A detached carriage house with two additional bedrooms, a bathroom and a recreation room is available (rented separately).

The Space:
This is truly a romantic, spacious oasis in the heart of downtown Douglas. A private, enclosed backyard allows registered guests to take a well-deserved dip in the heated, in ground pool! Dine al fresco on the furnished, back patio. A full kitchen and gas grill make it easy to diversify your meals.

Centrally located in the heart of charming downtown Douglas, where you'll find the city's most popular restaurants, shops, and more. Take a brief stroll to the water, and you'll find Wade's Bayou Memorial Park, a lovely place to relax and rent kayaks. For a day at the beach, head two miles west to find Douglas Beach, or just north to award-wining Oval Beach. And if you fancy a round of golf, the Ravines and Clearbrook courses can both be found in the area.

The main house includes a first-floor primary bedroom en suite with a comfortable king bed and large closet. Also on the main floor, enjoy the well-equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar, a large dining room, a mud room with laundry and a utility sink, a cozy den filled with sunlight, a valued living room, a half bath, and a sizable front porch that is perfect for watching the sun rise with morning coffee, or enjoying an evening cocktail as you meet the many neighbors walking down this gorgeous, tree-lined street. Upstairs is another full and private suite, with a bedroom and queen bed, bathroom, and walk in closet as well!

Additional to rent (if available), is the detached carriage house just across the driveway. The loft is a truly posh escape from the city, with vaulted ceilings and the feeling you are nestled in a luxury suite “tree house”. Filled with natural light, it boasts a small kitchen and bathroom, king bed, and a lounge area for relaxation after a day of exploring the lakeshore. On the main level is a queen bedroom and recreation room with table tennis. Lined with three sets of wide French doors, these rooms receive a ton of southern light, which also bathes the large blue stone patio outside.
