Great House and Great Location

House was perfect for our three family units, ages 6-71! Easy access to best part of N Forrest Beach. Love the floor plan. Well stocked kitchen.

Great vacation!

The house was even more beautiful and spacious than the pictures show. The location is ideal - close to the beach and Coligny Plaza but not a lot of traffic. The bedrooms were comfortable and nicely decorated. We had 11 people and never felt cramped. We ate most dinners in and had plenty of room at the two dining tables. I would absolutely recommend this property and would stay there again if we return to Hilton Head.

Great location, but not the best execution

Upon arrival, the house had not been cleaned. The cleaning team was supposed to have been done by 4:00 pm. After calling the property manager, the cleaning team arrived around 4:30 and completed cleaning the house at approximately 5:30. Great location for the house. However, some of the furniture is showing its age, especially in the great room. Also, there are virtually no lights in the great room, so rather dark in the evenings.

Wonderful place in a Wonderful Setting

Had a great week even though the weather was a bit iffy at times. Very beautiful neighborhood and real close to the beach. Very nice house and the owner was oustanding. Had a problem when we got there. The place had not been cleaned. Called the owner and he was upset. He immediately got hold of the cleaning company and they came right over and cleaned the house. He went one step further though and refunded us $300 for the mistake. We used it for an excellent dinner out one evening. Can’t say enough about the owner. Would stay there again in a heartbeat!

A wonderful gathering place!

This home is beautiful and spacious. We arrived to an immaculate home where attention to detail is very evident. There is plenty of room to spread out, and several lovely spots to relax in smaller groups if you desire. The pool and hot tub were a huge hit and there were ample chairs and shaded tables where adults could visit and still keep a close eye on the kids. The outside veranda was wonderful with our one year old because he could toddle around safely and see the activity in the swimming pool down below. We loved the uncrowded beach which is a very short walk from the house. We enjoyed the spacious living/dining area where we could build jigsaw puzzles, play cards and enjoy conversations. The owners are very kind and responsive to questions. We have rented several homes in Hilton Head over the years. This one is now our favorite.

Beautiful home in great location

I'll start with the only downside to our week of vacation at this property: the beds and scratchy bedding were really uncomfortable. We were surprised because everything else about the house was great. The house is large, well stocked, bright and otherwise comfortable. The pool is partially in shade in the afternoon, which is nice coming back from the beach on hot days. The house is so close to the beach that it was extremely convenient for our large family, ranging in age from 15 to 90. The location close enough to Coligny plaza to enjoy all it has to offer easily, but far enough to feel we had a private, uncrowded beach was wonderful. We would definitely return when we have our extended family together in the future. We just hope that the beds and bedding would be updated by then.

Hilton Head Family Getaway Haven

After a tumultuous couple of years, we booked a much needed family vacation. We wanted a quiet place convenient to amenities within walking distance to the beach and that also had a pool. This place had it all. A short 2 minute walked to the beach enabled us to watch every sunrise for the week we were there. In the evening, we would make our way right back to walk and look for turtles and crabs. (Two turtles nested while we were there!) Our crew loved the pool and pool area. It was well-appointed with furniture enough for everyone. The grill was great for cooking out by the pool for dinner. The house inside was simply beautiful. With six incredibly spacious bedrooms, two living areas, and dining seats enough for everyone, we all were able to spend time together while we also had our own space to relax. We took advantage of the two massive decks to sit and visit while enjoying the fresh ocean air. I can’t thank Anthony enough for allowing us to stay at this stunning home - it truly was great. Everything was perfect, incredibly clean, and exactly what we needed. We are already planning a return trip!

Great house for large families, close to the beach

This house was the perfect size/space for a family vacation. My 4 adult children with their families all had their own space, and most importantly, each family had their own bathroom to share! Loved the huge master on the main level for myself, with another bedroom on the main floor. The four bedrooms upstairs and the loft area gave plenty of room for the families with kids to keep the little kids in their room with parents, or for movies/sleepovers on the oversized sofa/pullout.The pool area is great. Plenty of seating/dining space and sun most of the day. The short walk to the beach is great for going back and forth between pool time and beach time. Beach towels and beach chairs are not provided, which wasn’t clear in the listing information. Beach/pool toys are whatever others have left behind- there were plenty of rings and toys during our stay, but if you have these things and are driving best to bring your own! Our group of 8 adults and 4 children (13, 6, 5, 5.) had a great week, and overall everyone loved this house because of the size, layout, pool, and proximity to the beach! Would def rent this again.

We had a blast on vacation. The property is in a perfect location. A short walk to the beach. The owners are excellent hosts and went out of their way to accommodate us! I highly recommend this property.

Perfect from beginning to end

Can’t say enough! House location is excellent so close to beach access, bike path and Coligny circle. House doesn’t skimp on anything needed to accommodate our family of 14. Plenty of seating for dining and lounging. Kitchen well stocked with everything needed to cook. This was our second time at 2 Kingfisher. Feels like home every time we pull into the driveway. Anthony and Angela are a dream to work with. Calls and texts immediately answered. If an issue arises it’s solved promptly.

An amazing getaway!

Our stay this past week was amazing! Our group consisted of those ranging from 1 yr of age up to 70 yrs of age and everyone enjoyed themselves. We had everything we needed. Pictures don’t do this place justice. Everything was even better in person!!

Great beach house

We had a great week at 2 Kingfisher. The layout of the rooms was very pleasing for a family gathering with small children. The outdoor living space was nice with a porches, deck seating and a great pool. The walk to the beach was convenient and partially shady. It was easy to bike to restaurants and parks. Anthony and Angela were attentive landlords and communicative, and took care of any concerns immediately. Definitely returning.

Great property and location

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. Wonderful location - a quick walk to the beach and Coligny. We loved the pool area and layout of the home. The owners were very responsive and were a pleasure to deal with. House was in good condition and was well stocked. Would be nice to have some curtains over the blinds in the downstairs master suite to keep the room darker at night.

After vacationing at various locations on Hilton Head Island, we concluded that North Forest Beach was an ideal location and our house at Kingfisher couldn't be in a better spot -- close enough to everything you need but far enough to provide the getaway you were looking for... Coligny Plaza, your source for everything from food, shopping, and entertainment is a paved, shaded trail away and short enough for someone of any age to make the trip on foot or bike. This trail also feeds into the numerous bike trails available which allow you to explore the entire island. We also have direct access to the beach on our street without having to cross a primary road.
