Perfect for a quick stay

Perfect for our quick stay. Everything was convenient and clean. Even though it’s on the same side of the street as the water, it was quite a walk to get to the ocean. It might not be suitable for those who are less mobile. Pool was nice and courtyard was relaxing!

Mother/daughter getaway

This was our 2nd time staying at Tropic Terrace. So convenient to everywhere - within walking distance to so much! The description of the room was accurate. However, the bathroom is a bit tight but was fine. Right in the beach, but is a bit of a walk to get to the water. Staff is great & helpful & prompt with responses. Will stay her again for sure!!

Our 10th Anniversary

We had the best time! The area was perfect for the two of us. There were so many things that we could do within walking distance. Yet, it was very laid back and so easy to relax. The other guests there were very nice and always willing to give us advice on what to do in the area. That room was small, but that is not a complaint from us. We enjoyed the closeness we felt being there together. Check-in was a simple email with our access code. Highly recommend staying here!!

Get away

We enjoyed the location and decor was cute. However, We feel that the price should include an upscale bed and towels. We were locked out of our room because the lady changed the code on Friday and never gave us the new code. That was very upsetting til we got the code 30-45 minutes later. I don't feel we will be staying here again.

Clean and cozy

Unit was clean but the bathroom was a little small. Kitchen needed some additional utensils, and the sink needed a small dish strainer. Unit was about 800 feet from the ocean so my wife who has some walking problems never did make it to the beach. The staff was friendly and helpful. Laundry was clean with 2 nice washers and dryers. A gas grill would have been nice other than a unit that needs charcoal and lighter. Pool was clean but could have been a little warmer. Pool area needs more reclining lounge chairs. Parking was good.

Tropic Treasure!

My husband and I stayed in a studio suite for 3 nights. The accommodations were perfect for just the two of us! The bathroom is rather small, but thankfully counter space and a full length mirror outside the bathroom made it easy to get ready simultaneously! The towels were very rough on the skin, but other than that the amenities were great! Bed was very comfortable! Had everything we needed kitchen wise. The proximity to the beach is amazing! Just a short few minute walk with direct access. Beach was not busy at all either visit. The pool was perfect temperature with ample seating. Was never crowded. My only complaint was that we could not find any information on how to rent chairs or umbrellas for the beach. We saw some chairs and umbrellas chained up on the beach straight back from the resort, but just a handwritten sign that said "BEACH RENTALS" with no number or information. Would have spent more time at the beach had we had access to this information. There was no desk attendant over the weekend or in evenings. Great location, with easy walking and driving to everything you'd want to do in the area. Overall, would definitely recommend and will definitely book again my next trip! The "penthouse" looks wonderful!

I would have left if I could have gotten my money back. I was told my rental would have beach chairs, a cooler and an umbrella. None of those items were there. The bathroom in the photo is misleading. My husband has knee and back issues and couldn't hardly get up. You literally have to go out of the bathroom just to pull up your pants. The window ac in the room is not big enough to cool the room and has black mold all in it and we have been coughing since. We contacted the office staff as soon as we got there and they just stopped texting us. Like would not respond to anything else. And I talked to the woman at the desk and she said u can leave but you are not getting a refund. All of the other hotels on the beach have nice chairs, hammocks, activities, or nice areas to socialize. Tropic Terrace has a old grill that is under a low hanging (is in desperate need of trimming) palms and a shuffle board area that floods every time it rains. The lobby STUNK. Like almost made me throw up. Someone kept turning off the ice machine so no one could use it.
