Lake Erie's charming 4 season Lake Houz with BBQ, Fire Pit & more

Our LakeHouz is 4 Season & accommodates up to 6 people w/ 2 bedrooms including a spacious loft with king bed , electric fireplace, workspace, smart TV, mini fridge & private Ensuite with Jacuzzi Tub & stand up shower… a perfect little retreat with great lots of windows and gorgeous views Sunrises on the lake. The main floor bedroom has a comfy Queen bed & quality linens, lots of drawer space & walk-in closet.

Our spacious family room includes a wood burning stove for those chilly fall / winter days and evenings, a Queen size Murphy Bed, smart TV , a large family friendly coffee table perfect for the family to sit around for hours playing games or just hanging out. We offer plenty of books, magazine, puzzles and games… something for everyone, including children’s books & crossword puzzles.

Our kitchen is fully equipped with spice rack, mixing bowls, air fryer, hand mixer, rice cooker & more! The dining table seats 6 + 3 bar stools for gathering around the island with family & friends. We also have a fun high top bar/ table for a cup of morning Joe overlooking beautiful lake views, Watching ducks and fishing boats on the lake, this table also doubles as a workspace fitted w/ a power bar & USB charging.

Our living spaces are all designed with family and friends gathering in mind. Each area is spacious enough for everyone to hang out, including our fun sunny Screened in porch perfectly fitted with a bar fridge for extra drinks, a comfy conversational set, patio table for meals over looking beautiful sunsets, coat & boot rack, and more games & magazines living rooms.

Our outdoor spaces include a propane BBQ, fire pit, outdoor dining for 6, and more.
Our LakeHouz has been coined a birders paradise with the most beautiful views of sunrises & sunsets… It doesn’t hurt that we’re Neighbours with local Birding guide and expert “Pelee Birding”.

This isn’t just a cottage. It’s truly a home away from home and offers all the comforts you’d want & more. We hope you’ll love it as much as we do and as much our guests have since August 2022 … making memories for years to come

The property is absolutely gorgeous. The view is breathtaking. This is our second stay. We made memories around the fire with family, enjoyed a meal with friends and sat around the chiminea listening to the waves crashing in. The cottage is so cozy and looks like something out of a movie its so perfect. We had a wonderful time.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The accommodations were first rate. The kitchen was well stocked, more than we expected. It was very quiet for sleeping and a beautiful location. We would visit again.

An incredible week there. Hosts were incredible. We had intended on using the Lake Houz for a “home base” for when we did activities in the area for our vacation but spent most of our time sitting on the deck overlooking the lake. The place was stocked well and was cozy for a nice day relaxing and then movie nights with the family. Overall amazing week and memories.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Lake Houz. It's beautifully decorated and very clean. The House had everything we needed. It was very peaceful listening to the waves crash against the shore. Looking forward to another stay.

Family quality time together

We enjoyed our stay. Inside is nice and clean. BBQ should be changed, it’s falling a part. Also, all outside chairs were covered in spiderwebs.

Very comfortable home with all you need. Very pet friendly. It would be really nice if there would be lake access from the home but this is minor compared to what it offers.Very nice place.

Listed as a four bedroom on the website but only had two. Very, very bad experience with owners. Do not rent this house, they will over charge you.

The inside was great but the outside no so, I wish there was a leaf blower to help keep the white stuff off the decks and clean, It looks like the windows haven't been cleaned for years, thanks for the week

We love it here so much we've stayed a few times now. This really is a beautiful piece of paradise with something for everyone to enjoy. Fully appointed with everything you need. Close enough to any shopping or adventures you want to do yet located perfectly away from all the busy life. A real gem.

Get together with friends from afar and local.

Property was excellent. Thought of everything right up to the dog treats. We would definitely come again.Only one thing to improve upon. Extra set of towels would have been nice. Although we were able to wash the set we had. Thanks again

The perfect getaway

This cottage is perfect for a mini getaway. We enjoyed the welcome gift and the small touches. The indoor outdoor games were fun, the record player added a nice touch. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped to cook our meals in. It helped to have the cooking essentials (oils, spices and seasonings already in the cupboard). The sunsets and sunrises were amazing and the family pass for Point Pelee was a thoughtful touch. The boardwalk and lookout towers were worth the visit. We can’t wait to come back!

Amazing stay

I did the best choice in booking in this cottage! Worth to drive for. The couple, cottage owner are very nice, friendly, pleasant. Beautiful lake view. Dog friendly. Everything you're looking for nature feeling is in this cottage. A place to get away from city living. Price is fair enough. Highly recommended. We had a good time, fun, laughters and wonderful experienced. We will definitely come back here again...
