Grandview Drive will be reconstructed staring in April. It will be a new road staring from Hwy. 60 all the way to the top of the road. We will also have a new concrete sidewalk alongside the whole stretch of the road along with new street lamps and tree planting along the road.

Hi Tracey, I am a little perplexed at your negative review. We have had our condo on STR platforms (Airbnb/Vrbo) since 2019 and we have had over 200 reviews from guests and we are proud to maintain a 5.0 star rating. We are Super Hosts on Airbnb and Premier Hosts on Vrbo. The 'small' swim dock that you refer to is 15 feet wide and 40' long (600 sq.ft.) and typically on any given day there are only a few people on this dock and especially during the week there is no one on there. In addition, no where does it say on our listing amenities that paddle boards, canoes, and/or kayaks are for use for our guests. These recreational crafts are owned by the owners of the condo complex and that is why if you noticed carefully they are all locked up. Since 2019 we have provided our guests with eco friendly wood burning logs. I have never in 4 years had anyone (over 200 guests) ever complain about not being able to light a fire log. Very simple instructions on the package and it even shows you where to place the flame (lighter) to get it started. With respect to the Cogeco tv, again in 4 years and over 200 guest stays I have never received a complaint on how to use the tv converter, WIFI internet or the like. I did respond to your e-mail to give you instructions on how to access the regular tv channels and how to achieve this with the 2 converters. One converter is for the tv and the other is the Cogeco converter that allows you to access regular cable channels like local news and sports. It is very simple and and not complicated at all. I do apologize, however, that I missed your e-mail with respect to calling you to walk you through the process. There is a hiking trail on the Grandview property that is 2km in length and is considered a moderately challenging route. There are a number of local trails, i.e. Arrowhead Provincial Park (12 min. drive ), Limberlost Nature Reserve (15 min. drive) and of course Algonquin Provincial Park., and at Deerhurst Resort (7 min drive).All are in close vicinity of our condo at Grandview. I would highly suggest you download the "All Trails" app on your phone for future reference. All Trails will provide you with all the walking trails wherever you are in North America. It provides you with a map of the trail, difficulty, length of trail, and sights you should pay attention to. We have had guests stay with us from all parts of the world, China, Japan, UK, Italy, US , Canada etc. and they all loved their stay with us.
