Great property in a great location. House was spacious, clean and gave us a very cabiny feeling. The town is charming and we enjoyed some great hiking trails. Would recommend this cabin to travelers coming to the area,

Good cabin. Older property than it looks on the web site. But still plenty good for the price. Had a couple small issues, but the host said she wood take care of them after we left. Over all good for what we needed in our short visit to Cloudcroft.

Wonderful quiet place to get away for a bit

This was our second time at this cabin. Neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. Cabin is super cute and cozy. We love it!

Everything was great. We wished the deck had a fire pit of some type and the beds were too soft for our taste but overall a great stay.

Beautiful cozy cabin

Wonderfully kept, responsive host. Had a huge snow storm and our guest contact was accommodating and super helpful. Would absolutely stay here again, cannot recommend it more strongly!

Cute cabin close to town

Well equipped cabin vlose to Cloudcroft and just a short drive to Alamogordo or Ruidoso. Quiet neighborhood with decent unpaved roads.

Good experience!

This cabin was cozy and just what we needed. It’s a couple miles from Cloudcroft downtown area, but an easy drive there. We were there when it snowed, so I’d recommend 4 wheel drive, but it was only 1/4 mile dirt road off the main road. We did have trouble with the shower in the master bathroom, but other than that, everything was clean and as listed.

Lovely Cabin

Loved the cabin. It appeared to be secluded in the pictures, however was more in a neighborhood. It was very quiet though. Didn’t find any bath soap, however had brought our own in case. There didn’t need to be any communication with the manager but it makes you answer (?). Would stay there again if in the area.

BEAUTIFUL MOUNTAIN GETAWAY!

We had an absolute, wonderful stay in this beautiful cabin. Everything was as it was stated in the description but here are a couple of items to keep in mind (not deal breakers). 1. There is no trash pickup service and trash will need to be taken into town. Keep your trash "dry" as much as possible. 2. Window screens need some repair. Because of the small holes, as you can imagine, it allows bugs inside. A little annoying but not a deal breaker. 3. The bed in the master is super soft. If you're used to a little more firmness, this takes a little getting used to. Not a deal breaker. 4. TV in the bedroom as no sound. If you're used to sleeping with the TV or whatever, just know this. 5. Lighting is scarce. Keep this in mind if you're wanting to do the puzzles in the evening/night. Again, NONE of these 5 items are deal breakers. Just wanted you to know. ENJOY your stay!

The location is peaceful and served as a good base for exploring the area. However, the property did not appear to have been thoroughly cleaned or well maintained. The patio was dirty enough that we swept it ourselves immediately after arriving. Inside, we found layers of dust, crumbs in the kitchen, and bugs/moths in the house. There was also trash scattered around the yard.The listing indicated a dishwasher, but upon arrival we found a note instructing guests to wash dishes by hand instead. Guests are also expected to transport their own trash into town for disposal, yet there were no outdoor trash cans and only one trash bag provided for the indoor can.The master bathroom also needs attention. The bathroom door was loose, and the shower head appeared as though it could fall off, making us uncomfortable using it.With better cleaning, maintenance, and clearer expectations regarding trash disposal and dishwashing, this property could provide a much better experience.

Relaxing Stay In The Mountains

This place is so cute and cozy! We really enjoyed staying here and watching the snow outside the wall of windows. It was nice to be able to wash clothes and the beds are so comfy! My only complaint is that I tried messaging the host (the managing company) a couple of times and never ever got an answer to my questions but other than that, everything is pretty self explanatory and it really is such a lovey stay. Definitely would stay here again!

Peaceful and Beautiful

Wonderful place to stay if you're looking for a quiet place in the mountains. We absolutely loved our time there! Easy check-in and reasonable rules. A very peaceful place away from the crowds -- far better than the Lodge!
