Casual Beachfront 1-Bed with Pool

Leith Court 16 is located on the ground floor right next to the pool, and is a cozy and comfortable one bedroom, one bathroom beachfront apartment. There is a full size kitchen, living area, and patio overlooking the pool, gardens and sea beyond. The bedroom is fully air-conditioned with a queen size bed.

Leith Court overlooks one of the most beautiful beaches on the South Coast of Barbados. This gated complex offers amazing ocean views from every apartment, a communal pool which was uniquely designed in the shape of a guitar and beach access which is simply two steps from the well maintained gardens. Shopping, restaurants, and the famous St. Lawrence Gap are all within walking distance.

Loved my Condo and the grounds were beautiful. The pool was also very nice. The beach was a disappointment. We were unable to even get to it most days because of the tide and waves. Lost's of seaweed and very large rocks. I was looking forward to swimming with the turtles and couldn't even get out there. Maybe it was the dates we chose I am not sure.

Peace on the ocean

You can't beat this place for the price. There is a pool steps from your door and the ocean a few steps further than that. Can buy some groceries from the market up the street and cook breakfast/lunch in the room and walk or take the 3.50 BBD ZR bus out to dinners. Reserve a dinner at Champers with the money you save on the room!

Great location. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Road is busy and sidewalks are tricky when there. Lovely pool and beachfront.

Great location!

Loved location with easy beach access from property. Pool was great to cool off in. Southern exposure means sun all day. Easy access to groceries (5 minute walk) various restaurants and drinking establishments. On our list to return next Tim in Barbados.

Ocean View Right from Your Patio

We loved the view, the location and the pool! Great restaurants within walking distance or if you prefer to prepare your own meals the condo has a great kitchen with everything you need. A large grocery store is less than a 5min walk away - very convenient! The property is very well maintained and the property manager is very responsive.

Location out of this world Communication with host was brilliant, minor issue rectified with efficiency and speed - excellent !! Only negative is the lack of casual seating in the veranda area, if this was rectified it would greatly enhance any guests stay .

Beautiful location

The apartment is close enough to the beach to walk barefoot to it and leave your towel on porch. It is an easy walk to the Worthing Square food court, a supermarket and the restaurants of St Lawrence Gap. Loved that there was a small flashlight for guest use as the street lighting is intermittent and sidewalks uneven if you do wander down to the gap at night. We saw turtles every day at all times of day. Lots of buses and ZR taxis can be caught outside and there is a taxi stand 3 minutes walk away. The building is older, the decor ( and cutlery) dated but it was clean and while we did encounter some building age related maintenance issues, the management had tradesmen in quickly to fix them. The kitchen had everything we needed. The air conditioning worked and we only really used it at night. The other appliances were also older but functional. The acoustics are weird; the booming music of the ZR taxis on the road in front of the building is quite noticeable in the living room at the back, but not intrusive in the bedroom at the front, closer to the road! This may not be the most chic or glamorous apartment, but if cleanliness, function and location is more important to you, it works well.

Great place,perfect location.One of the prettiest beaches. Very convenient to everything. I would have given a 5 star,but I thought the living room sofa was a bit outdated, a squeaky ceiling fan,and patio furniture could be nicer,very uncomfortable. Overall the unit was great. We would book it again.we also loved the concierge service,and land line phone!!

We were looking for a place on the water that allowed us to walk everywhere. This location did just that. Lots of options in restaurants nearby along with a grocery store directly across the street. Has a nice pool but we spent most of our time at the beach or walking to the boardwalk and restaurants near Rockley beach. Definitely recommend.

My husband & I booked the rental after staying in the Worthing area just a year prior. We knew we loved the area already, and needed a place for 10 nights. Fortunately, we came across this condo as it was a WONDERFUL experience! The living space is everything it is described to be. We were provided with CLEAR step by step instructions for check-in. The property is located on the lowest level, at the shallow side of the pool. We first were concerned about privacy, but never had issues. The show stopper of the property was the access to the BEAUTIFUL beach, and the well maintained pool & gardens! You cannot get a location like this for the price. The stove/oven/blender/microwave came in very handy. Plenty of cooking pans/utensils. We are big cookers - so for the 10 nights we were there we cooked each night. Massy and TriMart are right across the way. Washer/Dryer, air conditioning, tv… all a plus! Wonderful time. Sad to leave!

Perfect unit for location to beach and pool. Service was prompt with any issue. Bed and pillows need to be replaced and chairs on terrace are not comfortable as that is where the majority of your stay is spent. A little update would make this a 5 star.

Excellent place and experience

This place is wonderful, fall out of bed either into the pool or onto the beach. There is plenty of space and exceptional patio area. The kitchen is full sized and has everything you need including a full sized fridge. The garden area is so nice to look out on. The local bus.cabs run right outside and there are three supermarkets within walking distance. Lisa our housekeeper was great. Ohhh the added bonus was a washer and dryer. Note to Blue Sky, make sure your marketing includes the washer dryer as this is a massive benefit if traveling for two weeks or more. Great vacation !!!

Enjoyed

We start this review by saying that we stayed 12 nights in November 2021, and 3 days after our return home, booked 19 nights here in November 2022. We obviously had a great time, but want to give our honest opinion. On arrival we felt disappointed, as the apartment is quite tired, and could definitely do with an update. That being said, it has everything you need to enjoy your stay, and everything works. The initial disappointment is quickly forgotten, and the outstanding location by the ocean, and the morning swim with surrounding Turtles is a privilege and a highlight of life. Being able to walk down the beach, access shops, bars and restaurants on the doorstep, made it an ideal location for us. We were affected by a covid curfew, so zero traffic at night, meaning the road was quiet, so we should find out if this affects us next year. Leith Court gives direct access into the sea, and the pool is a nice bonus. Slight lack of privacy being on the ground floor, but we feel the ability to step straight out to the pool, garden, and ocean, more than compensates for this. Most the people we spoke to return year on year, and it's easy to see why. Everybody was extremely friendly, whilst respecting your privacy which added to our experience. Hopefully a bit of an update in the apartment by the time we return, but if not, it's not something that we'll complain about. We very much doubt anyone has regretted their stay here, and waited until we rebooked before writing what we hope is seen as the positive, honest review intended.
