The house was perfect size for our group, we enjoyed sitting on all the different spaces outside but the trees made it feel stuffy. You couldn’t see the lake well due to all the trees.We had a small issue with a bed being dirty and a toilet handle broken but the host reimbursed us for it right away and was sincere regarding the bed.We’re thankful they had a second lot to park 2 boats and trucks and would definitely stay here again if we had a chance.

Nebraska Fishing Teams

The House was beautiful! The space allowed of all to come together and each team to have their own space as well. The location to Halcomb Landing was great! The owners were wonderful to us. Would definately recommend!!!

Amazing Group Vacation!

The house was clean and more than spacious for our group. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked. Communication with the property manager was excellent; he responded quickly and had suggestions for anything we needed. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. Overall, we had an amazing stay and would absolutely return to this home!

Beautiful home/location

The house is beautiful with lots of space. We had 10 people and there were beds to spare. Beds, pillows and sheets were really comfy. Great view of the water because all the leaves were not out on the trees yet. Quiet but close to town. Hiking trails close by. We really enjoyed our stay and were given early check-in and a later check out as well_thank you!One observation_if you have a big group you might have an issue because the stove only has 2 burners. There is a grill and we had taken a big electric skillet so we were fine!

Great base for week on the lake

House was very clean and just as pictures show. Very quiet spot but still close to the boat ramp and town for coffee, groceries, fuel, etc. Host was very responsive before and during especially being flexible with check in/out times. Excellent AC was much appreciated in the heat. Plenty of rooms and bathrooms spread out for our large group, never ran out of hot water. Made good use of the main floor and downstairs sitting areas with a great setup downstairs with kitchenette, couches and large TV for noisy gaming and snacking. Kitchen got a bit cramped with several people preparing and serving meals for a large group but worked out ok, plenty of spices, oils, etc. Prior awareness comment about only 2 burner electric cooktop with electric "grill" is valid, a 4 burner unit is necessary for a house designed for large groups. Same issue with small 2 burner outdoor grill, worked ok but need a bigger one for large groups. Couldn't find a teapot so just heated water on the stove. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect family gateway place but be ware of the property owner

This is a beautiful house - with lots of bunk beds and bathrooms. We had a wonderful time. A couple of points to note - the house is well equipped with everything (kitchen dinnerware, big refrigerator, washer liquid, driver sheets, etc). The room above the garage gets very cold and there are not enough blankets. So carry a few blankets. For any questions, contact EVOLVE, they are good. But make sure you don't have to deal with the property owner. He is VERY RUDE!!! I have rated one star just because of that - he spoiled our Friday evening and asked us to vacate the property if we are not happy over-reporting a few small issues in the property.

As a standard in the vacation rental industry, we provide a starter amount of essentials such as blankets, and once that amount is out, it's typical for the guest to bring additional or purchase extra. - We understand the issues you experienced during your stay. We strive to provide a 5-star experience to all of our guests so we offered you a reimbursement for the last day of your stay. - While we want our guests to enjoy their stay here, we also need them to respect our house rules and treat the property as their own, and we were disappointed to find that you had damaged the hardware on 4 of the doors in the home including the front door. We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests!

Great place to stay with family. Calm and serene near the lake . Lake was visible as the leaves starting to fall, but don't see access from property. Lot of parking with second lot available. House was clean and organized. For larger group 2 burner grill seems little small, but we enjoyed the grill time in the woods. Host communication was smooth and got quick responses.

Awesome place and great owners and property managers.

Awesome place. A great place for large groups like ours. The property was in a great location for us were close to the dam were the tournament was out of. Also close to town so we could run to the store if needed. The kids loved it and so did the parents. The owners were great to work with along with the property manager. I would recommend this house and property anytime. Hopefully we will be going back to Lake Cumberland in the near future for more tournaments and stay there.
