Large spacious cozy year round home on a very beautiful property with a sandy beach.
4.9 Star review rating on 3 platforms.
The most gorgeous sunsets, that is perfect for large groups and multiple families.
Hot tub on the lakeside deck, a large upper deck with gazebo and a propane fire pit.
The property backs onto a very quiet private park and 2 min away from Wolf Run Golf Course,
as well as a convince store 2min away with pizza wings, liquor beer and wine, just over an
hour from Toronto.
Multiple Ski Resorts 30 min or less
There is a Guest Cabin with an Outdoor Kitchen 10ft from the beach fully decked out with
a washroom and cedar enclosed private shower wireless internet Heated and air conditions to
be comfortable year round.
There is multiple paddle boards, multiple Kayaks, Multiple canoes and other water toys.

The Cozy Cottage is Rustic yet fairly modernized and Open Concept and has a spacious dinning room
and living room so large groups and enjoy time together comfortably.

Very good cottage. The property and amenities were amazing. If you forgot to bring a single thing for cooking, they ready had it in their kitchen. Host was responsive and very helpful.

Our host welcomed us and showed us around , explained some things. Beautiful view, the place was nicely decorated for Christmas inside which was a nice surprise. They had a well stocked kitchen, plenty of towels for the bathroom and hot tub. Extra blankets. There were some games and a big table top chess set that we used. Great set up with tvs that had Netflix etc.

Beds were cozy, heat was good as we were there in the bitter cold! Hot tub was in good working order. The kitchen cupboards were full, a few of us have OCD so we tried to organize some drawers :) I guess this limits where you put the food items you brought with you, we were limited to the counters but not a huge issue. Ice maker was not functioning. Space was good for 18 guests, however anyone with mobility issues you may want to note 2 bedrooms plus the living room has some steps. Loved the karaoke speaker for our games!

Our stay was so lovely!!

Overall impression of this cottage was amazing. Beautiful place right in front of the lake! Truly blessed, our family had so much fun. Big space and great amenities! The owner Illiya is truly such a kind owner and answered all our questions promptly! Would definitely come back again!!

Large Family get away

This was a get away for 4 families including the grand parents. We all had a great time and the weather was awesome. Outdoor activities were fun for all ages and after re jigging the rooms we all had a comfortable stay. The host was very interactive and accomidating.

Great host and beautiful property to stay

Illya was a great host. The sunset at the lakefront is the takeaway along with the beautiful backyard of the property. Great place for a large group of friends or family gathering. Highly recommended!!

Fantastic location

I booked this location for a surprise 70th b-day for my mother-in-law. From start to finish it was a great experience and we would definitely book again. We had plenty of space to sleep our group of 9 adults and 4 children. There was plenty of space to eat all together and a great relaxation space with a beautiful aesthetic. The host was very helpful and great to work with. He was very responsive to my questions leading up to our stay.

Incredible Lakeside Property with an Communicative Host

We booked this property to have a chill weekend celebrating two birthdays in mid-September. The location was perfect for a relaxing weekend spent by the lake as the backyard connects to a dedicated dock that is equipped with some canoes and boats available to guests (There are also life jackets in the guest house near the dock.) Our group was planning to cook dinners during our stay and the kitchen was fully equipped with utensils, equipment, and even whatever seasonings you require. Iliya was a very caring and communicative host, and made sure to check-in with us throughout the weekend without being any way intrusive. I would happily book this spot again!

I contemplated writing a review, but I feel I should let future guests know how our experience was. The very first thing that went wrong was we showed up at the check-in time and there was someone else staying in the house, and came out as we were looking around the property planning our event. She then contacted the owner who explained he mixed up the dates House was not clean, and we did not have access to an empty house until after 8:00 pm. The maid was asked to come quickly and she was lovely, but this was not a great start to our weekend. Walking around the property and inside the house, we noticed that there was not a matching chair, no cushions matched, and I actually fell through a chair when I attempted to sit outside. It’s a cottage, but my expectations were a little higher. This is a good place to get away with buddies or a party weekend. I have never seen duct tape used to fix a kitchen counter by the sink, and the entire hot tub cover was made out of duct tape as well. Although we explained a number of times we did not want to use the hot tub. The owner insisted on coming back every day to add chemicals. This hot tub was not clean enough for my family to go in, but he was focused and didn’t listen. Day two and we are preparing and setting up our small wedding and noticed he was parked behind a bush on the property. It was extremely weird and made me uncomfortable. The day of our wedding he was out front fixing his boat! Vrbo was sold as having place to yourself?

Will be back!!

We had an absolutely stellar experience at cozy cottage. The property is beautifully clean and well maintained inside and out. The minor problems we ran into were quickly taken care of by Illiya who was the ultimate host. The beds were all made up for us and every one of them was comfortable. Firepit with loads of wood and chairs for everyone. Fire table on the deck out of the wind and rain. The list goes on! And a fully stocked kitchen!!! I've never been to a rental so stocked. From pans to spices they have everything you need and more at your disposal. My sister-in-law and I are already planning the next family do there because even though our group were escaping our children, Cozy Cottage is perfect for kids. There are toys, entertainment, and loads of space to keep kiddos busy no matter the weather. The cherry on top was the hottub. What an unbelievable way to unwind after spending the day out kayaking. I always thought of Scugog as a small lake but was proven dead wrong. I can't wait to go back and really explore everything Scugog has to offer. Thank you Illiya!! Youve set the bar SO high for what a rental can be and we can't wait to revisit Cozy Cottage again and again.
