Great location!

This is our 6th trip to this location. We love the area and the quietness of the neighborhood. People are very friendly. It’s very convenient to grand Blvd shopping and restaurants. The beach is close and we use the golf cart provided. The property management company is super, especially Pamela, always ready to help if in need and solutions are quick. Highly recommended. We go twice a year and will not stay anywhere else.

Awesome property!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The listing was just as advertised. The location was perfect, with all the spots a golf cart ride away. The property manager was very helpful and communicative. Highly recommend!

A Must Stay!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: WE love this place and have been coming back each year for 3 years. The villa is perfect for us and we have the golf cart to get to wherever we need to be. Best is sitting outside on the veranda and on the water to enjoy the view. Clean, cute and adorable! Absolutely the best customer service we have seen and we do travel!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Enjoyed the quiet location and the sounds from the back yard lake fountain day and night. However, the front door bottom weatherstripping is completely gone, so bugs (mostly roaches) roam in and out freely. This needs to be fixed immediately. Golf cart batteries are old, so you don’t get a long ride before having to return to recharge the batteries. The local community pool is being completely rebuilt, so you have to go to other resort pools. Will be very nice when the new pool is finished, hopefully before end of summer. Progress is slowwwwwwe....

Disappointed

I want to start off by saying I do not think my issues with this property are a direct reflection of the owners. I think whoever is cleaning and inspecting this rental is doing a poor job. This is a pet friendly rental, which is fine, but I did not expect to see big wads of poofy white animal hair everywhere. It was in the corners of the rooms, on the couches, and you could see a layer of it on anything dark colored. I swept multiple times throughout our stay. There were ants on the counters in the kitchen as soon as we got there and I spotted them most mornings we were there. We did not leave food open or out so I don't know what was attracting them. There were mouse droppings in the silverware drawer and in a couple of the cabinets. These appeared to be old droppings but nonetheless, they were in the kitchen where we were preparing food and on dishes we expected to be clean. We were happy to have the golf cart, but the driver's side passenger buckle was broken. When my husband touched it to inspect it, the buckle, which was just the internal metal components, completely fell apart in his hand. We returned from the pool one day to discover the air was not working. Luckily we discovered it was just the breaker and we were able to correct the issue ourselves. We loved being able to walk out the back door and fish whenever we wanted. I would return to the area but I would not stay in this property again.

Overall Very Nice

Overall the property was very nice. Clean and great location, however the back deck was being replaced while we were. We were unable to use for the first week of our stay. Communication with property manager during this work was good.

Great Location

The home was perfect for our stay. We were there to attend a conference and the location was perfect. Very quiet neighborhood so very relaxing. We hope to return to the same house next year.

Review

The location was nice and we loved the location but we found the address on the listing lists Eagle Drive but we found out the property is actually around the corner on Audubon Drive. Also, shortly after we arrived we discovered the dryer was not working. I called the property manager, MyVacationHaven, and they stated they were already aware of this based on the inspection prior to us arriving. It would have been nice if they would have made us aware of this before we arrived instead of waiting for us to discover it a day into the trip. They sent a third party out to look at the dryer on day two of our stay. He told us it needed a part that he didn’t have and the dryer would not be fixed before we were to check out four days later. After many calls with my vacation haven, they informed me my only options were to give us hangers to air dry our items or travel 20 mins down the road to the nearest laundromat to dry our clothes and reimburse us. Keep in mind, the HOA does not allow towels or items to be hung outside to air dry, so our only option was to hang our wet items inside. We found these options unacceptable as we paid a premium and packed for a working dryer.

Nice, convenient place in SanDestin

We enjoyed our stay at the property. It was clean and spacious for our little family. My son loved fishing every morning and evening from the dock. The house had everything we needed, plus some extras for the beach. The golf cart was essential as we didn't drive our car the entire time. We'd stay again.

Property fine for short trip

Golf cart was great. No parking space for two vehicles, no Keurig machine for coffee, pine straw and sap falls on vehicles parked. Condo was clean but furniture needs to be refreshed. Good place for a quick trip.

Wonderful location

This house has everything you could possibly need! It was clean and they provided a wonderful array of starter items including aloe (which came in handy after a long day at the beach). The golf cart was a big plus, but don’t wait to brake. It takes some time and pressure to stop. My family of 5 and small fur baby enjoyed our stay. We would recommend to anyone and would definitely stay again!

Great Vacation

We really enjoyed our vacation at this location. The home is clean, golfcart was great getting to the beach and Baytown. Great location. We really enjoyed fishing on the private deck and grilling. This home has it all, lakefront feel with beach and resort amenities. Nice neighborhood and community pool, we had no issues during our stay and are thankful for the vacation memories!

Great place to stay!

Great location, clean, and 6 seat golf cart. Some of golf cart seat belts weren’t working but it didn’t affect us. Also, our AC went out while there and they had someone out immediately to fix it.

2023 vacation

Very impressed with the property, a couple added bonuses where that the turtles in the pond would come right up to the dock and so would the ducks. My granddaughters loved this!! Nice quiet nights and a very clean stay, everything you need is in the rental.

Great home.

We loved the location. The fountain out back in the pond was beautiful especially at night. The lighting was great. We enjoyed fishing off the deck in the back. The neighborhood was quiet which I enjoyed. The golf cart came in very handy to be able to go to the beach and pool. We also enjoyed being able to go to the bay by golf cart. The house was very clean and cozy. Warm feeling when you walk in the door. Thanks for sharing this with our family

Great supply of linens and towels. The golf cart was awesome to use going to the grocery to the beach and to the village. We were also able to bring our fur baby along with us at this rental. Sitting out at the deck by the water was very peaceful !!!

Perfect location, great house.

First time staying in Sandestin resort, it was awesome. Golf cart was a huge plus for getting around without having to get in the car. Quiet neighborhood, which we love, but super close to everything.

Needs an update

The property is located in the Sandestin beach and resort and the property is amazing. Unfortunately, the condo is very dated with several areas needing a remodel or repaired. All appliances are very basic and the refrigerator ice machine was jammed and continued to get jammed throughout our stay. Knives, scissors, can opener, etc were not sharp and almost dangerous to use. The deck was dirty, chairs broken and grill so disgustingly dirty that we didn’t even use. Unless the above is fixed, I would use a different property in this resort.

Quiet and Peaceful

Nice property . Recommend: Correct : 1. Address on VRBO (different than physical address 2. Correct Wi-Fi address on hospitality app. ( correct Wi-Fi on refrigerator. 3. Fix brakes on golf cart . 4. Fix Louver doors on utility closet. 5. Check air filter on AC 5. Distribute basic supplies based on length of stay. Strengths of property: 1. Location 2. A good stay in a wonderful cottage; despite a family tragedy.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family experienced the tragic loss of my father-in-law in Alabama while we were on vacation and that made our trip very sad/stressful. However, my husband was able to travel to Alabama to be with his family and left us in Destin to finish out our stay until we could go to be with them. The use of the golf cart to get around in the resort was so helpful when he left and took the family car.Also, the environment was very calm and tranquil. Just what we needed at a very difficult time.
