The backyard of this house was spectacular! We loved the hot tub and the outdoor seating, it was a little cold for the pool.The inside of the home was adequate, but the kitchen was lacking some helpful items, and the beds definitely need new mattresses.

Perfect place for our stay. Great neighborhood, ideal location for us, and we enjoyed the wonderful ocean breeze. The house had all the amenities we needed. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The host was super accommodating and helpful.

Great stay and visit

We had a wonderful time in Santa Barbara with this house as our base. Layout is great as is the pool and hot tub! Location is amazing and peaceful, walkable to grocery and a few restaurants and to a couple of beaches and open space trails. We hope to be back soon!

Perfect paradise

We stayed here for Christmas. My children and my grandchildren and I had the best time! The house was perfect for us. The property was beautiful. The location was amazing! The views were spectacular. If I could give this more than five stars I would! It was absolutely the most wonderful vacation I have ever taken.

Ladies Weekend

This little bungalow is located in the cutiest little neighborhood, with really nice families. Is within walking distance of the beach and grocery store. The outside set up was a great place to enjoy that morning coffee. The local manager was very on top of any problem we had. Very comfortable.

Dreamy SB holiday stay

This property was just what we needed! We stayed in a mixed group, my family of three including a baby and my friend with her two kids. We wanted a place that would give us easy access to restaurants, great walks, ocean views and offer a cozy hang in the backyard, since with kids, we couldn't stay out in town at night. The backyard was the best part - loved the hot tub, the pool, the twinkle lights at night, the palm trees and the seating area. We couldn't get enough!

Santa Barbara Girls Trip!

It was perfect in every way! We were all pleasantly surprised as It was honestly much nicer than we expected. This house & backyard is nicer in person & we couldn't have asked for anything more. This was my first time as a renter or occupant & I was impressed with how well the house was stocked with everything!! One in our group immediately said she hopes to future rent this house with her family. Plus the owner is kind & contact & communication was very easy. Highly recommend this house!! 5 Stars!

Great Location, but not very clean

This house was in a great location. The backyard was amazing. The hot tub and pool was fine. The house was well stocked with towels and kitchen supplies. But the house itself was not very clean. When we walked in, the smell of dog was strong. There was dog hair on the blankets. The kitchen also wasn’t very clean. We did contact the host about sheets and they were quick to respond. But no response to my message about how clean it was. We probably wouldn’t stay here again.

House has potential

The location was great, check in great, communication with owner good but concerned with cleanliness of house. There was lots of dog hair on both the couch and chair in living room. Dog hair on the sheets and comforter in one bedroom. The top bunk bed felt very unstable. There were ants in both the kitchen and master bathroom. Just did not feel clean. The backyard was very pretty but the chairs and benches were covered in spider webs as of not washed down in some time. Lots of room for improvement.

I was in this filthy house for 5 hours trying to get a refund. Mold in the shower, greasy dusty screens in the kitchen, cobwebs with giant dust balls on cabinets, under counters, in room screens, an open coconut oil jar with a knife in it, human hair on a knife from the drawer, a large piece of mold in a water pitcher in the fridge and more. i have pictures of all! It was depressing, gross, unsanitary, and ugly. I spoke to so many people from Vrbo and the management company, Evolve, and they were all unhelpful. I managed to get some money back and left more stressed than ever and after processing this debacle, am going to resume my quest to get a full refund and compensation for such a ratchet experience.

This property requires immediate inspection and repair before continuing on VRBO. There is visible foundation settlement and major structural concerns where the hallway and rear floor noticeably slope toward the back wall and the rear hallway door does not open. Interior: The home needs immediate pest control service, as spiders and webs were present in nearly every room, including around skylights. The hallway bedroom has a skylight directly over the bed with no curtain available. The hallway bathroom exhaust fan, light and shower head do not work. Only the handheld sprayer works and the floor of the shower is peeling. There is visible water damage outside the shower. The master bedroom shower had been remodeled, but the shower valve and spout diverter are leaking. The shower head sprayer works, but the hand-held sprayer does not. The master bedroom French doors have failed window seals and the floor is sloping toward the back wall. Exterior: Hot Tub works great, but the plaster is spalling and peeling. There are spider webs over all the pool equipment. This property should undergo professional inspection and significant repairs before being available on VRBO.

This place was a disaster. When we checked in the BR door leading to pool area was WIDE open. Since it was 10:30PM we had no idea what may have been inside the property, we basically sat up on the couches until it was light enough to inspect the property. The hot tub was too dirty to use. The kitchen cabinets were grimy and greasy. There were ants in every bathroom and the kitchen, ants were crawling in and out of our toiletry bags, and there were cobwebs in corners just about everywhere. I provided a video of ants crawling on my toiletry bag. When killing ants on the BR floors the bath tissue was black from dirt. There was dog hair on two beds. I Emailed the host 3 days before arrival, and day of departure (we left a day early) and we never had the courtesy of a response. Property managed by a local company, Evolve Team. Evolve was initially very responsive about my concerns and provided a "fair" refund of 623 within 24 hours. I emailed Evolve to get an explanation as to how they arrived at this "fair" resolution but never got a reply. Evolve told me to be in touch with VRBO to get a refund of VRBO fees, I called VRBO and was put on hold for 45 minutes, and the call was just dropped. The refund amounted to 16% of total that I paid, which was not sufficient in my mind, I had requested 50%. I would highly recommend against using this property.
