Country cottage close to airport (pet friendly)

Just 15 minutes from Christchurch airport, 5 minutes to local shops and restaurants, 20 minutes into town centre and just over an hour to the local ski fields this rural cottage is central to all your needs. 5 minutes up the road is the National Equine Centre, Orana Park Zoo, Mcleans island with its numerous bike and walking tracks plus paint balling and multiple other adventures. Walking distance to local wineries. The cottage is seperate from our house which is set on 10 acres of land.
Enjoy Netflix, Neon and Prime TV on us with access to free wifi during your stay. Your welcome to bring your furry friend along (add the Pet fee at time of booking and please follow the rules carefully to keep our own pets safe and stress free aswell as our own)
The kitchenette has all plug in appliances and enjoy tea and coffee on us!
If you’re lucky you will hear our resident moorpork at night, and the bellbird can be heard most days during the day, watch out for the numerous quails as you drive in and walk around too! please note, the property is not set out to be suitable for infants (no locks on cupboards etc) so bring them along at your own risk.

great location although a tad hard to find but the host provides great instructions. had everything i’d need in the kitchen for a short stay. had a hairdryer although no place to plug it - or my own hair tools - in near a mirror which makes styling a bit trickier. overall good value for money and i loved the very sweet and friendly cat that’s around!

comfortable stay

stay for the week due to a wedding here in christchurch, was very comfortable stay was peaceful and quiet, loved the fact it had netflix for my girls to chill after a long day out of activities, and i love how it had every thing we needed in it to , towels , plates , cups all the basic needs.really enjoyed our stay and we most definitely will love to return and stay agains.

Quiet, cozy room with well equipped kitchen, and a comfy bed. Great to arrive to a warm place to stay and the breakfast cereal was very helpful as the shops are 15 minutes away.

Puppy trip home!

Helen was so accommodating as we were returning from Murchison with a puppy. Spotlessly clean and very homely. Great location as not far from West Melton.

Very tidy and well looked after. Wonderful if you are travelling with pets as the owners are very accomodating and have provided a fully enclosed outdoor area. No traffic noise and very comfy bed. My only comment would be that I would have liked a little jug of milk for my morning cup of tea. We arrived later than expected due to car troubles so arrived in the dark and left in the dark so missed out on enjoying the rural setting. Great place to stay.

Little Country Gem!

Had a wonderful stay, lovely hosts and absolutely perfect place to bring your dog. Great walks in the area and an enclosed courtyard for your dog to run around in. Will definitely be visiting again. Thanks so much Helen and family ❤️

Good Accommodation and Excellent Host

Helen was lovely. She even provided a litter box and litter for our cat, put on the heat pump for a cosy arrival, had a couple of fresh eggs in the fridge and was very helpful - Well done.
