Esta es una rara Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Villa - una historia de tres caminan hacia fuera, en la playa. Esta villa cuenta con 3 amplios dormitorios, y 4 baños completos, además de un gran espacio de vida para 12 personas, con capacidad para 2 familias fácilmente. La sala de estar tiene un 50 "pantalla plana T. V. Enjoyed a five night stay here for Fall break- end of summer with my daughters and 5 grands. Condo is perfect, plenty of comfortable beds for everyone, view of ocean and shrimpboats passing by, minute to pool and maybe two to the beautifulbeach. Had dinner at the Dunes House one night and able to hear a few nights of nice music from there as well. Well stocked kitchen, beach chairs, toys and towels. Cindy was great to deal with, it was perfect! For sure I would rent again

This property is easy access to the beach! It also makes great use of the available space with plenty of storage and we didn’t feel like we were on top of each other. One important note: the only access to the main floor and master bedroom is via circular stairs. I was a bit nervous that my kids would get hurt on the stairs (but they were careful and we had no incidents). I would also caution when traveling with anyone with limited mobility.

We had a few minor issues with bugs (2 cockroaches) and overall cleanliness but the villa was in a great location and those cleanliness issues could be overlooked. I do recommend redoing the caulking in all bathrooms and upgrading the knobs on all the bathtubs but no major complaints overall. Host was very nice and quick to respond. The villa itself had everything we needed for our beach stay (toys, chairs, towels, umbrellas/canopies) and the kitchen was well stocked with pots/pans/utensils. Spiral staircases were a bit scary but more of a personal preference than an issue.

While the tropical climate can bring the occasional bug, our regular pest control keeps things well managed — and I’m glad the treatments were working (cockroaches were dead). I appreciate your suggestions on the bathrooms and will work to update fixtures and redoing the caulking to keep everything fresh. If you’re familiar with the area then you know the location of this villa can’t be beat. Easy access to the beach, pool and of course Dunes House. Beds were comfortable and appreciate the TV’s in each room, was helpful for the kids. Villa was clean and had plenty of room for all of us. Looking forward to next year!!

Perfect Villa for a Family Vacation

We were looking for places to stay close to the beach but affordable and came across this villa. It was perfect for us. Although a little dated, it had exactly what we needed and was super convenient to everything (the beach, general store, Dune’s House). It was also the perfect size for our party of 7 without being crowded. We loved the spiral staircase and the view from the back balcony. Would definitely stay here again!!!

Family Vacation

Loved being so close to the ocean…. Very short walk. And the view from the porch was amazing!! All 10 of us, adults and kids, loved the condo. The size of bedrooms were large enough for each family to have their own space with out be crowded!

Awesome view and location to the beach

We stayed 1/5-2/6. The view and location to the beach cannot get much better. Beautiful sunrise and could hear the waves at night. Kendra was very responsive. Also, right across the street from Shelter Cove. Gated community. Very enjoyable!

Beautiful Ocean view!

This is a perfect place for a family beach vacation. Beds were comfy, kitchen had what we needed and there was a beautiful view of the ocean from the balcony. I drank coffee while watching a beautiful sunrise from the balcony every day of our stay. If you are looking for the newest upscale finishes in every room, this might not be the place for you, but if you are looking for a clean, comfortable, roomy place to have a fabulous family beach vacation this place was just perfect.

Delightfull week

My family and I really enjoyed staying in this villa. The villa is very nice and very well located and equipped ! It has all the summer things you can wish for your enjoyment ! Bikes, paddle boards, beach chairs !!! The view is beautiful and the children had a blast! Truly a great vacation ! Thank you !

Another great trip!!!

Once again we had a fabulous time here! This is the second time we have stayed at this villa (2 years back to back) and will definitely be staying again. You can’t beat the proximity to the beach, pool, and Dunes House Cafe. And it’s just a short bike ride/walk to the Tennis/Pickleball courts and General Store. The villa itself has everything you would need for a beach vacation and if you have any issues at all, Kendra is so easy to get in touch with! I 100% recommend this property!

HHI family beach vacation

It was such a great surprise how beautiful the area was. Regular landscapers & garbage pick up. Literally steps from a wonderful Dunes bar & restaurant, the boardwalk and right out to the beach. Had a few altercations because of the spiral steps with small children. Always stayed in Palmetto Dunes & this larger space was a great find

Summer vacay

The location can’t be beat! To be steps away from the beach and the pool was amazing. The property is older but that didn’t bother us. My only complaint was having to pack beach towels. Would be nice to have those on the property. Kendra was easy to get a hold of and responsive which we appreciated. We’d love to come back to Hilton Head. It was beautiful, clean and family friendly.

Family vacation in beach villa 9

Overall, our family had a beautiful vacation, there were some pros and cons to the villa. PROS: -Proximity to the beach and pool cannot be beat -Free bikes, chairs, beach toys -Lots of space for our group of 11 -Balconies to see the breathtaking view -Washer and dryer were awesome -Owner very friendly and easy to work with CONS: -Not the cleanest -Bathrooms and kitchen could be updated -Carpeting on the stairs need replaced -Grill was filthy and started a grease fire once we turned it on -Although we were in a great location, it was very busy by the Dunes House, cars would block our way to the beach

Thank you for your review. Your PROS listed many of our favorite things about our villa. I also like how close we are the tennis courts and General Store - walkable. We will talk to the cleaning crew and address the grill maintenance. Yes, the bathrooms and kitchen could use an update, but that would increase our rental rates. This spring we updated the kitchen sink, faucets in each bathroom and purchased a new sofa. The carpet on the stairs is tough to keep clean. It is only two years old, and we have it cleaned at the start and end of each rental season. Happy to discuss any of these concerns with anyone.

fantastic beach front holiday

the entire family loved the location of the villa to the beach and pool - both of which we enjoyed many days and evenings we loved dining on the patio while taking advantage of the live entertainment at the adjacent beach club the first floor laundry made it simple to wash beach wear and towels without having to drag through the entire unit the views to the beach were enjoyable on all three levels, but especially from the second and third floors we were well advised in advance of the circular stairways and they didn't create any problems for us (including adults - 70's, 60's, 38's, and kids - 9 and 5) although located near an active driveway/beach access/restaurant - the villa was quiet and except for the ocassional garbage pick-up next door we were never disturbed by noise garbage pick up from the villa was reliable and well organized the assigned parking space made returns from shopping comfortable and convenient the unit was clean and bug free during our visit - interior in need of some minor touch-ups and exterior of all units could use some cleaning/painting - but none of that impacted our enjoyment all beds were comfortable with clean linens bathrooms small but fully functional kitchen well supplied we brought our own beach chairs/toys/carrier - but the unit was supplied with all such items for use by renters access to the unit is simple palmetto dunes location reduces travel to good restaurants that we have experienced in the when staying in sea pines
