Cynthia, Thank you for your feedback and for staying at the Quarter Deck S Cottage! We're so glad to hear you enjoyed the beachfront location, the cleanliness of the unit, and the comfort of the bed. We also appreciate you pointing out the unique layout—it’s great to know that the disclosure helped set expectations. Regarding the ants on the patio—we completely understand how that could impact your enjoyment of the outdoor space. We do have a professional pest control service that treats the interior of the cottages regularly. However, because we are located directly on the beach, there are legal and environmental restrictions that prevent us from applying treatments to the surrounding exterior areas. That said, we did inspect the area and did not find anything unusual, but we’ll continue to monitor it closely. Ants are unfortunately part of the natural beach environment, but we absolutely want our guests to feel comfortable. We appreciate your notes on the ice trays, outlet/mirror setup, and the TV placement. These are helpful suggestions, and we'll certainly take them into account as we continue improving the guest experience.
