This 3 brm House has a full kitchen, laundry, separate dining, lounge, sunroom areas, .off street parking and much more. Whether your skiing Mount Ruapehu, fishing Lake Taupo, hiking various scenic tracks or just wanting to get away, Reel Life has it all.

Location:
A 2 min walk to the Turangi Town Centre gives you shops, bars, restaurants and lots more.
Central location to Ski fields, thermal pools, Taupo City centre, River rafting, fishing, boat ramps, hiking and lots more.

The space
Reel Life has all the comforts of home, warm in winter with a heat pump, log burner with plenty of dry firewood and heaters in the bedrooms. In summer we have air conditioning.
When stuck indoors there are puzzles, games, smart TV, etc to enjoy

Guest access
The house is entirely yours when you rent, no other guests share Reel Life. Keys are held in a coded lock box at the house so late arrivals are OK.

Just fine

The house was only borderline clean but it was comfortable enough. The kitchen was well equipped, check in and out was easy and the location was fairly close to the town centre. Apart from one room, the beds are pretty soft but fine for those that like soft beds.

Family friendly house perfectly located for alpine and water activities

We really enjoyed our stay, and it was a perfect base for our activities for a few days (walking Tongariro and Whakapapa, Lake Taupo etc.) It was an unusually hot day when we arrived, and the whole house had been thoughtfully opened up to cool prior to our arrival. The house was perfectly set up for a family stay, with a family home feel and entertainment (puzzles, games etc.) that worked really well for our kids. The green back garden and quiet location were lovely. There was good parking for a couple of cars, and a very short distance to shops for everything we needed to stock up on during our trip.

Nice and quiet place

The place was nice and quiet, close to all amenities. This is a perfect home away from home for the holidaymakers. The rent is also affordable, however, we saw some cockroach in the bathroom (may require pest control). This was not a big issue since they didn't come to the kitchen. Overall, we enjoyed our holiday. I might come next time because I could not manage to complete Tongariro Alpine Crossing.

Excellent!

Me and my friends had a really good weekend at this place. The beds were perfect, super confy and warm. The fireplace is the best, you can have all the living room heat up in just a few minutes. We will definitely comming back!

Stayed there from 13th to 16th July. This property did not disappoint. Lovely place. The house was clean, very well equipped and instructions on arrival were clear and concise. We had no issues whatsoever. Great for kids. Would definitely recommend this place to use as a base for the surrounding areas. 5 stars from us.

The property was lovely, we really enjoyed our stay here. The house was very cosy and the fire was fantastic to have, especially as our trip was a winter getaway! It had all the kitchen amenities we needed and the house generally was nice and tidy. Would definitely recommend staying here.

We were unhappy at not being informed about need to turn on hot water when arriving. We feel this could be done prior to arrival or emailed to us as these instructions were not obvious for us and left us with no hot water when required. Otherwise in all other respects it was a comfortable house

The location was perfect for a family with children because it was near the Turangi town centre and,

The location was perfect for a family with children because it was near the Turangi town centre and, more importantly, a playground! New World, cafes and other eating places were just 2 blocks away. The house itself is very tidy and homely and the cooking implements allowed us to prepare home cooked meals very easily. We loved the paintings on the walls; apparently the owner painted them herself :) The neighbours were lovely too and entertained our 2 girls while we were cleaning up.
