Payments collected by The Wanderlust Co are secure. Your payment will be handled safely during your course of business with us. Payments are powered by Stripe, are Safe and Secure SSL Encrypted. We accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express. We only accept payments in U.S. currency.
Rental Fee: 100% of the reservation will be charged to your payment method at booking confirmation.
Cancelation Policy: Bookings canceled at least 30 days before check in will receive a 100% refund minus a nonrefundable 3% charge to cover credit/debit card processing fees. Bookings canceled at least 14 days before check in will receive a 50% refund minus a nonrefundable 3% charge to cover credit/debit card processing fees. No refunds will be processed within 14 days of check in.
Pre-Check In Requirements: As a professional vacation rental company, we do require our guests to upload an acceptable government-issued photo ID for additional identity verification and sign our terms & conditions agreement on our guest portal, which is where you will be able to view your check in instructions upon completion of pre-check-in requirements. If you are booking a reservation for someone other than yourself, we do need the contact information of the guest(s) who will be staying at the property.

Great stay
Fantastic property on a dead end street. Great views of the lake. Outdoor patios were great places to relax after a long day. Pool was not functional, but managers were responsive and sent pool company out -1-2 hours after receiving text. Check process hampered by portal being down- a little stressful but Taylor with the management team was completely accessible and assured us we’d have a place to stay- and we did….

Million Dollar View with Gorgeous Sprawling Home
What a gorgeous property. We couldn't get over the million dollar view, it's just stunning.
The interesting layout of the house was great, the updated interior, the view from the 2nd story suite, the art on the walls and the whimsical art pieces throughout were so appreciated by everyone in our party.
The beds were super comfy like an expensive hotel.
We did encounter some issues with the pool not being cleaned from previous storms but the owner was on it immediately and had the pool techs out to clean everything up quickly. Our kids loved that area.
Do yourself a favor and consider this exquisite yet unpretentious home on Beaver Lake. And that's just it, it felt like home.

Decent stay but will not go back
Overall, the house was nice, but the entire experience was not worth the money.
Pros:
-Home was clean
-Layout was nice
-Bed was comfortable
Cons:
-Check-in was confusing – two sets of instructions
-Hot water stopped working the first night & we spent the next morning troubleshooting the issue with the handyman (owners did not respond via VRBO)
-Livingroom rug was torn in a few spots
-Outdoor patio furniture was dirty
-Screened in porch was in very poor condition which included many portions of the screens detached and torn
-Pool filter was EXTREMELY noisy, making the time spent outdoors not very relaxing.
-Poor communication with owners. We sent them pictures of the screened in porch and dirty outdoor furniture (at their request) - No response at all.
A day after we checked out, they sent an email wanting to see if we enjoyed our visit. The owners stated they knew about the damage to the screened in porch and other maintenance issues, attributed it to a tornado and have had maintenance/repairs scheduled.
We felt deceived because they knew of the damage and neglected to share any of that with us. Had we known, we certainly wouldn't have spent almost $2000.00 for 3 nights at this house.
