Beautiful Bay Stay

The house was amazing! It was beautiful and had everything you need to enjoy a long stay! The water was comfortable and fun to fish in, the beach was nice to walk on and the pool was comfortable. We will stay again!

We had a great time during our stay. Only wished we had known that the pool was closed during the days we were there. Other than that, the house had everything we needed. We love the location and will stay again!

Paradise on the Neuse

The home was outstanding and the location was perfect for the R&R my wife and I needed. Great waterfront property with amazing sunrises with a pool, and a dock for fishing and crabbing. I hope to return soon.

Wonderful peaceful time

We had a wonderful vacation. The house was very clean, and anything I needed for meal prep was included in the kitchen. The view is beautiful as well with easy water access. We loved our relaxing week.

Wonderful place!

My family had a wonderful & relaxing stay at this beautiful home on the Neuse River. It is beautifully appointed, open & clean. We loved sitting on the porches, watching the boats, and going into Oriental for dinner. We would love to stay here again. Thank you!

Amazing property and views

Everything was even better than we imagined. The balcony with views over the river was exactly what we wanted and more! The house is well equipped, clean and spacious, could easily accommodate 6 very comfortably. We will be back for sure!

Weekend getaway

The property was great and the view was wonderful. Its very peaceful and relaxing. Only negative thing was the road coming in (Neuse Village Road) is terrible. The potholes on that road need to be fixed. Other than that, we give it 5 stars.

Girls Trip

The property is amazing - very well equipped. We had everything we needed to stay in and enjoy the view and the area. Each of the rooms had multi-prong extension cords with USB ports - such a small but so important in today's device filled world. Plenty of pots/pans for you to cook. Right amount of seating with couches and dinning table. The location and views are remarkable and short drive to downtown Oriental and easy drive to New Bern.

Gorgeous Weekend Retreat!

We stayed here for a girls retreat weekend and it was perfect! Very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for a nice, quiet, relaxing weekend. The beds were all very comfortable and the house was well appointed. The views are amazing and we were lucky to have absolutely beautiful weather, but honestly it would have been great even in the rain. All of us girls thought it would be a great place to return with our families. Beth and team went out of their way to accommodate ahead of time for some of our group that had specific allergy requests and communication with them was easy and with quick responses. All of us added this location to our "list of places we want to stay again!".

We love Neuse #3

Our group stayed 2 nights at Neuse Village #3 and really enjoyed it!! The property is right in front of the neighborhoods pool and also in front of the shared dock! The views from the balcony and porch of the house were absolutely beautiful! The neighborhood is located about 15 minutes from any stores/restaurants but that made it all the more peaceful! The house was clean and well put together upon our arrival and many towels, blankets and pillows were provided for all 6 of us! We loved our stay and can’t wait to book again!

Quiet and Peaceful

We loved our stay in this beautiful and cozy beach themed house. A quiet and peaceful retreat with stunning river views, particularly early in the morning as the sun rises. This was just what we were looking for. It is minutes away from the town of Oriental. We took a wonderful trip back in time with a visit to the Oriental history museum to learn of the town’s beginnings and chat with one of the Oriental resident historians. There’s a nice waterfront to take a short stroll or enjoy the water from the pier. We are looking forward to returning again soon.

Cute place but have some recommendations

We loved this house and it was peaceful but there wasn’t a lot of lighting as you approach and it’s in the back of a wood area. Also upstairs area, kitchen living room etc had no shades or blind so if you wanted privacy up there you’re not getting it. Luckily there wasn’t anyone around but still wouldn’t want someone peeking on my family.

We loved everything about this property. The inside was like a model home. The only thing I would change is not having the plug-in deodorizers. I am highly sensitive to smells so I had to deal with headaches every day even though we unplug them immediately. I would definitely stay here again.

On oasis on the river

My husband, my daughter, and I and a friend had a most wonderful time. The cottage is so well appointed and so beautiful. If you are interested in cooking, you have a fully equipped kitchen with a really pots and pans. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms are clean and lovely and showers are great!! Being able to sit outside, either downstairs on very comfortable chaises or upstairs, looking at the beautiful view made our day! But if you want to be inside, the living room is also incredibly comfortable and you can still see the beautiful view. We would definitely return.

Quiet and Peaceful

If you want to get away for peace and quiet, this is your place to stay. It was easy to get in and get settled. The cottage was perfect for 4 adults. The bedrooms are really nice and are all on the first floor. The kitchen and living room are upstairs with a gorgeous view from the balcony. The furniture was the best at Cottage #3. That's mostly why I chose this cottage. Furniture was very comfortable. Kitchen was stocked with all things you need to cook. It was like a home away from home. We ate on the balcony while we were there. The fishing pier was right in front of this cottage, and we fished for hours! It was really fun. We wanted to go kyacking but we never saw any around or any paddles. They have a little beach area below the rocks where you can go walk and hang out. The town of Oriental is small, but they have some great restaurants and a Piggly Wiggly and it's only 10 minutes away which is very convenient. We grilled out one night on the grill. They do have a pool but never got a chance to use it. Overall, it was a very nice place, and we would go back again!

Beautiful, Peaceful and very relaxing

You would never think that paradise is down this unpaved gravel road, but once you see the sign that says private road you are transported. The units are close together, but they have a shutter that provides privacy while you are enjoying the deck overlooking the Neuse River. Oriental is a cute town about 10 minutes away. The Silo is a great restaurant. You could also choose to head the other way to New Bern which is about 20 minutes from the unit. It's a hot tourist spot. Captain Ratty's was very good. There are some stores as well that you can wander through. Who knew that Pepsi was founded there as well. There is a very small museum as well as an old fashion soda shop that you grab a bite to eat. There were a few kayaks that we saw on the property but we weren't sure if they were up for grabs for everyone or only to specific units. We didn't see any paddles, so we couldn't use them. You can fish off the dock, so bring your pole. I did speak to the rental agency regarding the lack of pool chairs. We were a family of 5 and there were only 4 chairs, so not even enough for my family let alone for the other 7 units that are on the property. We truly enjoyed our time there and we will be back without a doubt.
