This property was perfect for multiple families wanting to spend time together- plenty of space to hang out, games to play and the dock was great! The cabin was clean and well stocked, we would stay here again!

Our family of 12 enjoyed a week stay here. The location on the lake is very nice. We made good use of the lake and dock area for swimming and kayaking. Overall the house is spacious and allowed kids and adults separate areas for playing and relaxing. The kitchen was pretty well organized and had some supplies. The deck areas offered good seating and a good gathering place for meals. In order for the upper level to remain cool, the lower level was very cold. We also had some difficulty maintaining enough hot water for showering in the evening and some of our group complained of very little hot water anytime in the lower level bathroom. Very little useful assistance was provided by the owner when we asked for help on the hot water issue. Would recommend bringing extra essentials like soap, shampoo, toilet paper and paper towels if you have a large family group staying a week or more.

The view is outstanding any time of day. The peace and quiet was just what we wanted. We weren’t told in advance that the lower level bedrooms were ten degrees colder than upper floor. This caused discomfort which we could have planned for and avoided. The owner failed to respond to a call about the smoke alarm. And there were no instructions on how to lock the front door when leaving. On the plus side, we were twenty yards from an eagle nest and enjoyed watching the adult and two babies.

Wonderful visit

We stayed with the family over a long weekend, the house was wonderful. And although we didn't have the best weather the entire stay, the house offers plenty to do inside and on the deck. On the nice days, the beach, dock and water was amazing.

Perfect place for families we had 13 and we’re never on top of each other. A private dock was fabulous. Great fishing great views! Perfect place for a getaway

Eagle’s Nest

We spent a week after 4th of July. It was our 3rd summer there and as before it was the perfect place for all of us (9). We enjoy the location of the home, the dock and the lake. Great family experience for us.

Hayden Lake Paradise

The Hobers are amazing hosts, 5 star, and their property is breathtaking. The home and lakeside setting was our families favorite lake setting to date.

"Brian was fabulous about answering all of our questions. Their home was incredibly well-stocked and thoughtfully prepared—you can tell a lot of love went into every detail. Our family truly enjoyed our stay on the lake. The view was absolutely stunning! One of our favorite moments was sitting on the deck, relaxing and soaking in the peaceful surroundings, when—right on cue—a bald eagle flew majestically across the deck. It was magical!"

Great Family Lakefront Home

This is a wonderful lake home with excellent afternoon sun on Hayden Lake. We really enjoyed our stay. The home is equipped very well for easy and comfortable stay for a family with kids of all ages. The dock is in excellent shape with a covered boat slip and sturdy steps into the water.

Excellent Property

Plenty of space for our party of nine. Many games of pool, foosball, ping pong. House is well equipped with everything you need and appreciate the thoroughness of property manager. We brought our boat and the dock worked very well. We had a great trip and highly recommend this property.

Wonderful lake home!

We gathered as (2) families of 4. The house could hold another family comfortably. The house is well stocked with everything you need. We brought 2 boats and paddle boards. Heaven on Hayden!

Super Stay

This was our second time in this property. I would rate this property 5 plus. It has everything you need. Just bring your food and bathing suit. The dock is beautiful and has a cover over it. This property owner takes pride in this property..

Great Lake House

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lake house. Communication was wonderful. They allowed us an early check in and a late check out due to our flight schedules. The tram was a massive asset since we had older family members. It was wonderful sitting outside on the deck overlooking the gorgeous view. We had everything we could need and loved our stay!

Our second time here, and not our last.

Stunning views never get old! We brought our boat this time which was a great addition to fun on the lake. The tram was out of commission which was a minor inconvenience, and gave us all an excuse for building our calf muscles! This is a perfect place for a family gathering.

Incredible Property

There were 9 of us and the house was perfect. We could have had a few more people. The open living space and the outdoor deck and views were amazing. Everything was well explained in the house binder.

Perfect for our needs. Grandparents with adult children and grandchildren ages from 3 months to 7 yrs old.Loved the 2 level setup and kids enjoyed all the amenities on the lower level from the toy room to ping pong table to the foosball. Adults loved the dartboard.We rented a pontoon boat for a day and the delivery and pickup was easy and it fit perfectly in the dock.The lake was not crowded at all and water was crystal clear. We swam off the boat when we had it and off the dock the other days. We made great use of the supplied kayaks and other water toys. the weather was great and the lake was always calm. One day we had 2 kayaks that ventured all the way out to the middle of the lake. 2 pontoon planes came flying in over their heads to practice scooping water for wildfire operation. Free airshow to those on the kayaks and everyone back home on the deck.I may have missed, but I don’t remember anything in the listing about the motorized tram from the house patio to the dock. It was a pleasant surprise and helpful for the folks who didn’t want to climb the stairs back up to the house.The hosts had every single need accounted for and the instructions were complete and clear.Host was reponsive to questions.Final bonus: Looking over the roof of the house from the deck we discovered an eagle nest with parents and eaglets who were preparing to fledge. We saw them easily but would have been even better if we had packed our binoculars.All in all… Great home. Highly recommend.

Dream waterfront vacation home

We had a wonderful time at this private, beautiful, immaculate and well maintained property. We gathered all the grandkids and gave them a dream vacation. The place has everything you could dream of - games, movie room, water fun equipment, awesome views, well stocked kitchen, - I could go on and on. The bedrooms were spacious with wonderful beds and upgraded bedding (I'm a nice sheet snob) Lots of bunk beds for the kiddos - they had a wonderful time. The hosts were very accommodating and welcoming - this place felt like home. Thanks so much for our dream vacation. We will be coming back!

Family and friend's getaway

The house was perfect for two families of four. Our young adult children had the lower level of the house which had three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The lower level also had a common area with foosball, pool table, ping pong table, game/movie room and more. Plenty of activities for them. It also was very soundproof. The funicular to the private dock made it easy to and from the house. Table and chairs at the dock was a great way to relax and watch the sunset. The lake house had a great view and lots of trees for privacy. From the balcony we say bald eagles and hawks. Brian was easy to communicate with and responded in a timely manner. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.

Saved Our Reunion

Our original booking was cancelled the morning of check-in, so one could imagine the scrambling we were doing to find a house for 12 of us. Brian and his wife were amazing through all of our last minute "dealings"- they were so patient and I could just feel the calm thru the messages back and forth. Their property ended up being even better for us! As a multi-generation reunion (ages ranging from 8-86), the amenities were beyond our expectations and everything about this home was so comfortable, relaxing, and functional. From the open kitchen and the grand deck with a variety of seating, to the activities in the basement and the tram to the fun cabana down at the dock, this place truly made for an awesome lake experience. We had prompt responses from the owners regarding any question and they gave very good details about the drive to the property. I am so grateful we ended up here...I couldn't have planned it better! Thank you, thank you Brian for everything- Wonderful memories for our whole family!! God Bless

Exceeding Expectations

First, the location is stunningly beautiful, of which the home takes full advantage with its massive windows facing out high above the lake. Once we opened the door, we knew our vacation would be a great one- but it kept getting better. We rented the home to accommodate our family of six and our brother’s family of five while visiting parents who love to see all the grandkids but can no longer host. All the “kids” ranging from 5 to 23 slept on the lower floor which is a kid paradise for all ages complete with pool table, foosball table, dartboard, ping pong table, movie theater room, and every family game you can think of. Upstairs the parents had our own king size bedrooms at opposite sides of the great room with stone fireplace, kitchen and dining area- all with sliding glass doors to the massive deck (with clear glass enclosure ensuring unobstructed views). The deck is appointed with a full couch and two chars with ottomans and large coffee table for appetizers and drinks, along with two large tables with eight chairs each (which we combined to make a table for 13). On one side of the deck there is a huge Weber Genesis II hooked up to gas that easily grilled two flank steaks, eight chicken breasts and 4 skewers of jumbo shrimp. Seriously, the house is incredible. Most of us, however, spent our days on the water, in the water or on the dock enjoying the many water toys and floaties or just soaking up the sun while reading one of the many “beach reads” that can be found at the house. What truly makes the experience effortless is the tram that transports you from house to dock and back. You can bring everything you want with ease, and if you forget your book or cocktail- no problem! Take a ride back to the house with a seat with a view that never disappoints. For our final day we rented a pontoon boat to explore the lake and take the kids tubing which was a blast for all. Our families made a pact to return every year as our end of summer exclamation point, except for one small change- we will stay longer! A big thank you to the owners who thought of everything, including the two bottles of welcome wine!
