Aspectos negativos: Limpieza y precisión del anuncio
While close to the beach, the unit is not in good condition (filthy living room rug, dining room table had a sticky substance the property manager could not remove, walls are scuffed, screen door has holes & kitchen is quite dated). Wifi stopped working halfway through the stay & was never fixed. The second bedroom is off parking lot which is adjacent to the Fripp Island Resort. Loud music until 1am one night and generators running on food trucks on others made sleeping difficult. Simply not close to being worth the price. I'd recommend other options.

We love staying at Capt John villas. You cannot beat the location. This property is right outside the private pool. Our kids could swim while we cooked on the charcoal grill. Easy walk to beach and the club

Perfectly located.

This property was perfect for our family's beach vacation. We couldn't have asked for a better location! It is a quick and easy walk to the beach, the kids loved the pool, and the back patio gets great shade in the afternoon. The interior is clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for the week.

Fantastic Location!

This was our first trip to Fripp Island and we had a wonderful stay. The location of the condo was fantastic and it was super clean. A short walk across the grassy courtyard and you are on the boardwalk. We also loved sitting out on the patio in the evening before heading out to dinner. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful property

We stay in Fripp 5-6 times a year (for the last 15 years). We have stayed at 4-5 CJF Villas. This was by far the nicest CJF we have ever stayed in and in top two of all the Fripp properties we have rented.

Convenient location

Townhouse is in a great location and close to beach and pools. The bathrooms seem recently updated. It was nice to have 3 full bathrooms. The kitchen cabinets could use a deep cleaning and better utensils.

Excellent Accommodations

Unit was clean, comfortable and great location!!A hidden gem. The pool was right there and a beautiful beach was just steps from the unit. We did not do the resort passes so we had to drive to restaurants which was ok because there are a lot of great restaurants in the Beaufort area within 30 minutes- lots to do. Loved Hunting Island State Park which was just outside the community. Great fishing dock and Boneyard was a highlight of the trip. This unit was in a great location. Would stay here again. Lots to do, great accommodations and serene surroundings.

Great stay (minus the no see-um bug bites)

Great condo with an amazing location as we were only steps away from the beach! Prepared several meals in the kitchen and everything that we needed, was provided. Beds were quite comfortable! Only problem was the master bathroom door would NOT close. Made a report on day 3 of our stay but it was not fixed.

Fripp

Incredible host! Very quick to reply. Location is always prime. John Fripp villas is the best place to stay in my 24 years of going to Fripp. Private pool, private beach access, adult pool and bar, food court, etc. even though those Fripp houses are gorgeous, you can’t beat John Fripp villas!

Great family vacation in convenient local on Fripp Island

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Fripp Island last week. The condo was in a perfect location. The walk to the beach was easy on the boardwalk and just minutes from our condo. Our granddaughters particularly liked the pool being just outside our back door. With the amenity cards and Beach club being just next door, we could walk over to play games with the kids and get ice cream from the food truck. The king sized bed in the master was very comfortable. Having 2 beds in the secondary bedroom was perfect for the 2 girls to sleep together in the same room as their parents. The kitchen had all the necessary equiptment needed for us to prepare most meals there in the condo. We hope to return next year and have the same great experience!

Barry, we are sorry that you believe the condo to not be how we advertise it. We reached out after your check in to see how everything was and if you had concerns or questions to let us know. We did not hear a response from you. Had we known you were not happy, we would have worked hard to fix any and all issues you may have needed.

Friendly Frippers

Loves the condo! I have been coming to Fripp for 36 years and I have seen many changes over time. The three bathrooms are definitely a plus! The price for amenity cards is a little ridiculous! The deer are a nice bonus but the grass has “sand spurs” now which has never been an issue. The lawn care needs to up their game! Condo is in the perfect location and we can’t wait to return next year!

Great stay, great lication

The property was the nicest we’ve stayed in at JFVs. We very much appreciated the hardwood floors throughout. And this was the first trip in which we did not see any palmetto bugs in or around the units. I’m not sure if the bugs are worse some years and better for others, but I did not see any in this unit. Huge bonus! We’ve just sort of come to expect them (even at upscale hotels) when we visit the South, so it was wonderful not having to encounter them! The third bathroom was so convenient for our family of four. It’s really nice to have the extra shower when you’re all trying to clean up from the beach or pool! We were steps from the pool, steps from the beach, the property manager was accessible, we couldn’t have asked for a better getaway! I would stay here again in a heartbeat!
