Beach Rose Cottage en un barrio tranquilo cerca de la playa

Casa nueva, a cinco minutos a pie del muelle, la estación de tren y la playa. A cinco minutos de un gran parque familiar con juegos infantiles, canchas de bochas, tenis y baloncesto y hay un puesto de granja / langosta al final de nuestra calle. Música en vivo los jueves por la noche hasta el verano, seguido de fuegos artificiales los jueves por la noche. La casa tiene dos amplias habitaciones con baños privados en la planta superior, con vestidores. 1/2 baño adicional junto a la sala de estar / cocina abierta que tiene muchas ventanas y sol. Todos los electrodomésticos de cocina son nuevos, lavaplatos, micro, etc. La casa está muy bien decorada con televisión y reproductor de DVD en la sala de estar y televisión en el dormitorio principal. Dos porches dan a un patio ajardinado con flores, arbustos, mesa de picnic y sillas, así como una parrilla de barbacoa. El porche delantero es un gran lugar para relajarse con una bebida fría después de un día en la playa. Estacionamiento fuera de la calle para dos autos, así como más estacionamiento disponible en la calle. Aire central disponible. Fumar afuera solo por favor y lo siento, no se admiten mascotas. Cochecito doble, trona, carrito de playa, pack n play disponible para niños. NOTA: Debido a los requisitos del seguro, la persona responsable del alquiler debe ser mayor de 21 años.

The house is great for extended family vacation with 3 bedrooms each having its own bathroom. The only slight drawback is that there is no dining table. It's only a 15 to 20 minute walk to the amusements, pier and the beach.

This property was perfect for our week in Old Orchard. The house was roomy for our extended family and was within walking distance of the beach and the pier shops and amusements. Not your typical beach house as the beds were comfy and the kitchen and living areas were open concept for entertaining etc. Also, it has central air conditioning which was much appreciated.The kids and grands visited and the three full and one half bath were a blessing. The kitchen had everything that we needed. The property manager Kathy greeted us when we arrived and was very accommodating and helpful. There is a caretaker in the basement apartment and he introduced himself to us incase we needed him. We had a very relaxing week and highly recommend this property for a great family vacation

The bedroom, bathroom, porch , and other outdoor space was very good. The common space was disappointing. The living room furniture needs to be replaced, as it is quite worn. Additional seating should also be worked into the space. My objective in renting a house is to spend quality time relaxing with my family. When watching TV, we needed to bring in an outdoor chair, which was not especially comfortable.Property manager, Kathy was lovely. She started us off with delicious and plentiful snacks and checked in with us, provided information about the area.

Nice and clean place to stay with your family

Nice and clean place to stay with your family and friends. Very close to the beach with bathroom in each of the bedrooms. Have just about everything you need in a typical house.

Old Orchard Beach Stay

The property has a very good location as it is walking distance to the beach and many restaurants. The property itself was fine for our needs with 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths. The half bath makes a big difference.

Wonderful stay

The house was very clean and comfortable. It is in a lovely neighborhood, a short walk from the beach. The property managers were very responsive to our requests. Overall it was a wonderful vacation. We will definitely visit again.

Great family get-away in Old Orchard

Wonderful and very comfortable house for our Old Orchard Beach get-away. Plenty of space indoors for everyone and nice outdoor areas in the back yard, side and front porches for dining and lounging. Nice quiet neighbourhood and just a few minutes to the beach and fun attractions. The property manager kindly welcomed us and was very attentive. Great place to stay.

Perfect family vacation

This was a wonderful location for our family of 4 adults and 2 small children. Nice floor plan with comfortable accommodations and plenty of space. 2 full and 1-1/2 bathrooms came in handy as well as the fenced in yard for the kiddos. Well stocked kitchen and cute porch made this house feel like our home for the week. Close to town and beach but in a quiet neighborhood, I would highly recommend Beach Rose Cottage.

Old Orchard Beach

The house was perfect for us as our kids and grandkids stayed on 2nd floor where they had two bedrooms each with a full bathroom while we stay on the first floor also with a full bath. One-half mile from the beach provided quite atmosphere but easy walk to beach. A major plus was Farm stand with terrific fresh fruit (and lobsters) at the end of our street.

Perfect location & property

The property was as indicated on listing and was so convenient but just far enough to the beach. The communication with manager was extremely responsive when I needed help with WiFi. The property was perfect for our family to enjoy time together while having the convenience of being within a few minute walk to beach and festivities while still being quiet to relax and enjoy time together. We will be back for sure!

Great location!

We had a fantastic experience. Kathy was so personable and accommodating. She answered every question quickly and thoroughly. This was our first time vacationing in Maine and we had something to do everyday, even when it rained. This property was an easy walk to the beach and the main strip where the stores, restaurants and amusements were. I highly recommend!

Great and amazing place to stay in Maine. Close to beach restaurants and stores.

Had an amazing time. The house had everything beach towels cart chairs. Great having coffee in rocking chairs early each morning and relaxing in evening. Great neighborhood and very quiet. Close walk to beach restaurants and stores. They supplied so much. Coffee sugars plates paper towels and toilet paper. Amazing set up. Rooms and beds so comfy. Love to go back again soon. Great atmosphere.

Fantastic place!

The house was everything we hoped for! Each family had its own room and bathroom, which was perfect. Central air kept it cool and comfortable. We enjoyed the front porch each night. Close to the pier area but in a quiet neighborhood. The walk to the beach felt a bit long with little ones in the heat, but it wasn’t really bad. We enjoyed every minute with our kids and grandkids, and hope to return. The house was clean, comfortable and well-appointed.

Beautiful, comfortable oasis close to the beach

We absolutely loved our time here. Cathy was so helpful and available for anything we needed. The kitchen is perfectly stocked with any dish or cooking utensil. Love the sit-around island. The living room is great and comfortable for relaxing at the end of the day. The beds are so comfortable and having additional bathrooms is a real plus. It's such a quiet location with beautiful greenery through every window, but just moments to the fun and busy heart of Old Orchard. We're looking so forward to coming back. A real treasure.

Great location

We could walk to everyone. Only needed the car for things the grocery store or going to the movies. Grocery store 2 minutes car ride. House has central air, but not in the upstairs bedrooms. All rooms have ceiling fans which were very useful. 4.5 bathrooms, no one ever had to wait for a bathroom. 10-15 minute walk to beach, amusement park. Golf course less than 10 miles away. We went biking 3 different times.Hiking trail at the end of our road. It had something to do for everyone.

Beach Rose Cottage

Great location at the top of the orchard! Very clean, beautiful house that accommodated my kids who are 12yo & 16yo, myself, my significant other & his 80 yo mother. The bedroom with attached bathroom on the 1st floor was perfect for her since she has trouble walking up stairs & stepping over into a tub to shower. Kitchen/open concept living room were a great space to gather for meals & chit chat. We had hoped for more comfortable, supportive beds & living room furniture considering we spent most of our time indoors due to torrential rains during our time there. Just something to consider if you see rain in the forecast for most of your visit. The rocking chairs on the porch were great to sit, get some fresh air & watch the rain come down! Kathy, the property manager, was very helpful in meeting us there at check in to show us around the house & at check out.

Beautiful, well-maintained home.

This was a wonderful place to spend a week relaxing. It is about a 10-minute walk to the beach but that is good because the beach and boardwalk are very hectic and noisy. In contrast, the house is located in quiet neighborhood with little traffic or street noise. The front porch offers a comfortable place to sit and talk or read. The bbq and picnic table in the back gave us a nice outdoor place to eat and enjoy some company. We didn't bring little kids but there are definitely accommodations for them - beach toys, crib, stroller etc. The rooms are big and clean and the property manager was very friendly and responsive. It is a short drive to a number of parks and the Rachel Carson Wildlife Preserve. And when it poured down rain one day we were able to drive for 15 minutes to a movie theater for some indoor entertainment. We really had a wonderfully relaxing time which was what we wanted for our week away from the big city.

Birthday Week with Family

This was a bucket list wish for a big birthday with family and after lots of reviews we settled on this gem. Kathy is an excellent property manager to deal with. She answers messages quickly and efficiently prior to arrival and also while visiting, she is very friendly. There is an onsite care manager that lives downstairs, he does not interfere with daily going on with the renter and if you speak with him he is also very friendly. The house is walking distance to the beach and lots of eateries, etc. The home has plenty of beds for big and littles. Our only faults we encountered was that the living room furniture was not elderly friendly, it is low grade and has covers on it (which is fine) but when you sit on it you literally "sink" down which makes it difficult to get up. My dad did not stay in the room for hardly any of the week visit due to this. We also found a limit on wash cloths of two per bedroom and when you have more than two people that can be a tad awkward so we had to wash clothes often for this. Lastly, there is a bedroom upstairs that has an issue with the exhaust fan/light that has a short and keeps flickering. All of the negatives have been reported to Kathy and I am sure she will make sure to have them fixed quickly, but if not, the biggest thing is the living room furniture for the older folks to be warned of. The locals are very friendly even though this is a rental unit, several on the road are so they are used to it. Throw a hand up and wave. We did.

Great beach getaway!

The house is wonderful for large family gatherings - that each bedroom has its own bathroom is a major plus - and it's great to have a grill! The kitchen is well-stocked and beach items are thoughtfully provided. The convenient nearby lobster and farm stand provided us with several fresh seafood dinners during our stay. In addition, the management is very responsive. This is a great beach home and we'd definitely rent it again.

Beautiful home

We had a small family reunion. Home had all the amenities we needed. It was great that all the bedrooms had bathrooms. Property was clean. Property manager was extremely pleasant and very easy to communicate with. Great location!

Perfect location!

This was the perfect house in a very convenient location for sightseeing up and down the coast. We all slept well as it was a quiet neighborhood and the beds were comfortable.. The kitchen had everything we needed for making meals. If ever we are back in Maine we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!
