Great Location and nicely update property right on the Comal with everything needed in kitchen and throughout. Convenient to all the New Braunfel's spots and great, handy parking too. Would definitely stay again.

The property was amazing , clean, had all the things we needed for a family of 8. The balcony view was amazing. Loved waking up and watching the deer roam around. Over all 10/10.

Everything was beautiful and prepped well for our stay. The communication with the owner was quick and thoroughly answered. We really enjoyed this stay bc of all the deer and the water being so close.

We absolutely loved our stay! Super comfortable, spacious and well appointed condo. Literally steps away from Comal river access. This condo is towards the end of the river so you can float down about 20 minutes, then get out and walk back down the sidewalk (maybe a 5 min walk) and do it all over again. For a longer float you have to drive down to the public river access at the park where there is also a tube chute (that's a 2 hour float back to the condo). I thought it may be noisy at night being July 4th weekend and right on the river, but it really quiets down at night and is very peaceful in the mornings! Schlitterbahn is also just a short walk away, no need to drive and park. All around a perfect location and wonderful stay. Would absolutely stay again.

You're absolutely right, if you'd like a longer float, many guests choose to walk about 20 minutes to Hinman Island with their tubes instead of driving, which makes it easy to avoid parking altogether. Then you can simply float right back to the condo! We're so glad you enjoyed the peaceful evenings and mornings despite the busy holiday weekend. Thank you again for staying with River City Resorts. Lovely place to stay in NBTX

The condo was very accommodating and peaceful. Communication with management company was prompt and very helpful. Right on the Comal River, so fun to relax in the water also.

Quick weekend stay

Camp Wernicke is nice, in a great location right on the river. This particular condo is nicely updated, with room for six, a good kitchen and living space, and two balconies overlooking the river.

New fresh and tight on the river

We had a great stay. We are in our 70’s so tubing and sclitterhbahn weren’t on our to do list but if you are looking for those you can’t beat this place! We loved that it is walking distance to downtown new Braunfels. We loved that everything was brand new including the total remodel.

Best Friends River Trip EVER!!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Sister trip

We needed a time to get away to quiet, beauty and fun. All 3 were found in this beautiful condo. Note: Schlitterbaun was closed since the season ended which made for a very quiet stay. If you want to walk to Schlitterbaun in season, then this is the best place to stay.

Perfect home away from home!

Property was clean and decorated perfectly! Family games, all the kitchen essentials, plenty of towels, bedding, extra blankets, and tubes! Easy booking, clear directions, and seamless checkout. Location was more than ideal and so close to everything. The views from the patios and the private access to the river made it even better! We had enjoyed our annual moms and sons trip and can’t wait to book here again. Our sons are 12 and 13 and enjoyed staying here too!

Clean and Perfect Location

Property was clean and spacious for our two families. It has been recently updated so everything was in good condition. Perfect location to the river with just a short walk to the chute. Loved that River City Resort was very responsive and accommodating to ensure we had a pleasant time. Will definitely be returning in future.
