Comfortable space!!!

This trip exceeded my expectations in the best way. Everything felt just right, from how clean the place was, to the comfortable space, to the warm and thoughtful welcome from the host. I’d definitely recommend staying here if you need a peaceful getaway to recharge after stressful days.

The block felt safe and well kept, light traffic and steady streetlights made evening walks relaxing. The host and team were friendly, responsive, and attentive, small thoughtful touches made us feel welcome. We left happy, rested, and ready to return.

From the start, the staff and host were warm, friendly, and quick to help whenever we had a question. The home was well equipped with everything we needed, which made settling in easy and stress free. The atmosphere was peaceful and calm, ideal for slowing down and changing the routine. It truly felt like a refreshing escape while still feeling familiar and cozy. We left feeling happy, relaxed, and ready to come back.

Family Friendly

We loved how thoughtfully equipped the kitchen was, from sturdy pots to a dependable coffee maker and neatly labeled basics. Fresh towels and crisp linens added hotel level comfort. The living areas breathed with natural light and stayed quiet in the evening. Dickson Way felt safe and uncluttered, with steady streetlights and space to park by the curb. The host checked in kindly without intruding, offered local tips, and made sure we had everything we needed for a restful visit.

Not Worth the Money

When I first booked the property it seems it's listed as a whole house but it's not. I've stayed at houses before where there are other guests with no issues. There is not any soundproofing and if you are in the basement you can literally hear everything upstairs. The property was less than clean and there was a substantial amount of water damage in the bathroom and laundry room. Trash was present in the trashcans from whomever stayed there before us, this seriously makes me question the overall cleanliness. Cockroaches were also present in the kitchen. Once reported the morning after check in, I never heard anything back, not even an apology. There was not hand towels, kitchen towels, wash clothes, or a hair dryer.

Not at all as described

Only decent things I can say about the property is that the linens were clean, there was a backyard for our dogs and we were able to bring all 3. Whoever took the pictures of the property did an amazing job of disguising how horrible it really was. You have to enter through the backyard (took a bit to figure out because there were no signs or instructions with the check-in info). The first room you enter is the kitchen which is the size of a small walk-in closet. There is absolutely no table or chairs or anywhere to sit in the kitchen. You have to go down 4 steep cement stairs to enter the rest of the property. The floor looked like it was mopped with dirty water, the bathroom was tiny, with no outlets, no towel bars/holders, no hand towels or washcloths, no body wash and I had to use Clorox wipes (that we brought with us) to wipe the bottom of the shower floor because it was filthy. The bedrooms had no furniture besides the bed and one tiny nightstand. Finally tye laundry area was scary. There was a light hanging from the unfinished ceiling with exposed wires, the water heater was leaking and you could see all of the exposed piping and electrical wires. If we could’ve found somewhere else to stay with our dogs I would not have stayed at all and requested a refund. It was horrible.

We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:- We're sorry to hear the property didn’t meet your expectations. To clarify, the entry instructions include the option to access through the garage, where the number of the house is clearly posted.- The water heater you mentioned is functioning properly, and the "leak" you referenced is simply the water softener draining as intended, but we're sorry that this caused you any concern.- The light in the laundry area is a standard hanging fixture, and seating is available in the living room for your convenience. That said, we will address your concerns with the cleaning team to ensure a more thorough job and will continue making upgrades to improve the space.We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.
