The Space:
The enviable location is just perfect and a nice easy walk (15 mins or less) to a choice of metro stations. Furnished from top to toe with high quality furnishings, linens and towels, we have thought of everything to try and make your stay the perfect home away from home experience.

Our apartment has 2 bedrooms each with a queen bed and a lovely new queen sofa-bed in the living space, providing comfortable sleeping for a family or group of up to 6 people.  The bathroom (accessible by all from the hallway) is beautiful with a walk in shower and plenty of space. A full kitchen with everything needed for your stay should you wish to relax and cook at home after a long day seeing the sights. Plenty of seating too with a comfortable breakfast bar area and a dining table in the bay window. For travelers on business there is a cute desk area with strong WiFI, making this is a great work from home space should you need it. 

If you'd like to get your day off to a great start you are also welcome to enjoy your cuppa on the shared patio set at the front of the house!

Stroll the delights of the Capitol Hill neighborhood and of course the Nations Capitol and Mall are right on your doorstep. If you want a fabulous location and space to relax with all your creature comforts, this beautiful apartment in the Capitol Hill neighborhood is for you!

On street parking is included by use of a parking permit - a rarity in D.C.!

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the entire english basement apartment!

There is a family living upstairs. Please note that the everyday sounds and noises of family life (footsteps, stairs, kids playing, etc.) can be heard in both directions. You will undoubtedly hear them (and they will hear you) as they go about their everyday life.

Please be aware that there is a small patio at the front of the apartment included with the rental, but the backyard is NOT included for guest use.

The Neighborhood:
Location, location, location! Stay here and be nestled in the historic Capitol Hill neighborhood, on a lovely tree lined street close to everything! In 10 minutes you're at the doors of the Supreme Court of the United States and the Library of Congress! A 13 minute stroll to 3 metro stations; Eastern Market, Capitol South, and Union Station. The Capitol building, the US House of Representatives and so much more! Buses and trolleys teem the area for those needing a break from exploring on foot! Lyft and Uber rides are plentiful and bike shares too. 

Pennsylvania Avenue is surrounded by some of the most iconic restaurants in DC!  A short walk from the home is the Eastern Market;  DC's original and premier food & arts market, the market is DC's destination for fresh food, community events, and on weekends it comes alive with local farm-fresh produce and handmade art and craft stalls and a flea market.

Getting Around:
You can walk to everything but there are lots of nearby buses, (DC Trolley, DC Streetcar and Metro buses)  and more options for direct metro access from the 3 nearby metro stations. We provide coupon codes for Uber which along with Lyft are plentiful! Capital Bikeshare also has bikes to rent by the hour.
