 weeks. The place felt private but was so close to everything. We couldn’t have asked for a better location. An extremely short walk to the beach and Publix, and a short drive to each end of the island. My one and only complaint is the beds were so hard. They were not comfortable at all. But that would not keep me from staying here again, that’s how much we enjoyed it. The rec room was a nice added bonus as well. We enjoyed having that to store all the beach toys.

The staff at Island Vacation Rentals was very helpful from the reservation time to the check out time. They helped me know where to make reservations for a beach cart and an eco tour to see manatees and dolphins before we arrived. When we arrived we had trouble getting the door code to work for the extra room on the bottom floor. They coached me on the phone and then sent a maintenance person to resolve the problem. The property was clean and well-maintained. There were plenty of dishes, pans, and utensils to cook if you want. However, you have to buy everything else you want, including condiments, tea or coffee, etc. There were a few spices. It would be helpful to have a box of tissues, some condiments, and the like. I brought a few Tide pods to do laundry. There were 3 beach chairs, just basic. It would also have helped to have a small cooler. I had packed a small collapsible one. Restaurants were plentiful nearby. We liked Tide Table (so delicious we went back a second time), before you come over the bridge, and Ugly Grouper and Hurricane Hanks, nearby. You can walk to Publix from the back of the property. We loved an eco tour with Captain Kathie.The beach is a short two block walk away and is not crowded. I would definitely recommend the property and am already thinking about when I can return.

We had a very nice week the only incident was a leak in the ceiling in kitchen possibly from the bathtub upstairs or the air conditioner-I’m assuming it was the tub!. Also the air conditioner could have been cooler at night-which was on a set temperature....

There's so much to do on Anna Marie Island such great food & music talent to suite everyone's taste.Back to the condo we had plenty of room loved having a washer/dryer& it includes what use to b a garage made into rec room w LG tv,ping pong table ,futons another small refrig, kitchen area w another toilet & shower so could easily bring more people w you there's also beach chairs,umbrellas & pool floaties, etc Ask for condo #7 you will not b disappointed !!
