The beach is only a few steps away. The pool area was very nice. Our 3 bedroom/3 bath condo was roomy and comfortable. This is a great family vacation destination.

We stayed at the Captain’s Walk. The condo was very clean and beautiful. It’s right on the beach. We will return again!

Captains Walk stay

We love Hilton Head and Palmetto Dunes is one of our top places to stay. Condo had great location; wish we had more of a view but we knew it was only partial when we booked. Unit is spacious, beds comfortable, and nice that each bedroom has its own bathroom. We did pass along some feedback for the owners as far as kitchen items that needed replaced.

Fantastic location

The condo is perfectly located near the beach, the General Store, pickle-ball courts, and restaurants. The unit layout is perfect for a family, and it's a very easy walk out to the beach. The beautiful Omni beach front bar and restaurant are a very short walk away. Our property manager was very responsive and the check-in process was easy.

Worked great for our group. No issues. Would rent again. The location was perfect with the beach and pool only steps away. Manager was available with just a text anytime I had a question. Would highly recommend.

Perfect Weekend Retreat

The location was great - beach and pool are truly steps away. The condo was very spacious for our group (4 adults and 4 children) and the bunk room was perfect for the kids. Meagan (our contact) was very attentive and helpful to address very minor issues. The condo was clean and well stocked with needed items. The island was great and condo is conveniently located to restaurants, Kroger, etc. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Yes we had a great stay. The condo was very nice, well-equipped, close to the beach. The main negative was the mattress on the master bed is so sloped on one side that it truly isn’t sleepable. You feel like you are rolling off the bed all night.

Aww the sound of the ocean

We could see the ocean a little since it was on the first floor. Our view was lovely looking out at the dunes. There were 6 of us and we were very comfortable. The kitchen was well supplied with cleaning stuff. The table was great for cards. In all fabulous time. Convenient to everything

Fun family vaca

The location is perfect!!! Beach and pool steps away! The condo could use a good deep clean and the mattress in the master bedroom needs to be replaced. It sags to one side and is uncomfortable. Our contact person- Meagan- was wonderful from the start of the trip to the end. She is very attentive and helpful. HHI is beautiful and we will definitely be returning .

Great Location!

We enjoyed our stay at Captains Walk and really loved the location and proximity to the beach. Loved the layout of the condo, beds were comfy, kitchen well equipped, and the place is very spacious!Only complaint is the A/C....the unit uses a "nest" which is not controlled by us (the renter). It was too warm in the condo at night, the owner controlled the temp and set it at 77 degrees for sleeping - much too warm for us. We were not able to override it - despite complaints to property manager. Did not like that we had no control over the thermostat all week so will not rent here again..

HHI family girls trip

Our contact Meaghen, was great. She's got our passes since we had such a hard time at PASS window trying to get us all in, even after giving info they asked for and said all that was needed. Very frustrating but Meaghan pulled is through it all. Everything was great at condo, except one of the king beds was very uncomfortable and was hard to even sleep on one side- not sure what was wrong but you felt like you were going to roll off. Other than the bed issue, all was great and very convenient for beach days. Would recommend starting here.

Perfect location to unwind

We ended up booking this condo after our penthouse unit at Ocean One was canceled on us due to unexpected maintenance. Quiet end unit close enough to the pool and beach but just far enough away to be away from all the traffic of those areas. The condo itself is set up great and overall the beds were comfortable. It is at the point it needs a fresh coat of paint but that isn’t to overall distracting. It was equipped with all the needed essentials and the primary shower had great pressure. We had deer visit the dunes in front of the condo on two occasions. We arrived early and were allowed to drop our stuff until our primary contact had a chance to inspect the cleaning and verify it was ready for our stay. She made sure it was perfect. We were worried we were 5miles too far north from the main area we wanted to be located at but were pleased with the amenities near this location. Everything is located in the community for rentals and they will bring your items right to the condo. Would stay here again.

The property is in a great location. The villa itself was clean and nice. The outside porch was full of sand, including the chairs, bar table, rug, and stools that had not been cleaned. I had to sweep the porch and clean off everything that was outside. The beach toys were full of sand and left on the porch. I reached out to the property manager, who said the cleaning people couldn't clean outside due to a storm; although we were driving in HHI for an hour in traffic; there was no sign of a storm or rain. After paying a lot of money for 3 nights, I didn't expect to clean after driving 3-4hrs. The villa is very nice but the back bedroom has a queen bed that feels like a brick. It's awful to sleep on. The air conditioner is also hard to adjust at first and there is a set temperature and it is very hot during the night. Also, the listing said that the villa came with spices. Salt and Pepper is the only spice. Also, by the pictures it looks like you can see the pool from the villa; you can not. I thought I would be close to the pool to watch the kids from the villa. I will not be coming back to this villa but maybe another one in Captains Walk.

Our cleaning team was indeed delayed by a storm on the day of your check-in, which prevented them from cleaning the outdoor area thoroughly. We understand how inconvenient this must have been after your long drive and we will ensure better communication and follow-up in similar situations in the future.-The mattress in the back bedroom is less than a year old and is a medium plush model with over 76,000 reviews averaging 4.5 stars on Amazon. We understand that mattress comfort can be subjective, and we are sorry it did not meet your personal preference. We will look into providing additional options, such as mattress toppers, to accommodate different comfort needs.-We appreciate your feedback on the thermostat. We have found that guest temperature preferences can also be quite subjective and have tried to adjust accordingly. We provide instructions for adjusting the Google Nest thermostat but understand that it can be tricky. We will work on simplifying these instructions to make it easier for future guests to manage the day and night settings.-We apologize for any misunderstanding regarding the spices. We were unable to find any references to spices in our listing, and we are sorry for any confusion this may have caused. We will review our listing to ensure that all amenities are clearly communicated.-We regret that the pool location did not meet your expectations. The caption under the pool picture reads "Community Amenities," no other pictures from within the condo show the pool. We will strive to make this clearer to avoid any future misunderstandings.We appreciate your honest feedback as it helps us improve our property and guest experience. We hope you consider giving us another chance in the future. If you decide to visit Captains Walk again, we would be more than happy to accommodate you in any way we can.
