Casa Playa is located in fabulous Captain’s Cove Golf and Yacht Club - one of the Best Kept Secrets on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. Captain’s Cove is only 25 short minutes by car or boat from Chincoteague Island and Assateague National Seashore, where our famous Wild Ponies roam free. And have y’all heard about our Oysters (pronounced Arsters here on the shore)? They are second to none! Looking for some OC excitement? Ocean City, Maryland is a short 45 minute drive away. Have the very best of everything, right in the heart of the Eastern Shore!

Casa Playa is Brand New for 2021, and absolutely wonderful. Tucked on a super quiet street off the beaten path in the Cove, you’re surrounded by lush Shade Trees and Tall Pines. Sitting right across from the Canal, you’ll take in gorgeous Water Views - just the perfect location to relax on the Deck and listen to the Tree Frogs sing, or go for a stroll through tree lined roads where you’re sure to see bountiful wildlife - Herons, Eagles, Egrets, Deer, and more. While you don’t have direct water access from Casa Playa, the Community Marina is a short stroll away, where you can launch kayaks, your boat, or do some fishing and crabbing from the Community Pier.

As you enter this lovely Home, you’ll love the feel of Crisp Whites, Sea Glass Blues, Beachy Floors, reminiscent of a stroll on the boardwalk. Relax in the Living Area and enjoy Flat Screen Satellite TV and Free WiFi after a fun-filled day exploring the Beach. Or stroll to take a dip at the Pool - there are THREE! Captain’s Cove has incredible Family-Friendly Amenities (fees apply), and they’re a short walk or bike ride from the house.

The Chef in your family will just love the well-equipped Kitchen with all you need to make mealtime anything but a chore. Dine in the comfort of the AC, or on the Back Deck, enjoying the peace and serenity. Not one to fuss with cooking on Vacation? No worries! The Marina Club Restaurant is just down the road where you can enjoy Bayfront Dining on the Deck, or even lounging Poolside with awesome cocktails from the Tiki Bar! Another Local’s Favorite, The Crusty Crab, is a short 5 minutes away also perched on the Chincoteague Bay. Their Crabby Fries are a must-try!

Casa Playa sleeps 6 more than comfortably in 3 spacious Bedrooms, all upstairs. The huge Master Bedroom features a King Bed, and gorgeous Water Views from several windows to the water. The Private Master Bath has a Walk-in Shower, and there’s room for all your gear in the Walk-in Closet. Down the Hall, Bedroom 2 sleeps 3 with a Twin and a Full Bed, and has a fun Coastal Theme. Finally, Bedroom 3 has another comfy Queen Bed, and lots of natural light. A shared Full Bath upstairs has brilliant aquas and crisp whites, and has a Tub/Shower Combo.

Captain’s Cove is loaded with family-friendly amenities - a Golf Course, Indoor Pool, 2 Outdoor Pools - 1 Bayfront with Tiki Bar, Fitness Center, Playground, Restaurant, and Snack Bar. Guests may purchase Amenity Passes for the pools by the day or the week at a minimal fee ($15/pp per day or $75/pp per week). More of a beach person? One of the most gorgeous, cleanest beaches in America, Assateague Island National Park, is only 20 minutes down the street, or take your boat to one of our awesome sand bars for your own private slice of Paradise. Two families traveling together? Book South Shore and Casa Playa, which is right next door!

Captain's Cove does not allow arrivals or departures on Sundays. Pool/Amenity closures possible due to covid and Amenities cannot be guaranteed. Please check with our office for current status. OCCUPANCY IS STRICTLY ENFORCED.
