We had a wonderful stay at this lovely lakefront cottage. The location is perfect—right on the water with beautiful views. The cottage itself is clean, bright, and open, with lots of natural sunlight pouring in through the windows. It felt spacious and inviting the moment we arrived. Highly recommend for a peaceful getaway!

Our second stay at this wonderful cottage for our annual family vacation and it did not disappoint. Everything from my review last year still holds true. Shane and Alan have gone to great effort to make sure you have everything you need for a little rest and relaxation in a perfect setting. We’re already picking dates for next year.

Amazing stay

We had an amazing stay and a great weekend for our family reunion; this is a truly amazing property with a lot of attention to detail. We absolutely loved the hot tub and the large cozy couches!

This cottage is absolutely beautiful! The rooms were spacious and clean! The kitchen has everything you need to make your meals. Bbq on a spacious deck overlooking the water. Lovely lake view with a paddle boat, life jackets, a couple of kayaks to enjoy. We had the best time with our two boys and their families. Highly recommend this cottage. Shane was very responsive with anything we asked. Great week!

We took our 3 daughters and their partners there for 5 days and had an amazing time. The cottage was more then enough space for the 8 of us and had everything we needed. Shane was an excellent host and we would definitely consider returning for another visit.

We couldn’t have asked for a better spot for our annual family vacation. Lake Scugog Waterfront Cottage definitely exceeded our expectations. The cottage was beautiful, spacious, clean, comfortable and really well equipped. Communication with the hosts was great and they have made every effort to make you feel at home. We were sad to leave and are looking forward to returning to this little bit of paradise.

AWESOME Home and Location

LOVED the place. It’s so huge and clean, with amazing lake views. Loved watching stars at night with peacefulness of the lake. There’s everything you need for a relaxing time with your friends and family. I’d definitely come back again. Miss the place!

Beautiful, modern and well appointed home with plenty of space for everyone, inside and out. The hosts were exceptional and very quick to respond to a few minor issues that we had. Would love to rebook in the future.

Amazing property

We were all very impressed with this cottage. Spotlessly clean, very modern, and spacious (lots of room for our large group of adults and teens/kids). Beautiful views to lake. I like details like plenty of towels available, fully equipped kitchen and lots of seating inside and out. This was our first time renting and we plan to return next year.

NYE a Home Away from Home

Our stay was absolutely excellent! The owner truly thought of everything to make our visit enjoyable. Communication was seamless, and every detail was thoughtfully considered. The property was spotless and incredibly comfortable, making it feel like a home away from home. Both the kids and adults had a blast—there was something for everyone to enjoy. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a stress-free and memorable getaway!

We just spent Family Day Weekend in this property with our whole family (8 adults, 3 small children) and we can't speak highly enough about our experience! This cottage is huge and beautifully laid out. The bedrooms are spacious, with king beds for all the adults, bunk beds for the kids and a crib for the baby.The furnishings are lovely and the living spaces are welcoming and comfortable. The cottage is so well appointed - tons of dishes, towels, cooking utensils and accessories. Games, hot tub, ping pong and more. They've thought of everything. The setting is beautiful and we were able to enjoy being outside in February. To top it off, the hosts are very accessible and responsive. We had a minor question and they were on top of it immediately. We hope to return to make more memories in this lovely cottage!

We had an amazing time! The home is beautifully designed, and the owner has truly thought of everything to make the stay comfortable and memorable. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the utensils, plates, and tools you’d need to prepare great meals. And the host even left bottled water for guests, which was a thoughtful touch.There were plenty of towels, including cabana towels, and the hot tub was the perfect way to unwind at the end of the day.The hosts were super responsive and helpful throughout our stay. They were always available whenever we had questions, which made everything easy and stress-free.From the Sonos speakers throughout the house to the comfy, huge couches and TVs on every floor, every detail added to the experience. The ping pong table and games definitely brought out our competitive (and fun!) side.Highly recommend!
