Great family spot!

Great renovation with open downstairs design and upstairs rain shower was a big hit. Minutes away from beach and downtown!! Will definitely stay again.

Great visit

The house was clean, the bathrooms were spacious, background was beautiful, coach house great for a little space away from the rest of the family.

We really liked the home. It was in a very nice neigborhood. It was very quite! We could walk anywhere we wanted to go. The host was so good to work with. We would stay there again!

A delightful place to stay in CC

This home was thoughtfully renovated with just enough quirkiness and fun. Kudos to the owners. The back yard, too, is most pleasant, and it is in a lovely quiet neighborhood. Everything worked exceedingly well for the four of us; couldn't have been any better. We would definitely consider staying here again.

Comfy and cozy with all the right touches

This property was absolutely wonderful. From the second we walked in it felt like a home away from home. Each item seemed to be chosen to make the property comfortable - the throw blankets in the living room, the well-stocked kitchen, the extra beach essentials in the backyard - we didn't have to worry about a thing! It was one of the most thoughtfully prepared rental places I have ever encountered! I highly recommend the property and would love to return soon.

Great House

We loved this property and thought that it was just as advertised. We loved the big porch for sitting outside. It had everything we needed. The only issue we had was the upstairs was very hot (and one ceiling fan did not work). We didn’t sleep much so be prepared. We also would have loved to seen some type of house manual or book for things such as where to plug-in the golf cart or how to work the Roku. It’s a great space for a small group.

Third trip to Cape Charles

Weather was typical Cape Charles weather and the time spent around town was great. The house was fine. A few small things, there is an open live wire under the TV exposed (hope it's not live), the outlet plug in for the golf cart was broke along the fence in the back yard. It appears the house is currently being renovated. There were some unfinished work on the porch and inside that should have been completed prior to rental. The lot next to the house was cleared all week long causing a lot of loud noise and sawdust all over the place. It prohibited the use of the back deck for the week. However, we understand that this work had to be done and was not required to be coordinated with the adjoing properties, it just made for a lousy week of chainsawing and heavy equipment noise from 8am-5pm every day. The house is very nice and we wished we could have enjoyed all of the updates inside and out. We would gladly rent this property again in the future. We appreciate the rental company and the owners for working with us on the adjoining lot clearing work all week. Thank you very much and we look forward to coming back to Cape Charles soon!

Hi Tim, Thank you for your review. The wires under the TV are not live. We checked with the owners who said the electrician left it there in case they wanted to hard wire a speaker or fan for the fireplace. They will have it covered. The golf cart charging outlet was on the side of the garage. We will incorporate an information sheet for the house going forward. As you are aware, the work being done next door was out of our control. Even so, the owners credited you $150.00 for the inconvenience. We hope you do rent this property again as it is such a great place to stay. Our Best, Cape Charles Vacation Rentals

Place was amazing - back yard was great love this little town

Started off poorly with not being able to access the house when we arrrived into town late. Unfortunately The emergency number provided for the rental company and we spent several hours calling VBRO - which had hour wait times to get connected as well as calling the rental Humber over and over. Finally in the morning - not a second earlier than 8:00 am when the office opened - a gentleman gave us keys. We were refunded the first day and I thought that was fair. Once this hiccup was resolved the rest of the trip was great amd ed forgotten about it - thanks
