Ubicada en una hermosa playa amplia, esta casa frente al mar es perfecta para una sola familia. Disfruta de las vistas de los cruceros que salen de la isla de Galveston y los encantadores sonidos de las olas rompiendo. El Capitán Morgan se encuentra en una zona más tranquila de la península, pero no lejos del área central donde se encuentran las tiendas y restaurantes. El Capitán Morgan tiene un gran patio que permite la diversión adecuada de todos los que acomodan las instalaciones. Esta es una propiedad libre de mascotas y es para no fumadores también. Ropa de cama disponible bajo petición con una tarifa. No se permiten grandes reuniones en esta propiedad.

Amazing property, located right by the beach access road, the deck is beautiful with perfect view of the ocean. Decor inside the home is just amazing, me and my children will be visiting this property annually!

There is nothing like watching the ships as they line up to come into Galveston Bay, and to listen to the sound of the waves at night to help you sleep... If you are an early bird, be sure to get up around 30 minutes before the sunrise to watch as the day breaks over the water...

Great house in a great location

I had a wonderful stay. The property was close to local friends and in a great location. Extremely well equiped and very nicely appointed. I will definitely rent this property again when I need some beach time.

Great Location- House was nice but not adequately cleaned when we arrived however we contacted the office and they sent a housekeeper promptly to clean and offered the maintenance to come as well -Office staff was very nice and accommodating

Great house very close to the beach

House it beachfront, although walking to the beach takes time so you might be better off driving. The porch is amazing to sit on for eating and hanging out. The house layout is amazing and was clean. Lots of hot water and the kitchen was well furnished. Would stay again!

We enjoyed our stay except there was a dead roach in frig then we found a live one crawling on our food!!! We killed 3 others crawling around. Other than that……I wish the fact we had to rent linens would have been more visible when booking. I missed it and found out after I was traveling there. Too late to take my own.

It’s just the right size for 6, although we had 5. We had everything we needed to cook with, outdoor furniture to relax on and we paid extra for sheets and towels so we were set. My family has always loved Captain Morgans, but it needs woek.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family has visited Captain Morgans for the past 5 years, taking turns renting it. We love the location, but we feel the owner really needs to do some maintenance/updating. The living room couches needs new cushions, the beds need new mattresses/pillows, the floors are warped and peeling up, the paint on the walls are chipping, the bathtub drains extremely slow, and the shower curtains are old and dirty, the top deck has splinters (my mother-in-law got a huge splinter in her foot that I spent an hour trying to pull all the pieces out of her foot). We feel for the price of over $3,000 per week, they should be able to do this. We will be considering a new vacation property for next year.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our first time to rent a beach house for the week. Captain Morgan was great! It is located in the first row and you could see the water from the deck. What a view! We were fortunate enough that my sister lives there and we borrowed her golf cart for the week. However it is not a long distance to walk. House was super cute and just right for our family. We did purchase the sheets and towels for the week. If you do that you only need your beach towels. There is plenty of dishes and cookware also. Do bring your own toilet paper, paper towels and trash bags. It is a great house and we hope to be back next summer!

Stunning View

The Captain Morgan Beach House has an excellent view, the sunset and neighborhood is exceptional. Not a Fan of the different Mask on the Walls but if you can get past those it's an excellent rental.

Great location but needs a deep clean, especially during COVID

Location is great and views off the deck are amazing. We were visited by the local skunk on two nights (only brief sightings). Things were definitely quieter during the week. House needs a deep cleaning and we spent the first few hours cleaning, especially during COVID. The pet-friendly property status was evident by the pet hair in one of the bedrooms. We were abruptly woken by all the smoke alarms at 3:00 AM due to some at least one battery that needed replacement. Overall, the problems we experienced were minimal and our stay was great. The size was just right for the five of us and having a beachfront property is worth paying a little more. Bring binoculars to watch all the ships and dolphins.

Relaxing

Not much luck fishing from the surf, but enjoyed watching the skunk visiting the yard at dusk each night! Nice house with great view of the gulf.

Beach celebration

We had an overall great stay. There were 8 of us. We were comfortable. We could sit on the deck and look out to the ocean. Great view. The only negative was no linens. We got the linen service and had plenty of towels and sheets. Everything else is provided.
