Enjoy this comfortable cozy home on two levels! Whether you need a peaceful calm getaway or time to enjoy time with friends or family travelling with you, this is your oasis!!
The bright spacious open concept kitchen/livingroom/dining room is perfect you to relax and enjoy the space!! Sit in and enjoy the view of the private back yard, or sit outside on the deck in the sunshine and relax your cares away! There is lots of seating along with a BBQ to cook up some great eats!!
The living room has lots of great seating with premium Natussi leather furniture and a smart tv to watch movies etc. Prime and Netflix are included with your stay!!
Want to enjoy the great outdoors? My home is very close to great walking trails accessible just outside the door or a quick 2-5 minute drive. It is a 20 min walk if you need to stretch your legs or a 5 minute drive to downtown and its many restaurants, along with Kenora's beautiful water front.
If you are here with your “littles” there is a play ground just minutes away and a beach close by for swimming. (Garrow Park). The walking trails will take you there!!
The basement is equipped with a desk space if you would like a quiet work area.
If you are here in the early summer you will even see the fawns being born or running thro the back yard. They are adorable!!! (Remember look but dont touch....the fawns are protected from wildlife with a complete lack of smell)

Third Stay

This was my third stay for business at Jan's place and the experience (like the first 2) was very pleasant. A nice, clean house that I had all to myself in a small, quiet neighborhood setting combined to make a very nice visit. The next time I am in town I will definitely make plans to stay here again.

Enjoyed this property. The host is a good communicator. The neighbourhood feels much more comfortable than any of the hotel/motels I’ve stayed at in Kenora recently.

Very clean and roomy accomodations

Very clean. Spacious rooms. Everything but the food provided. No problem though close to downtown with a variety of restaurants and grocery shopping. Also had visits from friendly deers in the beautiful backyard observed from the spacious patio. The home as decribed.

Clean and cozy

We arrived at the house and it was very clean and welcoming , living room was cozy and good hang out spot . We were later visited by a deer in the backyard , it was a nice stay .

We stayed with 2 kids on our way across Canada. Jan was super nice and helpful. The house was clean and peaceful and in a great location. Would highly recommend!

So nice that I did it again.

This was my second stay here for business and was just as enjoyable as the first. I had all I needed to stay focused on my job while relaxing as well. The neighborhood was quiet and I slept well in the bed, which was most comfortable. As with my first time, a very nice experience.

Home away from home

Owner was very kind and accommodating. We met up with family and the house was perfect for us. House has everything need for cooking, sleeping and any toiletries that was forgotten. It was also close to all amenities. We were very happy to stay here versus staying in a hotel! We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to friends and family.

A little about me....! I was born and raised here in Kenora, and purchased this home to raise my family! I have loved and cared for it since day one, and to my son and I it is home!!
Kenora is a great place to live!! In the winter I spend alot of time skiing and hiking the many trails! Ice fishing is a must (in a nice cozy ice shack) and its so fun to drive on the ice road . We have even driven all the way to the states on the ice for lunch.
In the summer we boat the same place we drive in the winter, and spend alot of time fishing and swimming.

This house is my home, and I have spent years creating a comfy cozy oasis for me and my family! I am sure you will feel just as relaxed and happy in it as my family and I do!

The open concept makes it perfect for creating a happy fun environment, and the lower level makes room for games, puzzles, and a second getaway spot!

in the summer months I have a deck that runs almost the entire home in the private back yard with a table and sitting area!

The moment I walked into this home, I immediately felt AT HOME!
The feel of this home was different from any others I had seen and I immediately purchased it. That was 22 years ago, and I have loved it ever since.
The backyard is so private, full of trees, birds, and fresh air! It feels like a country home but with the perks of being so close to all the amenities.
I have tried to create an retreat feel in my home, and I hope that you feel it too!
