Shady Pines is an awesome rental. In a very nice area within walking distance to beach and town. Has many amenities and set up very well to make you feel very comfortable. Our family had a great time and good communication with owners.

Excellent property. Recently renovated. Very comfortable, homey, spacious and nicely decorated. Superb location, only 10 minutes walking distance to the beach and the marina. Great backyard patio and a garage with many beach accessories and two bikes available for guests. Owners were friendly and very helpful.

Shady Pines is the perfect place to stay in South Haven. The house is nicely decorated and very roomy. My family of 4 had plenty of room. 2 full bathrooms is a big plus! Big kitchen with all we needed- coffee maker, refrigerator, etc. We walked to the beach and the downtown area. Just perfect!

Enjoyed by the whole family

This is our second time at this property, after a couple of years. There were improvements made to the yard which were very nice, it was nice before. Proximity to beach and town are great so we walked everywhere. Would definitely plan to stay at this location again.

Beautiful Home

Shady Pines is even more beautiful than the pictures appear. The home is very spacious with all the amenities of home. We loved relaxing by the outdoor fire pit and hammock surrounded by the beautiful trees and garden. The home is located in a lovely neighborhood and just a short walk to both town and swimming at the beach. We loved our stay at Shady Pines and highly recommend it!

Perfect layout an location

The home was in a beautiful neighborhood only blocks from Kids Korner and South Beach. It was clean, nicely furnished and even had beach chairs, bikes and kayaks. The lower level bed and bath offers privacy from the rest of the house. Great for multiple generations sharing the space. Communication with the owner was timely and clear. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and hope to return.

Family Vacation with Littles

My husband and I (along with our three kiddos ages 5, 3, and 1), absolutely loved our stay at Shady Pines! The neighborhood was beautiful, quiet, and in perfect proximity to everything we needed/wanted. Walking to the beach and Kids’ Corner was super easy, even with little ones. The pictures of the house really don’t do it justice! We appreciated the extra linens, the cabinet of games, and firewood to enjoy an evening by the patio fire pit. We would enjoy staying here again when we return to South Haven in the future!

Perfect for 2 families

I liked the fact that out daughter’s family could stay upstairs with bath and my husband and I could be downstairs with our own bedroom and bath. We could sleep in when kids get up early. Bedding was comfortable. If you have little kids, bring baby gates for stairs.

Loved Our Walkable Beach Vacation

This house suited us well. We could easily walk to the beach and to town with the kids. The furnished wagon & beach toys were helpful. The back yard was perfect for shaded play and relaxing. The s’mores at the fire pit were a hit with the kids. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen had all we needed to prepare most of our meals “at home”. B/c the inside dining space is somewhat limited our 6 ate most of our meals at the table on the lovely deck. This is a property we would enjoy returning to.

Enjoyed this rental immensely. The 13 stairs getting to main level were a surprise, but we adapted. Grandpa has Parkinson’s so had we known about those stairs, we wouldn’t have reserved. But rest assured, if you’re hale and hearty, the place has everything one could want and then some! Owner great!

Well-appointed and great location

We loved the location with a 5-minute walk into town and the beach. The master suite on the first floor is beautiful, and the shower is one of the best I’ve ever used.

Great place!!

My family had such a nice time at this property! Beautiful interior, far better than the pictures! Really spacious house with lot of charm and character! Close to downtown and the Beach, within walking distance of both. Very quiet neighborhood, wooded lot with nice privacy. House is full of extra amenities, everything you'd need for your stay, and the extra gift with wine, sunscreen and other goodies was such a nice suprise! We'd happily stay here again!
