I really enjoyed my stay at the Gulf Gate Resort. The condo was exactly as shown in the photos. It was an older resort, but was maintained well. The condo was also very clean. I would most definitely stay there again.

Great Stay at Gulf Gate Resort

We had a GREAT week at the Gulf Gate Resort VRBO rental on St. Pete's Beach. The property was clean, had excellent, easy access to the beach, and a nice pool & hot tub. The property's location was ideal, located near several excellent restaurants and a Publix grocery store.

Peaceful beach escape

The property appears older style online but looks, while accurate, was actually a very nice condo. The building is old but in excellent repair and the condo is modern and very clean. The building is also not a high rise which made for a peaceful stay. No big crowds. Pool area was never crowded and beach was very nice and quiet. Most people in this area were families and older people. We really enjoyed getting rest and relaxation.

April visit

Overall great experience. Gorgeous beach and the pool was lovely. Staff was friendly and very attentive. Had a slight issue with washing machine in our unit (no fault of the rental company), but they handled everything and it was fixed within an hour. Already booked our stay for next year.

Gulf Gate

I can’t say enough about how wonderful the location and views are from the condo, the beach is steps away and the unit was clean and had everything we needed. The building and unit do need some updates, it has an old feeling to it and could do with some tlc, but overall we were very happy with our choice and would stay again!

Condo was nice. Only issue was that several electrical outlets were not functional. Had to search the condo to find outlets to for charging our cell phones. No other comments.

Near perfect experience

Overall, we had a great stay. The place was easy to find, check in, and unload luggage/groceries. There were many pros with this property: safe, quiet, beautiful view, easy access to beach and pool, and very convenient (shops, restaurants, Publix, and Starbucks within walking distance to name a few). There were a few cons within the condo though. The lowest setting on the A/C is 70 so during mid/day-evening it was very warm. We ended up closing all of the blinds all day to keep the place cool hindering the beautiful view. The bedroom is in the back of the condo and was significantly warmer than the front making it hard to get comfortable at night. Lastly, the bed was a bit too hard adding to the discomfort. I would rate our stay 4.5 stars if I could because overall we enjoyed our time.

Perfect Condo!

The condo was clean and beautifully furnished, with a nice size pool and jacuzzi. Facing the ocean, and only a few steps to the sandy beach. We walked over multiple times a day since it was so close. Breathtaking sunsets, not a busy spot right in front of this building. Grocery store right across the street. Can’t wait to come again!

Great location to be!

It was very enjoyable for our family to stay at Gulf Gate Resort. Having a nice warm pool and hot tub in the property was very nice and helpful for our kids. The only frustration we had was the dryer. It only worked intermittently and stopped working most of the time. We got by because we dried our clothes on the benches on balcony. Other than that the view from our room was so relaxing and soothing. We also liked how people were respectful and quiet at night. We would come back again.

Our overall experience with unit 103 and the staff at Gulf Gate was excellent. We had to switch units mid-stay and the staff did everything to make the move as easy as possible. Kudos to the staff!

Amazing location

Nice condo. Gorgeous view of gulf and beach. In such a great spot we didn’t have to drive anywhere at all. Great food bars and shopping within a short walk. Loved it.
