John Alvin's is your perfect retreat for rest, relaxation, and unforgettable memories. From the moment you step inside, you'll be embraced by the cozy, inviting atmosphere that our cottage offers.

Unwind in the newly added hot tub, gather around the firepit for cozy evenings, dine al fresco, or take a leisurely stroll to Wellington Beach—where the crystal-clear waters will make you feel like you've stepped into the Caribbean.

With its original hardwood floors and four charming bedrooms, this beautiful cottage provides the ideal escape, offering a peaceful sanctuary for both relaxation and rejuvenation.

John Alvin's is a generous multi-level home featuring 4 bedrooms, 5 beds, and 2.5 bathrooms. The open-concept living, dining, and kitchen area creates a bright and welcoming space, complemented by a convenient laundry room.

Outside, you'll find a charming front porch—perfect for sipping your morning coffee—along with a new spacious deck, hot tub, pergola and a large grassy backyard. There's also a cozy firepit area, ideal for roasting marshmallows and enjoying some stargazing.

The entire property inside and out is yours to enjoy. Parking is available in the driveway only.

The house is self-check-in so you can come and go as you please within the check-in and check-out time frames using the door code provided to you. We will not intrude on your getaway, however, should you find yourself in need of something, please do not hesitate to contact us.

The house is lovely. The beds wwre comfortable, everything was clean and the kitchen is well stocked with cooking supplies (except for anything food related...you need to bring all the basics because those were not supplied).

Everything was perfect , the house was near all the wineries we were visiting that weekend. Walking distance to restaurants and the cutest Italian cafe.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Would recommend for a family. The large backyard was nice for the kids to play in. Walking distance into town as well.

Great Stay

Property was the perfect size for 8 adults. Very clean and had everything we needed. Perfect walking distance into Wellington and close to lots of amenities. Host was very responsive.

Great home, well located and clean. Responsive host that was easy to discuss with. Good size place, nice jacuzzi, barbecue worked well. Firepit and free wood was nice for evenings. I also appreciated having the parks pass. The guest handbook was also super clear and easy to follow/understand. The kitchen was well equipped. All and all great experience Two minor things I shared with the host were a stove burner that didn’t work and 2 frying pans that were left still very dirty in the cupbord by previous guests. I suggested that the cleaning staff should check to ensure everything is clean, even in drawers and cupbords as it’s not fun to have to wash other peoples dirty stuff when you’re starting your vacation somewhere and unfortunately, you unfortunately can’t always count on guests to be mindful of others.. Not the hosts fault obviously, but an opportunity to check and see so the client experience is perfect. Other than that all was great. I’d go back if I was in the area.

Amazing location

Beautiful property and very close to all the hype Wellington has to offer. We would do a little 5 min stroll in the morning to pick up a great coffee and pastry before heading to the beach/park. The hosts were also very responsive and helpful! Highly recommend.

Charming cottage in a great location

The location is great and it’s within walking distance to grocery and restaurants. Everything was as described and communication with the host was good. Perhaps the cookware could benefit from a refresh but aside from that the cottage was great.

Ladies weekend in the County

We had a lovely time at CC’s Cottage. Marcy is a great host that answered all our questions. The kitchen is large and conducive to gatherings and the outdoor deck space is great for meals and hangouts. The rooms are large and the beds are comfy. We had a great time in the County!
