We had a great stay at this Lake Gaston home on Stillwater Creek Drive! The house was very nice and being right on the water made the trip even better. We rented a boat for two days and loved being able to dock it right at the house and leave it there overnight—it made getting out on the lake so easy.Cynthia was our point of contact and was wonderful to work with. She was very responsive and quick to answer any questions we had throughout our stay.Overall, we had a great experience and really enjoyed our time at Lake Gaston. We would definitely stay here again!

A lot of stairs,need to update game room with newer games,pool table is in poor shape,air hockey doesn’t work, foosball table is real bad shape. House is nice

We hear you on the game room and are already working on it: corrections are planned for the pool table, a new motor is on order for the air hockey table, and the foosball table concerns will be addressed as well. Wonderful vacation

Our family had a great time at Summer Shade Inn! Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the house and dock and the kids are already saying they want to come back! The owners were great to communicate with when we had any questions. We wished we could have stayed longer!

Beautiful lake front

This location was wonderful. It had amazing views and we were able to hope into our boat anytime to go wake boarding, tubing, fishing. lots of sleeping space and the game room is amazing! I hope to be able to stay there again some time.

Beautiful home in a beautiful location

Easy scheduling, great access to the water, and a plethora of water activity options between paddle boarding, kayaking, or renting jetskis/boats up the road. 100% recommend

Boist Trip Review

Great House. Plenty of rooms and beds for us to enjoy. Lots of stairs to get to the dock, but it’s a beautiful property with a great front yard and plenty of games to use. Enjoyed the serenity of the lake.

Perfect Getaway

We had a great vacation and group reunion. This house was stocked with all of the necessities for comfort and amenties to enjoy the lake. The local was ideal. Communication with owners was always timely and helpful. We would 100% recommend and become repeat renters.

Family time at Gaston

We worried about the weather but it turned out perfect! The water toys and beautiful views were a big hit. The older girls walked to the coffee shop every morning. We cooked amazing meals in the well stocked kitchen and made memories that will last a lifetime.

Great Get-a-Way!

Had a great time at the lake! Our group truly enjoyed their stay. Had plenty of room for our group, they enjoyed the game room, the boat dock was awesome, most importantly we enjoyed spending time fellowshipping and having fun on the boats & water! Would definitely stay here again! Thank you for sharing your lake house with our group.

Awesome house!

This was such a a great house. There were tons of things to do for our teens - they loved the game room and spent a ton of time on the paddle boards. The location was great - very close to shopping and restaurants. The house was fully stocked, very clean and organized. We would definitely rent here again!

We had a great week at the lake. This house is perfect for a lot of kids. They have their own area with lots of fun things to do! High recommend.

Beautiful home on lake!

We enjoyed our stay at Lake Gaston. The house was clean and had everything we needed. We rented a boat for 3 days and enjoyed fishing very close to the house and was able to keep the boat at their dock. Our dog loved the lake! Thank you for letting him join us as well!

Fabulous family time at Lake Gaston! The weather cooperated to provide us with sunshine and warmth and boat time on the lake. On the day that the weather did not cooperate, we all enjoyed having a game room to play inside. The home was very comfortable for a family of 8...family meals and comfortable nights' sleep. Thanks so much for sharing it with us!

Rest and Relaxation!

I have been renting this home annually for well over five years now! You will not be disappointed. The owners have thought of every amenity to make your stay enjoyable. The deck offers a serene and beautiful view. This home is conveniently located near restaurants and a grocery store. I always look forward to my visit, whether it’s a couple’s getaway or with girlfriends. Cindy, thank you for sharing your home with us! I look forward to my next return!

Family Time

Perfect!!! Our whole family totally enjoyed this long weekend!!! We spent one whole day on the deck on the lake. It was AMAZING!!! When we were inside, the kids were playing in the game room instead of on their Ipads. We played games, cooked, ate, and lounged on the deck and the lake deck. We will do this again! This is GEM!!!
