Our stay at this property was great! Beautiful ocean view right at the dunes with easy beach access. We were even able to watch two kite surfers from the deck as the surf was wild and it was windy our last day there. Restaurants and bars (and even a Target store) within walking or biking distance.

Absolutely beautiful view directly over the dune right onto the beach. You cannot get any closer to the beach, walk down the stairs and over the dune. The condo was clean and beds were comfortable and not worn out. The outside needed some attention and could be a little off putting but no issues inside.

Nice condo on the beach

We enjoyed our stay. The condo interior appeared freshly renovated. Had nice balcony just above the dune with great view.

Ocean get away

Perfect location right on the beach. Enjoyed the peace and quiet with no crowds and most of the units were empty. Loved it.

Perfect Location

The pictures for the condo are great, but it’s even better in person. Just one flight up and on the corner, this unit was quiet and cozy. Plenty of room for three adults. The small washer/dryer in the unit by the master bedroom was a wonderful surprise. The deck overlooking the ocean was a favorite spot. Also, we used the pool every day (rough surf that week) and it was clean and never crowded. You are within walking distance to several restaurants and a short drive to a ton more. Jim and Karen have done a great job decorating and stocking the unit with everything you need. I can’t say enough good things about Outer Banks Blue, who manage the property. They were engaged with us from initial reservation through the entire stay. Hope to make it back soon as this property is a gem!

Great property overall

I gave this 5 stars for all the important things. It’s clean. Awesome location. Beautiful view. Easy walk to the beach. Beds are comfortable. It didn’t have a hair dryer so I texted the property managers and a hair dryer showed up a couple of hours later. If I have any critique it would be a lack of amenities that you may expect. Only one roll of TP. No dish soap in the kitchen other than dishwasher soap. No hand soap. I’ve found that most places do have some of that stuff available so I don’t always think to bring it or buy it before I come.

Lisa, Thank you for your review. We do provide a starter supply of toilet paper for all bathrooms, soap, dishwashing detergent, and paper towels but it is not an unlimited supply. We regret you did not realize that in advance so we have highlighted this on our listings for future guests. We are glad you did have a great time!

Failed entry dort

Got locked out of the condo twice. No instructions on arrival for emergency. One time office phone mailbox was full. Had to call 911. Took about 30 mins for response. Also no microwave dishes in condo

Patty, We apologize for the mix up on the entry door code for this property. We do have someone on duty to respond to issues like this which is typically provided to you via text to your cell phone with the arrival information provided. We are still flummoxed about what happened during your stay with the code not working. We tested the lock after your departure and did not find a problem. The lock has not been an issue since your stay for other guests and we regret you had this issue. Thanks for your recommendation about the microwave dishes. The property owner is very proactive and has resolved that.
