Charming Cottage on the River

Hi! Welcome to my place!

My cottage is a simple, wholesome escape. Just a skip away from the busy roads and city life, nature is all around. You might spot a heron flying over the river, chipmunks stopping by to say hello, or even a turkey wandering through the yard. It’s a small, cozy, no-frills kind of place—perfect for slowing down and enjoying the little things.

Indoors, light up the woodstove and get cozy—there’s plenty of firewood for you to use. Play a game of chess at the game table or wind down with some Netflix. Outside, lounge with a good book on the deck, stretch out in the hammock, or fire up the Kamado grill for a BBQ. Sauble Beach is just an 8 minute drive, and Tobermory, Lion’s Head, and Collingwood are all about an hour away.

The kitchen is equipped with essentials like pots, pans, dishes, and utensils for your convenience.

Exploring the river outback is best in July and August when the water levels are lower.

As much as I adore animals, the cottage is pet-free, and I don’t make exceptions to be fair to future guests who specifically seek this out.
