Only a 3 minute drive to the new Lake Cumberland Marina, formally Alligator Dock II. Beautifully remodeled 2 bedroom, 1 bath with open floor plan All hardwood floors with open concept, wall of windows overlooking wood hillside with seasonal views of the beautiful Lake Cumberland! Two decks provide for plenty outdoor seating to enjoy a barbecue on the gas grill. The back deck offers gorgeous views of wooded hillside and cabin sits up amongst the trees....it’s like being in a treehouse! Due to this feature the home is not suitable for children. Cabin will sleep up to 6 adults utilizing the leather futon in the living room.
Marina offers overnight slip rental, launch ramp, fuel and restaurant. Plenty of space to park vehicle and boat trailer. Two restaurants within a five mile drive and the option of launching boat at two different boat ramps. One at Lake Cumberland Marina and the other at the end of state route 76 which is the old Alligator Dock I site. Both of these ramps are within 3 miles of the cabin. Exterior security cameras are in use on driveway area, front door area and A/C unit area.

This VRBO rental was everything we had hoped it would be from location to the serene spot that it was in to the ease of access to everything we wanted to do. Sherry was awesome and we would come here again without thinking twice.

Peaceful

Cottage is so cute & very clean. Had a blast even though hurricane ida decided to visit with rain bands 1 day. Lake water temp was perfect & marina staff were great. Sherry was very helpful with all questions. We'll be back. Thanks again for a great time!

Great Weekend at a Beautiful Cabin

We celebrated our 28th anniversary with a weekend getaway at Lake Cumberland, Russell Springs KY. The cabin was amazing! It has a great family history and was very clean with all the amenities you would need. We had a great weekend exploring the area and some fishing. We really enjoyed relaxing and just hanging out at the cabin taking in the scenery and unwinding. I would definitely recommend!

Weekend at Cumberland

It was fine. The cabin was clean and had a nice deck on the back. However, the location was not what we thought and there is no lake view. Parking with the boat was challenging for us as we are not as experienced parking the truck with trailer in a tight space. The owner did let us know of a place you could leave the boat/trailer but we weren’t comfortable leaving it where we couldn’t see it. She also told us about a boat ramp that was much easier to launch from- which was very helpful. The lake was nice - we only had a day abs half on the water due to rain but it was nice.

Autumn in the woods

Needed a long, quiet weekend to to take a break from our hectic life. The little cabin, nestled in the woods, was exactly what We were looking for. It has obviously been remodeled recently, but the owners still kept the rustic aura and family history was left intact. So quaint. So enjoyable. The owner could not have been more accommodating. Made us feel right at home. I would highly recommend this property. It is lovely.

Quaint little house in the trees

Our girl’s trip was wonderful. The cabin was exactly as described with attention to detail that made if feel perfectly ours for the weekend. Sherry responded immediately to our check-in call. It was a 3 min drive to the marina and Kroger delivery was available for food and beverages. We would definitely stay again!

Really cute and clean!!

Exceptionally clean. Nicely renovated and fun family history on the walls. We enjoyed our stay. Everything we needed was there. We could tell there was a lot of love and thought put into the renovations. Would definitely stay again. Super convenient to Alligator 1 and 2 for docking our boat.

Beautiful Lake Cumberland

We had a wonderful time in this cabin over the Fourth of July weekend. It has everything you need and is very close to the water. A very relaxing and fun filled weekend!

Wedding visit in Russell Springs

We had a wedding reception to attend in Russell Springs, so the location of the cabin was good for our get-a-way. We liked the country road drives. And we had a good meal in Liberty, at The Bread of Life of Cafe. We were comfortable and rested well. The view was lovely and Mama and I enjoyed our stay. Sherry was easy to work with and quick to respond. Thank you for everything.
