Water View Cottage With Access To River & Minutes To Sandy North Shore Beaches

Welcome to our North Shore retreat. The cottage was built with thoughtful design, clean lines, and a touch of rustic charm. The three-bedroom, two-bathroom cottage has 20-foot vaulted ceilings with wood beams and large windows to let the sunlight in and to enjoy the scenery. The kitchen is spacious with fresh, clean quartz counter tops, white cabinets and stainless-steel appliances. The dining area offers a cozy space for family meals, card games or gathering with friends. Two bedrooms are on the main floor and a bathroom with stone pebble mosaic tile in the shower. The laundry room has an extra bar fridge, washer and dryer. The primary bedroom is upstairs with king size bed, ensuite bathroom and walk in closet. Outside there are over 800 sq. feet of decking so there is always a place to sit in the sunshine or the shade. Close to Thunder Cove and Cousins Shore beaches. Kensington is a short drive away for anything you may need. Restaurants are close by to savour the best PEI has to offer on the North Shore.

The kitchen was well stocked and we appreciated the quality of the cook wear. The rest of the house was also well stocked with everything we needed for our stay even providing beach towels. We had a 2 year old along and so having access to the laundry was really helpful. Everything was also very clean.

Our family of 4 stayed almost a week in this beautiful house to explore PEI. The location is quiet and perfectly situated to explore the island. The house itself is amazing, clean, beautiful, practical and warm. I would highly recommend to anyone. We had the most amazing time.

What a fabulous place! It was remote - in a small neighborhood - and very comfortable. Everything was immaculate. The place was perfect! Well stocked - great outdoor space to sit on the front deck. It was a perfect get away for a few days. We were thrilled and would come back in a heartbeat!

Beyond our expectations!

It was 100% as stunning as the photos. There was not one speck of dirt anywhere, it had everything we needed and the location was great. It was comfortable, quiet, luxurious and had a great a wonderful view. The only negative I could say is that the house shakes slightly with strong winds. It was exquisite and our 3 teens thoroughly enjoyed it!

Fresh out of a magazine!

This is such a beautiful property! It’s like a home decor magazine come to life! The home is in a great location just outside the town of Kensington and within 30 minutes of Summerside and Cavendish. The house was well stocked with anything you could ever want or need. Beautiful view of the river. It was a bit too windy for us to sit outside, but it was great the couple times we did. Renters should be aware that the road to the property is not paved for the last kilometre or so and was quite rough in some spots.

Perfect vacation home!

The cottage is absolutely perfect. Beautuful, modern, unbelievably clean. A little difficult to find at first, which was perfect because it was so quiet and tranquil. The beds are comfortable, the bathrooms perfect. Plus, if you can imagine it the hosts have thought of it! This cottage/home is packed with everything you need. Hated to leave. Can't wait to come back.

A Home Away From Home

It is not to often you come across a gem like this place. It was perfect for the group of 4 of us to see what PEI had to offer although plenty of space for 6. It was very clean and located in a great area close to everything we wanted to see. Those grand windows looking out over the manicured grass down to the river were spectacular.

Modern cottage

We were very impressed with the style , comfort and how well stocked the cottage was with modern and beautiful pieces Everything we needed was there - including AC We enjoyed a lovely view of Long River Not perfect for swimming or walking on the beach but everything else was perfect

Nothing short of perfection - no detail missed

We had the absolute pleasure and privilege of staying at this impeccable property from June 29-July 6th 2024 with our close friends - to say it was perfect is not an exaggeration - it exceeded expectations with the beautiful decor, thoughtful and detailed instructions. The bedrooms and bathrooms had everything you would need or want - and the kitchen was a dream to cook in and had every amenity. The little touches and details throughout the entire house made it extra special. I was hesitant to post this because in doing so might mean we can never get into this property again but the excellence of this whole week could not go without giving the praise and congratulations the owners of this property deserve - we hope to be back soon but in the meantime this will be the vacation spot we forever dream of and compare all others to - so grateful for a wonderful week at this amazing water view cottage in our beloved PEI! Beautiful getaway

We had a wonderful stay. It was evident that a tremendous amount of attention to detail and thought went into this property, from the furnishings to the bedding and window coverings. This made for a truly exceptional experience. The kitchen was well stocked with all the extras you might need, or not even know you needed. The property was extremely clean and conveniently located, not too far from anywhere. While we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, we did encounter some challenges with communication from the property management company. This was mainly due to needing to make changes to our booking, which did impact our overall experience. However, despite this issue, it would not dissuade us from booking again in the future

A piece of paradise

This 5 star exquisite Long River cottage will certainly make your kindred spirit burst with longing to come back again and will not disappoint in any way. The magnificent Long River view, private cottage surrounded by spruce trees and the sweet smell of lilac shrubs , where the peaceful sounds of song birds made my rest and relaxation week my new go to “Happy Place”! The comfort cozy atmosphere in every room and where the kitchen was such a pleasure to prepare a meal as it was vested with all provisions and utilities one would require was above and beyond basics. I highly recommend this incredible owner’s attention to detail cottage for your next stay in beautiful PEI.

Outstanding and Perfection All the Way!

Our recent stay at this lovely cottage was nothing short of perfection. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The attention to detail and thoughtful touches throughout the cottage made our stay incredibly comfortable and enjoyable. The beds were top-notch, providing a level of comfort that is rare to find even in the best hotels. It's clear that the owners have invested in quality mattresses, pillows, and linens…and it made all the difference. The kitchen was impeccably clean and well-stocked with everything we could possibly need. From cooking utensils to high-end appliances (and BBQ), we had all the tools necessary to prepare our meals. The thoughtful provisioning extended beyond the basics, with a variety of spices, coffee, and tea available for our use including huge pot big enough for our feed of local lobster and mussels. The location of the cottage was ideal for a holiday getaway and only 10 minutes in either direction to Kensington and Cavendish it offered the perfect blend of tranquility and accessibility to local attractions. In conclusion, our stay at this cottage was everything we had hoped for and more. The combination of comfortable outdoor space, wonderful beds, well-appointed kitchen, impeccable cleanliness, and stunning water-view location made it a truly unforgettable holiday. We are already planning our return visit and would highly recommend this cottage to anyone seeking a perfect retreat. Five stars!
