We appreciate this guest's candid feedback. This property unfortunately does not have a lockbox, or a place to put a lockbox, something our company is currently working hard to address with the HOA company. To ensure prompt access upon arrival, we mail a key to our guests one week prior to their visit. As a failsafe, we do have the option to send guests to the front desk for a backup key. This guest did lose his key, but they were able to quickly access the condo once we were alerted and communicated this to the front desk.

Future guests can feel confident that we are responsive and committed to resolving any issues as quickly as possible to ensure a smooth stay. For arrival, we provide detailed check-in instructions and have backup systems in place. In this case, while there was an issue with the primary lockbox, access was still able to be provided right away via a secondary option, and our team worked to deliver additional keys promptly. The condo itself is accurately represented in the listing and photos, including its top-floor location, layout, and natural light. The large windows and balcony provide great views of the ski area, and while this can bring in warmth during sunny periods, guests can manage comfort by adjusting airflow with the sliding door. Regarding supplies, we do provide an initial set of linens and towels, and additional items are available upon request. In this instance, housekeeping was dispatched to deliver more during the stay. Overall, this home continues to be a great option for guests seeking a well-located, comfortable condo with easy access to the slopes, amenities, and everything in the Steamboat base area.

Thank you for your feedback. We’d like to provide some additional context for future guests. Prior to arrival, we proactively communicated a backup access plan in the event the mailed key did not arrive in time, which ensured there was always a way to enter the property. Upon arrival, access was available via the lockbox as outlined. During the stay, additional keys were requested, and while there were delays working with the building’s front desk to issue more (as they control keycard creation), our team coordinated delivery as soon as they were made available. When a keycard issue was later reported, we immediately provided alternative access instructions so entry to the unit was not interrupted. For future guests, it’s important to know that keycards and access to amenities like ski lockers and pool areas are managed by the HOA/building, and occasionally require coordination with on-site staff. That said, our team remains actively involved and responsive throughout the process to ensure guests have access and support. This condo continues to be a highly sought-after property thanks to its true ski-in/walk-out location, strong amenities, and beautiful views. We remain committed to clear communication and quick solutions to ensure a smooth and enjoyable stay.
