Escape to our newly renovated lakefront paradise, where you can soak up the sun, swim and float, and fish to your heart's content. With a whopping seven bedrooms and four full baths, there's plenty of room for everyone. And with three full-sized refrigerators - one on each floor and one at the dock bar - you'll never run out of cold drinks and snacks.

Step out onto the Trex walkway and make your way to the boathouse, where you'll find one of the largest docks on the lake. The favorite spot is always the dock bar, where you'll find a full-sized refrigerator/freezer, a TV, and plenty of seating. We've also provided two kayaks and two stand-up paddle boards for your enjoyment. Just remember to bring your life jackets! If you have a boat, you'll be pleased to know that the boathouse has two open slips to keep your vessel dry and safe.

When it comes to cooking, you'll be spoiled for choice with two full kitchens - one on each floor. Both kitchens are stocked with all the cooking and eating essentials you'll need, including two brand new stoves, two coffee makers (one regular, one Keurig), three toasters, and all the pots, pans, and utensils you could possibly need. There's also a Weber gas grill on the lower patio, as well as two dining areas and plenty of seating.

After a day on the lake, come inside and kick back. Play pool, board games, and puzzles. Or head out to the screened porch and relax with a drink and a good book.With high-speed Starlink internet and three TVs, you'll stay connected and entertained during your stay.

Please read - cleaning issues. This is a difficult review to write. A beautifully spacious home with all the room we needed for our annual 4 generation weekend; however, It was very disappointing to have maintenance, cleaning and kitchen supply issues. The cleaning issues are mentioned in other reviews over the last few years and apparently have not been resolved. A couple cleaning issues are mentioned in August 2025 reviews . The host responded when we contacted them about cleaning but after the host “cleaned” again, the bathroom toilet areas were still not clean., baseboards needed wiped down and stairs had dust and food in living room furniture. The Trundle bed mattress needs to be replaced. Having two kitchens was awesome but no can openers and only one toaster for two kitchens. There are plenty of dishes and pots and pans. The washer and dryer both need repairs. The dock area is spacious with large seating areas to accommodate a large number of people very comfortably. We did bring wave runners and the dock had 2 lifts but one of the lifts was not useable. The paddle boards are not useable, they are waterlogged. The house is great for large families and suited our 14 people well just be aware of these issues and come prepared. For the amount paid for this rental we expected a home in tip top shape, all things to be in good working order and things to be cleaned professionally. This was disappointing for such a beautiful home and dock with a great location.

The house was a great size. The house and outside furniture and porches could use a deep deep cleaning. Bathrooms need upgrades. None of the bathrooms had a walk-in shower. There was no problem with communication with the hostess. It was our first experience vacationing at a lake. Lots of water fun!

The house was very dirty. There was hair in both of the bathtubs, and dirt on the floor under the plunger. The area rug was not vacuumed ( food left on the floor from previous renters ). The dock was nice . For the amount we paid to rent the property for a week we expected more .

Our stay was a 5 star for it's size to handle 13 adults, it's location, and it's excellent ability to support sunbathing, swimming, fishing, boating, kayaking, and paddle boarding. On-site parking for 6 vehicles. The overall rating is reduced due to cleanliness and required maintenance issues.

Excellent dock and cove

The highlight was definitely the spacious dock with a private cove that had deep water to swim. We spent a lot of time on the large screened in porch- nice addition to keep the bugs away!However the house needed a good thorough cleaning(baseboards, sliding door tracks, wall and floor behind the kitchen trash can)) Felt like maybe the cleaners were in a rush?Owner was very accommodating and responsiveFireworks display inside the cove on the 4th were fantastic and then the next night on the main lake we were able to see the Eaton Ferry display by boat
Released it for someone else to catch!

Family gathering

The property was beautiful! Easy check-in, great communication with host, breathtaking views! The dock was the highlight of everyone’s trip. We did rent a pontoon boat from the nearby marina and that was excellent as well! Highly recommend!

Family Vacation

We enjoyed many aspects of the property during our stay, but we did encounter a few issues that could be improved for future guests. We found bugs and cobwebs in the corners of several rooms, closets, and behind doors. Additionally, please update the boat dock pictures, as they currently show functional boat lifts, which were either broken or missing during our visit.

Lake trip

Really enjoyed our stay. Lake and dock were amazing. Kitchen was very well stocked. Nice to have 2 refrigerators since we were cooking for the week. We would definitely stay here again.

Great extended family getaway!

This home was just about perfect for our family’s needs, with 7 bedrooms to accommodate our large group and a gorgeous yard and dock space for our outdoor relaxing and activities. The only thing we would have liked was an indoor dining space for everyone, there are only bar stools inside for eating, otherwise all dining is outside. Thankfully, we had beautiful weather!

Family Get Together

We are an extended family of 13 adults, some of us who had not seen each other in over 40 years. We were looking for a place where we could relax and have gathering areas where we could chat and reconnect. This house was perfect. It had plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms where we each had our own personal spaces but plenty of indoor and outdoor spaces that comfortably fit all of us for meals and chatting. Everything was very clean, nicely decorated, and both kitchens were well appointed. There were several coffee pots for a large group.The dock had a perfect area with lots of seating where we could enjoy being next to the water. Some in our group used the paddle boards and kayaks. Tammy, the property manager, kept me well informed and gave me contact info if I needed it. The check in was easy and check out duties were quick and easy too. Overall, it was the perfect place and I would definitely stay there again.

Great Gathering place for family outing

Booked for Thanksgiving week and was perfect for a family get together. Lots of sleeping space and two kitchens were great for a large group. View of the lake was beautiful. Would definitely come again.

Left Disappointed

Great location, spacious dock, severely lacked basic cleanliness. There were 2 decomposing mice in sticky traps in the half bath off kitchen when we arrived.Inside & outside of kitchen cabinets were filthy. There were no empty cabinets in the kitchen to store food, There was a cabinet across from the toilet in the adjoining half bath. Given the mouse droppings &dead mice we kept our food on the counters in boxes. The toaster was stored on an open cart in the half bath, across from the toilet. The floors, corners & door tracks were extremely dirty and with an excess of dead bugs. An orange sticky substance had been spilled in several places on the staircase and not cleaned. Air vents were very dusty & blackish in color.The vent in the downstairs bathroom had paint bubbled around it &dripped water occasionally onto your head. Inside the toilets were black from day 1. Mold? Shower curtains were covered in soap scum & mold. 3 of our family members developed respiratory issues the first day that disappeared when we left. We contacted the owner when we arrived. Very apologetic, &said the toilets do that and that she had an exterminator in before we came which explained the dead bugs. Not sure what her expectation was for us to do about the decomposing mice. We disposed of them. Reached out to the owner at the end of visit requested partial refund of ancillary fees. Owner apologetic but declined any refunds, clearly not interested in compensating us. Won’t rent again.

Amazing vacation at LGK

Our family just got back from a fantastic week at Lake Gaston. This property worked perfectly for our group of 12 (which included 3 generations of family). The two kitchens were clutch, amazing location, lovely dock, great bedroom options … it was 5 stars all around. Tammy was also highly responsive and helpful. We’d love to re-book for future LGK vacations!

Great Family Vaca 2023

Our 3 generation family found this house absolutely fantastic! 5 stars hands down with cleanliness upon arrival, fully stocked kitchens, comfortable beds, and for sure one of the best docks around Lake Gaston! (boat space and jet ski lifts provided) Nice community and located near restaurants and grocery store. Can't say enough about our host Tammy. She was so helpful with any questions we had before going, during and after our stay. Highly recommend this home at Lake Gaston. Susan H

Wonderful Stay

We enjoyed our stay and would rent this home again. The dock is a highlight! It was clean with plenty of room for a boat, jet ski, paddle boards, kyaks...all the toys, along with a huge wonderful swing. The dock offers significant shade and sunny areas along with a nice step-down, making it very easy to launch paddle boards, kyaks, etc. We enjoyed the sunsets from both the dock and lower and upper porches. The dual kitchens we're ideal for a large group, and both are fully stocked with everything needed. If you enjoy fireworks, this was an ideal stay for the 4th of July; we had a perfect view of them from the dock/ porches.
