Relaxing Waterfront Getaway with Fenced in Pet Friendly Property

Enjoy a nice getaway in this fully furnished two bedroom/2 bath home on the bayou. The living room has a great view of the bayou and its wildlife and is furnished with all the comforts of home. Relax with a nice cup of coffee or a glass of wine on the screened in porch. The kitchen has all the necessary appliances and spices, as well as a large island with plenty of bar stools. Both bedrooms have queen sized beds, one full bath in hallway and the other in the bedroom. The yard is large, fenced in with gate across driveway, a dock that is fenced, hammock for relaxing and even a fish cleaning station!

Property is just minutes away from all of the areas best attractions, including the Hollywood Casino/Golf course, Silver Slipper Casino, shopping and nightlife in Bay St. Louis, as well as public fishing piers and marinas, and beautiful beaches.

Public boat launches are within 10 minutes of the property, ie Cedar Point Park (10 min), Washington Pier (10 min), Bay Marina (5 min), Silver Slipper Casino (20 min), Pass Christian Harbor (20 min) to name a few. I have a dock, but not a boat launch.

Bodega's on Main Street has rentals for golf carts, bicycles, surf boards. See photo for phone number.

Suggested restaurants/bars in the area include Cuzs, Blind Tiger, 200 North Beach, Trapanis, Bodegas, Mockingbird Cafe, Buoys, Tripletails and Danbes. In Pass Christian (10 minutes away across the bay st louis bridge) Bacchus and Shaggy's. Live music on the weekends in town.

Relaxing

The property was comfortable and relaxing which is exactly what we wanted. Away from “city” but close enough to do things. I loved it!!

Great place to stay

We enjoyed our stay, it was great for our pet. The best thing about our stay was the location and the privacy. Was really close to all place’s we like to visit and fish. Would love to come again.

Wonderful respite

Enjoyed the quiet neighborhood, birding, and porch after busy days in New Orleans. Quick drive to waterfront for eating, shopping, and beach time. House was exactly what we needed. Host communicative and very helpful.

Great weekend getaway

My family and I had a great time. The lodge was very clean and inviting. We enjoyed fishing off the pier as well. Would easily go back.

Nit relaxing

The couch and loveseat need to be replaced. Totally worn out and sagging; vinyl covering peeling off. The furniture cushions on porch were not much better. The air conditioner made a noise when it cycled. Rust in kitchen sink from dish drainer where plastic has peeled off. Beds were comfy and water pressurer was great.

Beautiful home and perfect location

This property has the best location for a quick last minute getaway! Secluded but yet close to the local activities and views! Wonderful nice and attentive host! The host made our stay even better I love her communication and helpfulness me and my family will be coming back for sure!

Quiet and cozy

Enjoyed fishing and crabbing off the dock! Very short distance or downtown restaurants. Very clean and cozy for a relaxing weekend getaway.

Peace and tranquility

Great little place to just relax. The screened porch was our hangout. Our little dogs loved watching the cardinals and squirrels play. Peace and quiet but still close to restaurants and stores.

Absolutely Perfect

Wonderful location

Peaceful. Fenced in yard was so mind easing for me to allow my fur babies feel at home. The screen porch was great to watch birds eat from feeder, with seeds provided by host.

We came into town for a wedding, but got more than we thought. The house is cozy, quiet, and just relaxing. We actually felt relaxed and well rested during a very busy, chaotic weekend. It was calming and just what we needed. If we are ever back in this area, we would stay again. Kim is a perfect hostess.

Symphony of Frogs

My favorite thing was sitting on the covered porch and listening to the symphony of frogs. This is a perfect peaceful retreat. I loved staying here and can not wait to return. Kim, the owner, is awesome to deal with. The place was immaculate and everything you could possibly need is already there! 5 stars!!!!!!

The house and property were beautiful.

close to all things fun and needed. Far enough away so it was quiet and peaceful. We put some bait in the Crab traps for fun and caught a fish, a turtle and 2 crabs. Had a very good time despite the weather. A little cold to fish but still had a blast!! Thanks Kim

Comfortable, relaxing location on the canals of BSL

Kim's place was absolutely perfect for the two of us to peacefully relax at the end of the day. We were in town for our family who gathered to celebrate the life of a beloved Uncle who had lived in BSL until the hurricane and had always considered it his heaven on earth. The process of checking in was straightforward, the house was well stocked and loved the labeling on light switches and fans, was super clean and the master bed comfortable. My favorite attribute was the screened porch, perfect for coffee in the morning and evening sounds before bed. Would definitely return to Kim's Crab Shack-though it's not really a shack! Thank you!

I have been traveling to Bay St Louis for the past few years, and fell in love. The beautiful water, friendly people, and great fishing is what encouraged me to purchase this home. We are within 10 minutes of the town of bsl, restaurants, beaches, and public boat ramps.

Screened in porch on the water with a lot of privacy, dock to fish when the fish are there!, or relax, assortment of birds, within a few minutes to the beaches, public boat launches, fishing, gambling, and the quaint town of Bay St Louis. The seclusion is what attracted me to this property. I hope others enjoy it as much as we do.
