Direct Lake Access from Our Home!!! Best Views on Lake...Sunrise and Sunset!

Yes...the views are awesome. We do have access to the lake from the house, unlike other homes located on Lake Cumberland. Most people come to Lake Cumberland for boating or meeting friends in the middle. It is not known for beaches or beach-like shoreline and not advertised as such. The shoreline is rock. It gets very deep very fast. You can most certainly swim from the shoreline and that is what other groups that rent our home do. Many groups also rent a boat or bring their own. You had advised that you were planning a trip to meet in the middle, so our home was a great meeting spot. Your group consisted of 4 adults and 2 babies under the age of 1 and a toddler....so our home was probably not ideal for hanging out on the shoreline as it would be very difficult to carry a baby up and down the stairs. It's unfortunate that a mouse appeared while you were there. As advised we are next to woods. We work hard to keep outside critters outside, but every once in a while, they find their way in, including mice...but it is NOT a common occurrence. We were at the home after your departure and took additional measures to prevent re-occurrence. Yes...I did apologize that we had to move the black stone grill from the back deck. I have also removed the photo that included a picture of it. We had several groups rent the home that could just not take care of it. We will likely replace in the future, with a very simple version that will be easier to take care of and less likely incur damage. We have 2 separate AC/Heating units for our home as it is so large. The nest is a learning unit. We have not listed our home the last 3 years on VRBO due to COVID and just opened it back up this year. We had minimal use of our home the last 3 summers, so when we are not there the AC was adjusted up. The main floor is very large and open with large sliding glass windows facing west...so with the AC kicking up and evening sun, the living area got very warm quickly. I am not sure why Omar did not simply turn down the thermostat as soon as he realized it had gone up. I have since set the thermostat to no longer learn. Thermostats now scheduled to 70
